ปฺรกาศิตํ 17

1 ตทนนฺตรํ เตษำ สปฺตกํสธาริณำ สปฺตทูตานามฺ เอก อาคตฺย มำ สมฺภาษฺยาวทตฺ, อตฺราคจฺฉ, เมทินฺยา นรปตโย ยยา เวศฺยยา สารฺทฺธํ วฺยภิจารกรฺมฺม กฺฤตวนฺต: ,

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgement of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

2 ยสฺยา วฺยภิจารมเทน จ ปฺฤถิวีนิวาสิโน มตฺตา อภวนฺ ตสฺยา พหุโตเยษูปวิษฺฏายา มหาเวศฺยายา ทณฺฑมฺ อหํ ตฺวำ ทรฺศยามิฯ

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality. Those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”

3 ตโต 'หมฺ อาตฺมนาวิษฺฏเสฺตน ทูเตน ปฺรานฺตรํ นีตสฺตตฺร นินฺทานามภิ: ปริปูรฺณํ สปฺตศิโรภิ รฺทศศฺฤงฺไคศฺจ วิศิษฺฏํ สินฺทูรวรฺณํ ปศุมุปวิษฺฏา โยษิเทกา มยา ทฺฤษฺฏาฯ

He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-coloured beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 สา นารี กฺฤษฺณโลหิตวรฺณํ สินฺทูรวรฺณญฺจ ปริจฺฉทํ ธารยติ สฺวรฺณมณิมุกฺตาภิศฺจ วิภูษิตาสฺติ ตสฺยา: กเร ฆฺฤณารฺหทฺรไวฺย: สฺววฺยภิจารชาตมไลศฺจ ปริปูรฺณ เอก: สุวรฺณมย: กํโส วิทฺยเตฯ

The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.

5 ตสฺยา ภาเล นิคูฒวากฺยมิทํ ปฺฤถิวีสฺถเวศฺยานำ ฆฺฤณฺยกฺริยาณาญฺจ มาตา มหาพาพิลิติ นาม ลิขิตมฺ อาเสฺตฯ

And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

6 มม ทฺฤษฺฏิโคจรสฺถา สา นารี ปวิตฺรโลกานำ รุธิเรณ ยีโศ: สากฺษิณำ รุธิเรณ จ มตฺตาสีตฺ ตสฺยา ทรฺศนาตฺ มมาติศยมฺ อาศฺจรฺยฺยชฺญานํ ชาตํฯ

I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

7 ตต: ส ทูโต มามฺ อวทตฺ กุตสฺตวาศฺจรฺยฺยชฺญานํ ชายเต? อสฺยา โยษิตสฺตทฺวาหนสฺย สปฺตศิโรภิ รฺทศศฺฤงฺไคศฺจ ยุกฺตสฺย ปโศศฺจ นิคูฒภาวมฺ อหํ ตฺวำ ชฺญาปยามิฯ

The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

8 ตฺวยา ทฺฤษฺโฏ 'เสา ปศุราสีตฺ เนทานีํ วรฺตฺตเต กินฺตุ รสาตลาตฺ เตโนเทตวฺยํ วินาศศฺจ คนฺตวฺย: ฯ ตโต เยษำ นามานิ ชคต: สฺฤษฺฏิกาลมฺ อารภฺย ชีวนปุสฺตเก ลิขิตานิ น วิทฺยนฺเต เต ปฺฤถิวีนิวาสิโน ภูตมฺ อวรฺตฺตมานมุปสฺถาสฺยนฺตญฺจ ตํ ปศุํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวาศฺจรฺยฺยํ มํสฺยนฺเตฯ (Abyssos g12)

The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present. (Abyssos g12)

9 อตฺร ชฺญานยุกฺตยา พุทฺธฺยา ปฺรกาศิตวฺยํฯ ตานิ สปฺตศิรำสิ ตสฺยา โยษิต อุปเวศนสฺถานสฺวรูปา: สปฺตคิรย: สปฺต ราชานศฺจ สนฺติฯ

Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

10 เตษำ ปญฺจ ปติตา เอกศฺจ วรฺตฺตมาน: เศษศฺจาทฺยาปฺยนุปสฺถิต: ส ยโทปสฺถาสฺยติ ตทาปิ เตนาลฺปกาลํ สฺถาตวฺยํฯ

They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, and the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.

11 ย: ปศุราสีตฺ กินฺตฺวิทานีํ น วรฺตฺตเต ส เอวาษฺฏม: , ส สปฺตานามฺ เอโก 'สฺติ วินาศํ คมิษฺยติ จฯ

The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.

12 ตฺวยา ทฺฤษฺฏานิ ทศศฺฤงฺคาณฺยปิ ทศ ราชาน: สนฺติ: , อทฺยาปิ ไต ราชฺยํ น ปฺราปฺตํ กินฺตุ มุหูรฺตฺตเมกํ ยาวตฺ ปศุนา สารฺทฺธํ เต ราชาน อิว ปฺรภุตฺวํ ปฺราปฺสฺยนฺติฯ

The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

13 ต เอกมนฺตฺรณา ภวิษฺยนฺติ สฺวกียศกฺติปฺรภาเวา ปศเว ทาสฺยนฺติ จฯ

These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

14 เต เมษศาวเกน สารฺทฺธํ โยตฺสฺยนฺติ, กินฺตุ เมษศาวกสฺตานฺ เชษฺยติ ยต: ส ปฺรภูนำ ปฺรภู ราชฺญำ ราชา จาสฺติ ตสฺย สงฺคิโน 'ปฺยาหูตา อภิรุจิตา วิศฺวาสฺยาศฺจฯ

These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

15 อปรํ ส มามฺ อวทตฺ สา เวศฺยา ยโตฺรปวิศติ ตานิ โตยานิ โลกา ชนตา ชาตโย นานาภาษาวาทินศฺจ สนฺติฯ

He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

16 ตฺวยา ทฺฤษฺฏานิ ทศ ศฺฤงฺคาณิ ปศุศฺเจเม ตำ เวศฺยามฺ ฤตียิษฺยนฺเต ทีนำ นคฺนาญฺจ กริษฺยนฺติ ตสฺยา มำสานิ โภกฺษฺยนฺเต วหฺนินา ตำ ทาหยิษฺยนฺติ จฯ

The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

17 ยต อีศฺวรสฺย วากฺยานิ ยาวตฺ สิทฺธึ น คมิษฺยนฺติ ตาวทฺ อีศฺวรสฺย มโนคตํ สาธยิตุมฺ เอกำ มนฺตฺรณำ กฺฤตฺวา ตไสฺม ปศเว เสฺวษำ ราชฺยํ ทาตุญฺจ เตษำ มนำสีศฺวเรณ ปฺรวรฺตฺติตานิฯ

For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

18 อปรํ ตฺวยา ทฺฤษฺฏา โยษิตฺ สา มหานครี ยา ปฺฤถิวฺยา ราชฺญามฺ อุปริ ราชตฺวํ กุรุเตฯ

The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
