1 Коринћанима 10

1 Али нећу вам затајити, браћо, да очеви наши сви под облаком бише, и сви кроз море прођоше;

For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

2 И сви се у Мојсија крстише у облаку и мору;

and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 И сви једно јело духовно једоше;

and they all did eat the same spiritual food;

4 И сви једно пиће духовно пише; јер пијаху од духовне стене која иђаше за њима: а стена беше Христос.

and all did drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 Али многи од њих не беху по Божијој вољи, јер бише побијени у пустињи.

But with many of them God is not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 А ово бише угледи нама, да ми не желимо зала, као и они што желеше.

And these became our examples, in order that we may not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

7 Нити бивајте идолопоклоници, као неки од њих, као што стоји написано: Седоше људи да једу и да пију, и усташе да играју.

Neither be ye idolaters, as some of them were; as has been written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and arose up to play.

8 Нити да се курвамо, као неки од њих што се курваше, и паде их у један дан двадесет и три хиљаде.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed fornication, and fell in one day twenty-three thousand.

9 Нити да кушамо Христа, као што неки од њих кушаше, и од змија изгибоше.

Neither let us tempt the Lord, as some of them tempted Him, and were destroyed by serpents.

10 Нити да вичемо на Бога, као неки од њих што викаше, и изгибоше од крвника.

Neither murmur, as some of them murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

11 Ово се пак све догађаше угледи њима, а написа се за науку нама, на које последак света дође. (aiōn g165)

But these things happened unto them as examples; and were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have descended. (aiōn g165)

12 Јер који мисли да стоји нека се чува да не падне.

So let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he may fall.

13 Друго искушење не дође на вас осим човечијег; али је веран Бог који вас неће пустити да се искушате већма него што можете, него ће учинити с искушењем и крај, да можете поднети.

No temptation has overtaken you, except that which is human: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation, He will also make a way of escape, in order that you may be able to bear it.

14 Зато, љубазна браћо моја, бежите од идолопоклонства.

Therefore, my beloved, fly from idolatry.

15 Као мудрима говорим; судите ви шта говорим.

As I speak to the wise; judge ye what I say.

16 Чаша благослова коју благосиљамо није ли заједница крви Христове? Хлеб који ломимо није ли заједница тела Христовог?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 Јер смо један хлеб, једно тело многи; јер сви у једном хлебу имамо заједницу.

Because we, being many, are one bread, one body: for we all partake of one bread.

18 Гледајте Израиља по телу: који једу жртве нису ли заједничари олтара?

See Israel after the flesh: are not all eating the sacrifices communicants of the altar?

19 Шта дакле говорим? Да је идол шта? Или идолска жртва да је шта?

Then what do I say? that idolatry is anything? or that an idol is anything?

20 Није; него шта жртвују незнабошци, да ђаволима жртвују, а не Богу; а ја нећу да сте ви заједничари са ђаволима.

But those things which they sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God. But I do not wish you to be the communicants of demons.

21 Не можете пити чаше Господње и чаше ђаволске; не можете имати заједницу у трпези Господњој и у трпези ђаволској.

You are not able to drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: you are not able to partake of the table of the Lord, and the table of demons.

22 Или да пркосимо Господу? Еда ли смо ми јачи од Њега?

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? whether are we stronger than he?

23 Све ми је слободно, али није све на корист; све ми је слободно, али све не иде на добро.

All things are lawful; but all things are not profitable. All things are lawful; but all things do not edify.

24 Нико да не гледа шта је његово, него сваки да гледа шта је другог.

Let no one seek his own, but that of another.

25 Све што се продаје на месарници, једите, и ништа не испитујте савести ради;

Eat everything which is sold in market, asking no questions on account of conscience;

26 Јер је Господња земља и шта је на њој.

for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness of the same.

27 Ако ли вас ко од неверника позове, и хоћете ићи, једите све што се пред вас донесе, и не премишљајте ништа савести ради.

If any one of the unbelievers invite you, and you wish to go; eat everything which is placed before you, asking no questions on account of conscience.

28 Ако ли вам пак ко рече: Ово је идолска жртва, не једите ради оног који вам каже, и ради савести; јер је Господња земља и шта је на њој.

But if any one may say to you; This is offered to an idol, eat not, on account of him who gave the information, and his conscience.

29 Али не говорим за савест твоју, него другог; јер зашто да моју слободу суди савест другог?

But I say the conscience not of himself, but of the other one. For why is my liberty judged by the conscience of another?

30 Ако ја с благодаћу уживам, зашто да се хули на мене за оно за шта ја захваљујем?

If I partake with grace, why am I traduced for that over which I give thanks?

31 Ако дакле једете, ако ли пијете, ако ли шта друго чините, све на славу Божију чините.

Then whether you eat, or whether you drink, or what you do, do all things to the glory of God.

32 Не будите на саблазан ни Јеврејима, ни Грцима, ни цркви Божијој,

Be ye without offence, both to Jews, and to Greeks, and to the church of God:

33 Као што ја у свачему свима угађам, не тражећи своје користи него многих, да се спасу.

as I also please all in all things, seeking not my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.
