Марко 9
1 И рече им: Заиста вам кажем: имају неки међу овима што стоје овде који неће окусити смрт док не виде царство Божје да дође у сили.
And He said unto them, Verily I tell you, that there are some of those who stand here, that shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
2 И после шест дана узе Исус Петра и Јакова и Јована и изведе их на високу гору саме; и преобрази се пред њима.
And after six days Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John, and bringeth them up by themselves to a high mountain apart; and was transfigured before them:
3 И хаљине Његове постадоше сјајне и врло беле као снег, као што не може белиља убелити на земљи.
and his raiment shone, being exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth can whiten.
4 И указа им се Илија с Мојсијем где се разговараху с Исусом.
And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
5 И Петар одговарајући рече Исусу: Рави! Добро нам је овде бити; и да начинимо три сенице: Теби једну и Мојсију једну и Илији једну.
Then said Peter to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: let us make three tabernacles; one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias:
6 Јер не знаше шта говори; јер беху врло уплашени.
for he knew not what to say, for they were sore afraid.
7 И постаде облак те их заклони; и дође глас из облака говорећи: Ово је Син мој љубазни; Њега послушајте.
And there was a cloud overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him.
8 И уједанпут погледавши, никога не видеше осим Исуса самог са собом.
And immediately looking round about, they saw no more of any one, but Jesus alone with them.
9 А кад силажаху с горе запрети им да ником не казују шта су видели, док Син човечји не устане из мртвих.
And as they came down from the mountain, He charged them to tell no one what they had seen, till after the Son of man were risen from the dead.
10 И реч задржаше у себи питајући један другог: Шта то значи устати из мртвих?
And they laid hold on that expression, querying among themselves, what means the rising from the dead?
11 И питаху Га говорећи: Како говоре књижевници да Илија треба најпре да дође?
Then they asked Him, saying, Why do the scribes say, that Elias must come first?
12 А Он одговарајући рече им: Илија ће доћи најпре, и уредити све; али и Син човечји треба да много пострада и да се понизи, као што је писано.
And He answered and told them, Elias doth indeed come first, and settle all things: He told them likewise how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things and be used contemptuously.
13 Али вам кажем да је и Илија дошао и учинише с њим шта хтедоше као што је писано за њега.
But I tell you, that Elias is come, and they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.
14 И дошавши к ученицима својим виде народ многи око њих и књижевнике где се препиру с њима.
And when He came to the other disciples, He saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes disputing with them.
15 И одмах видевши Га сав народ уплаши се и притрчавши поздрављаху Га.
And immediately all the people, when they saw Him, were astonished; and running to Him, saluted Him.
16 И упита књижевнике: Шта се препирете с њима?
And he asked the scribes, What are ye disputing about?
17 И одговарајући један од народа рече: Учитељу! Доведох к Теби сина свог у коме је дух неми.
And one of the multitude answered, and said, Master I have brought unto thee my son, who is possessed by a dumb spirit:
18 И сваки пут кад га ухвати ломи га, и пену баца и шкргуће зубима; и суши се. И рекох ученицима Твојим да га истерају; и не могоше.
and wherever it seizeth him, it convulseth him; and he fometh, and gnasheth his teeth, and thus he pineth away: and I desired thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not.
19 А Он одговарајући му рече: О роде неверни! Докле ћу с вама бити? Докле ћу вас трпети? Доведите га к мени.
And He answered and said, O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him to me.
20 И доведоше га к Њему; и кад Га виде одмах га дух стаде ломити; и паднувши на земљу ваљаше се бацајући пену.
And they brought him to Him: and as soon as he saw Him, immediately the spirit threw him into convulsions: and he fell upon the ground, and rolled about foming.
21 И упита оца његовог: Колико има времена како му се то догодило? А он рече: Из детињства.
And He asked his father, How long is it since this befel him? And he said, From a child.
22 И много пута баца га у ватру и у воду да га погуби; него ако шта можеш помози нам, смилуј се на нас.
And it has often thrown him both into the fire and into the waters to destroy him. But if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us.
23 А Исус рече му: Ако можеш веровати: све је могуће ономе који верује.
And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 И одмах повикавши отац детињи са сузама говораше: Верујем, Господе! Помози мом неверју.
And the father of the child immediately cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief.
25 А Исус видећи да се стиче народ, запрети духу нечистом говорећи му: Душе неми и глуви! Ја ти заповедам, изађи из њега и више не улази у њега.
when Jesus saw the people flock together, He rebuked the impure spirit, and said to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, Come out of him, and enter no more into him.
26 И повикавши и изломивши га врло изађе; и учини се као мртав тако да многи говораху: Умре.
And when he had rored and vehemently convulsed him, he came out of him: and the child was as one dead, so that many said, that he was dead.
27 А Исус узевши га за руку подиже га: и уста.
But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.
28 И кад уђе у кућу, питаху Га ученици Његови насамо: Зашто га ми нисмо могли истерати?
And when He was come into the house, his disciples asked Him in private, Why could not we cast him out?
29 И рече им: Овај се род ничим не може истерати до молитвом и постом.
And He said unto them, This kind cannot be cast out, but by prayer and fasting.
30 И изашавши оданде иђаху кроз Галилеју; и не хтеше да ко дозна.
And they departed from thence and passed through Galilee, and He was not willing that any should know it;
31 Јер учаше ученике своје, и говораше им да ће се Син човечји предати у руке људске, и убиће Га, и пошто Га убију устаће трећи дан.
for He was instructing his disciples, and told them, the Son of man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will put Him to death; and on the third day, after his being put to death, He will rise again.
32 А они не разумеваху реч, и не смеху да Га запитају.
But they knew not his meaning, and were afraid to ask Him.
33 И дође у Капернаум, и кад беше у кући запита их: Шта се препирасте путем међу собом?
And he came to Capernaum; and when He was in the house, He asked them, What were ye disputing about among yourselves by the way?
34 А они ћутаху; јер се путем препираше међу собом ко је највећи.
But they held their peace; for they had been disputing with each other by the way who should be the greatest.
35 И седавши дозва дванаесторицу и рече им: Који хоће да буде први нека буде од свих најзадњи и свима слуга.
So He sat down and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any one would be first, let him be last of all, and servant of all.
36 И узевши дете метну га међу њих и загрливши га рече им:
And He took a child and set him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms He said unto them,
37 Ко једно овакво дете прими у име моје, мене прима; а ко мене прими, не прима мене него Оног који је мене послао.
Whoever shall receive one of these little children in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me only, but Him that sent me.
38 Одговори Му Јован говорећи: Учитељу! Видесмо једног где именом Твојим изгони ђаволе који не иде за нама: и забранисмо му, јер не иде за нама.
But John answered Him and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name, who doth not follow us; and we forbade him, because he followeth not us.
39 А Исус рече: Не браните му; јер нема никога који би именом мојим чудо чинио да може брзо зло говорити за мном.
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no one, that worketh a miracle in my name, and can presently speak evil of me:
40 Јер ко није против вас с вама је.
for he that is not against us, is for us.
41 Јер ко вас напоји чашом воде у име моје, зато што сте Христови, заиста вам кажем: неће му пропасти плата.
For whosoever shall give you but a cup of water to drink, for my sake; because ye are Christ's, I assure you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 А који саблазни једног од ових малих који верују мене, боље би му било да обеси камен воденични о врат свој и да се баци у море.
And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones, that believe in me, to offend, it were better for him, if a milstone were laid upon his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
43 И ако те рука твоја саблажњава, одсеци је: боље ти је без руке у живот ући, неголи с обе руке ући у пакао, у огањ вечни, (Geenna g1067)
And if thy hand cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell, into the fire that will never be extinguished; (Geenna g1067)
44 Где црв њихов не умире, и огањ се не гаси.
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 И ако те нога твоја саблажњава, одсеци је: боље ти је ући у живот хром, неголи с две ноге да те баце у пакао, у огањ вечни, (Geenna g1067)
And if thy foot cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life lame, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the inextinguishable fire; (Geenna g1067)
46 Где црв њихов не умире, и огањ се не гаси.
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 Ако те и око твоје саблажњава, ископај га: боље ти је с једним оком ући у царство Божје, неголи с два ока да те баце у пакао огњени, (Geenna g1067)
And if thine eye cause thee to offend, cast it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire; (Geenna g1067)
48 Где црв њихов не умире, и огањ се не гаси.
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 Јер ће се сваки огњем посолити, и свака ће се жртва сољу посолити.
For every one shall be as it were salted by fire, and every sacrifice shall be seasoned as with salt.
50 Добра је со; али ако со буде неслана, чим ће се осолити? Имајте со у себи, и мир имајте међу собом.
Salt is useful, but if the salt become insipid, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt therefore in yourselves, and as a proof of it be at peace one with another.
