1 Сваке седме године опраштај.
At the end of seven years, shalt thou make a release.
2 А опраштање да бива овако: коме је ко дужан шта, нека опрости шта би могао тражити од ближњег свог; нека не тражи од ближњег свог и од брата свог, јер је опраштање Господње оглашено.
And, this, shall be the manner of the release, Every creditor who lendeth aught to his neighbour, his hand shall release it, —he shall not exact it of his neighbour or his brother, because there hath been proclaimed a release unto Yahweh.
3 Од туђина тражи, али шта би имао у брата свог, оно нека му опрости рука твоја,
Of a foreigner, thou mayest exact it, —but, what thou hast with thy brother, thy hand shall release;
4 Да не би било сиромаха међу вама, јер ће те обилно благословити Господ у земљи коју ти Господ Бог твој да у наследство да је твоја.
save, when there shall be among you no needy person, —for Yahweh will indeed bless, thee, in the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee as an inheritance to possess it:
5 Само ако добро узаслушаш глас Господа Бога свог гледајући да чиниш све ове заповести, које ти ја заповедам данас,
only if thou do hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God, —to observe to do—all this commandment which I am commanding thee to-day.
6 Благословиће те Господ Бог твој, као што ти је казао, те ћеш давати у зајам многим народима, а ни од кога нећеш узимати у зајам, и владаћеш многим народима, а они тобом неће владати.
When, Yahweh thy God, hath blessed thee, as he spake unto thee, then shalt thou lend unto many nations but thou, shalt not borrow, and, thou shalt rule over many nations but over thee, shall they not rule.
7 Ако буде у тебе који сиромах између браће твоје у коме месту твом, у земљи твојој, коју ти даје Господ Бог твој, немој да ти се стврдне срце твоје и да стиснеш руку своју брату свом сиромаху.
When there cometh to be among you a needy person any one of thy brethren within any one of thy gates, in thy land, which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee, thou shalt not harden thy heart nor shut thy hand from thy needy brother;
8 Него отвори руку своју и позајми му радо колико му год треба у потреби његовој.
but thou shalt, open, thy hand unto him, —and, lend, him enough to meet the poverty which doth impoverish him.
9 Чувај се да не буде какво неваљалство у срцу твом, па да кажеш: Близу је седма година, година опросна; и да око твоје не буде зло према брату твом сиромаху, па да му не даш, а он зато да вапије ка Господу на те, и буде ти грех.
Take thou heed to thyself lest there be something near thine abandoned heart, saying—Drawing nigh, is the seventh year the year of release, and so thine eye be evil, against thy needy brother, and thou give not unto him, —and he cry out against thee unto Yahweh, and it become in thee a sin!
10 Подај му, и нека не жали срце твоје кад му даш; јер ће за ту ствар благословити тебе Господ Бог твој у сваком послу твом и у свему за шта се прихватиш руком својом.
Thou shalt, give, unto him, and thy heart shall not be evil when thou givest unto him, —for on account of this very thing, will Yahweh thy God bless thee, in all that thou doest and in all whereunto thou puttest thy hand.
11 Јер неће бити без сиромаха у земљи; зато ти заповедам и кажем: отварај руку своју брату свом, невољнику и сиромаху свом у земљи својој.
For the needy will not cease out of the midst of the land—for this cause, am I commanding thee, saying, Thou shalt open, thy hand unto thy brother to thy poor and to thy needy, in thy land.
12 Ако ти се прода брат твој Јеврејин или Јеврејка, нека ти служи шест година, а седме године отпусти га од себе слободног.
When thy brother a Hebrew man (or a Hebrew woman) selleth himself unto thee, then shall he serve thee six years, —and in the seventh year, shalt thou let him go out free from thee;
13 А кад га отпустиш од себе слободног, немој га отпустити празног.
and when thou lettest him go out free, from thee, thou shalt not let him go out empty:
14 Даруј га чим између стоке своје и с гумна свог и из каце своје; подај му чим те је благословио Господ Бог твој.
thou shalt, richly load, him out of thy flock, and out of thy threshing-floor and out of thy wine-vat, —of that wherewith Yahweh thy God hath blessed thee, shalt thou give unto him;
15 И опомињи се да си био роб у земљи мисирској и да те је избавио Господ Бог твој; зато ти ја заповедам ово данас.
and thou shalt remember that a servant, thou wast in the land of Egypt, and that Yahweh thy God, redeemed thee, —for this cause, am I commanding thee this thing, to-day.
16 Ако ли ти каже: Нећу да идем од тебе, зато што те љуби и дом твој, јер му је добро код тебе,
And it shall be, if he shall say unto thee, I will not go away from thee, —because he loveth thee, and thy household, because he is well off with thee,
17 Тада узми шило и пробуши му ухо на вратима, и биће ти слуга довека; и слушкињи својој учини тако.
then shalt thou take an awl and thrust it through his ear unto the door, so shall he be thy servant all his life. And unto thine handmaid also, shalt thou do thus.
18 Немој да ти буде тешко кад га отпушташ од себе слободна, јер је двојином онолико колико најамник заслужио у тебе за шест година, да би те благословио Господ Бог твој у свему што радиш.
It shall not be hard in thine eyes when thou lettest him go out free, from thee; for to the double of the hire of a hireling, hath he served thee six years, —so will Yahweh thy God bless thee, in all that thou doest.
19 Све првенце у стоци својој крупној и ситној што буде мушко, посвети Господу Богу свом; не ради на првенцу од краве своје, и не стрижи првенца од оваца својих.
Every firstling that is brought forth in thy herd and in thy flock that is a male, shalt thou hallow unto Yahweh thy God, —thou shalt not work with a firstling of thine oxen, neither shalt thou shear a firstling of thy flock:
20 Пред Господом Богом својим једи их ти и породица твоја сваке године на месту које изабере Господ.
before Yahweh thy God, shalt thou eat it year by year, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, —thou, and thy household.
21 Ако ли на њему буде мана, ако буде хромо или слепо, или која год зла мана буде на њему, не кољи га Господу Богу свом.
But, when there is in it any blemish, lameness or blindness, any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto Yahweh thy God:
22 У свом месту поједи га; и чист и нечист нека једе као срну и јелена.
within thine own gates, mayest thou eat it, —the unclean of you and the clean alike, as the gazelle and as the hart.
23 Само крв од њега не једи; пролиј је на земљу као воду.
Only the blood thereof, shalt thou not eat, —on the earth, shalt thou pour it out like water.
