2 Коринћанима 1
1 Од Павла, апостола Исуса Христа по вољи Божијој и брата Тимотија цркви Божјој у Коринту, са свима светима који су у свој Ахаји:
Paul, an apostle of Messiah Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Благодат вам и мир од Бога Оца нашег, и Господа Исуса Христа.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (the) Messiah.
3 Благословен Бог и Отац Господа нашег Исуса Христа, Отац милости и Бог сваке утехе,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus (the) Messiah, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;
4 Који нас утешава у свакој невољи нашој, да бисмо могли утешити оне који су у свакој невољи утехом којом нас саме Бог утешава.
who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 Јер како се страдања Христова умножавају на нама тако се и утеха наша умножава кроз Христа.
For as the sufferings of Messiah abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Messiah.
6 Ако ли смо, пак, у невољи, за вашу је утеху и спасење, које постаје у трпљењу тих истих страдања која и ми подносимо.
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
7 И надање наше тврдо је за вас. Ако ли се утешавамо, за вашу је утеху и спасење, знајући да као што сте заједничари у нашем страдању тако и у утеси.
Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so also are you of the comfort.
8 Јер вам нећемо, браћо, затајити невољу нашу која нам се догоди у Азији кад нам је било претешко и преко силе тако да се нисмо надали ни живети;
For we do not desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
9 Него сами у себи расудисмо да нам ваља помрети, да се већ не уздасмо у себе него у Бога који подиже мртве.
Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
10 Који нас је од толике смрти избавио, и избавља; и у Њега се уздамо да ће нас и још избавити,
who delivered us out of so great a death, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will also deliver us again;
11 С помоћу и ваше молитве за нас; да многи људи многу хвалу дају Богу за даре који су нама дати вас ради.
you also helping together on our behalf by your petition; that, for the gift bestowed on us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.
12 Јер је наша слава ово: сведочанство савести наше да смо у простоти и чистоти Божјој, а не у мудрости телесној него по благодати Божјој живели на свету, а особито међу вама.
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that with pure motives and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13 Јер вам друго не пишемо него шта читате и разумевате. А надам се да ћете и до краја разумети.
For we write no other things to you, than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will fully acknowledge;
14 Као што неки и разуместе да смо вам слава као и ви нама за дан Господа нашег Исуса Христа.
as also you acknowledged us in part, that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 И у овом поуздању хтедох да вам дођем пре, да другу благодат имате;
In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit;
16 И кроз вас да дођем у Македонију, и опет из Македоније да дођем к вама, и ви да ме пратите у Јудеју.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
17 Али кад сам ово хтео, еда ли сам дакле шта непристојно чинио? Или што се накањујем, да се по телу накањујем, да буде у мене да да, а не не?
When I therefore was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the "Yes, yes" and the "No, no?"
18 Али је Бог веран, те реч наша к вама не би да и не.
But as God is faithful, our word toward you is not "Yes and no."
19 Јер Син Божји Исус Христос, ког ми вама приповедасмо ја и Силван и Тимотије, не би да и не, него у Њему би да.
For the Son of God, Jesus (the) Messiah, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not "Yes and no," but in him is "Yes."
20 Јер колико је обећања Божијих, у Њему су да, и у Њему амин, Богу на славу кроз нас.
For however many are the promises of God, in him they are "Yes." Therefore also through him they are "Amen," to the glory of God through us.
21 А Бог је који нас утврди с вама у Христу, и помаза нас,
Now he who establishes us with you in Messiah, and anointed us, is God;
22 Који нас и запечати, и даде залог Духа у срца наша.
who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 А ја за сведока Бога призивам на своју душу да штедећи вас не дођох више у Коринт.
But I call God as a witness to my soul, that to spare you I did not come again to Corinth.
24 Не као да ми владамо вером вашом, него смо помагачи ваше радости; јер у вери стојите.
Not that we rule over your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
