Псалми 26

1 Суди ми, Господе, јер у простоти својој ходим и у Господа се уздам; нећу се поколебати.

Of David. Vindicate me, O LORD! For I have walked with integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.

2 Испитај ме, Господе, и искушај ме; претопи шта је у мени и срце моје.

Test me, O LORD, and try me; examine my heart and mind.

3 Јер је милост Твоја пред очима мојим, и ходим у истини Твојој.

For Your loving devotion is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth.

4 Не седим с безумницима, и с лукавима се не мешам.

I do not sit with deceitful men, nor keep company with hypocrites.

5 Ненавидим друштво безаконичко, и с безбожницима не седим.

I hate the mob of evildoers, and refuse to sit with the wicked.

6 Умивам правдом руке своје, и идем око жртвеника Твог, Господе,

I wash my hands in innocence that I may go about Your altar, O LORD,

7 Да разглашујем хвалу Твоју и казујем сва чудеса Твоја.

to raise my voice in thanksgiving and declare all Your wonderful works.

8 Господе! Омилео ми је стан дома Твог, и место насеља славе Твоје.

O LORD, I love the house where You dwell, the place where Your glory resides.

9 Немој душу моју погубити, ни живот мој с крвопиоцима,

Do not take my soul away with sinners, or my life with men of bloodshed,

10 Којима је злочинство у рукама, и којима је десница пуна мита.

in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes.

11 А ја ходим у простоти својој, избави ме, и смилуј се на ме.

But I will walk with integrity; redeem me and be merciful to me.

12 Нога моја стоји на правом путу; на скупштинама ћу благосиљати Господа.

My feet stand on level ground; in the congregations I will bless the LORD.
