1 อถ สปฺตาหปฺรถมทิเน'ติปฺรตฺยูเษ ตา โยษิต: สมฺปาทิตํ สุคนฺธิทฺรวฺยํ คฺฤหีตฺวา ตทนฺยาภิ: กิยตีภิ: สฺตฺรีภิ: สห ศฺมศานํ ยยุ: ฯ
The however on [the] first [day] of the week dawn very early to the tomb they came bringing that they had prepared spices (and certain with them. *K)
2 กินฺตุ ศฺมศานทฺวาราตฺ ปาษาณมปสาริตํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา
They found then the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 ตา: ปฺรวิศฺย ปฺรโภ เรฺทหมปฺราปฺย
(and *k) Having entered (however *no) not they found the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 วฺยากุลา ภวนฺติ เอตรฺหิ เตโชมยวสฺตฺรานฺวิเตา เทฺวา ปุรุเษา ตาสำ สมีเป สมุปสฺถิเตา
And it came to pass while (perplexing *N+kO) they about this that behold men two stood by them in (garment dazzling. *N+kO)
5 ตสฺมาตฺตา: ศงฺกายุกฺตา ภูมาวโธมุขฺยสฺยสฺถุ: ฯ ตทา เตา ตา อูจตุ รฺมฺฤตานำ มเธฺย ชีวนฺตํ กุโต มฺฤคยถ?
Terrified then were becoming they and bowing (their faces *N+kO) to the ground they said to them; Why seek you the living among the dead?
6 โสตฺร นาสฺติ ส อุทสฺถาตฺฯ
Not He is here but He is risen! do remember how He spoke to you yet being in Galilee
7 ปาปินำ กเรษุ สมรฺปิเตน กฺรุเศ หเตน จ มนุษฺยปุเตฺรณ ตฺฤตียทิวเส ศฺมศานาทุตฺถาตวฺยมฺ อิติ กถำ ส คลีลิ ติษฺฐนฺ ยุษฺมภฺยํ กถิตวานฺ ตำ สฺมรตฯ
saying The Son of Man that it behooves to be delivered into hands of men sinful and to be crucified and on the third day to arise.
8 ตทา ตสฺย สา กถา ตาสำ มน: สุ ชาตาฯ
And they remembered the declarations of Him,
9 อนนฺตรํ ศฺมศานาทฺ คตฺวา ตา เอกาทศศิษฺยาทิภฺย: สรฺเวฺวภฺยสฺตำ วารฺตฺตำ กถยามาสุ: ฯ
And having returned from the tomb they related these things all to the eleven and to all the rest.
10 มคฺทลีนีมริยมฺ, โยหนา, ยากูโพ มาตา มริยมฺ ตทนฺยา: สงฺคิโนฺย โยษิตศฺจ เปฺรริเตภฺย เอตา: สรฺวฺวา วารฺตฺตา: กถยามาสุ:
It was now Magdalene Mary and Joanna and Mary the [mother] of James and the other women with them; (who *k) were telling to the apostles these things,
11 กินฺตุ ตาสำ กถามฺ อนรฺถกาขฺยานมาตฺรํ พุทฺธฺวา โกปิ น ปฺรไตฺยตฺฯ
And appeared before them like folly the declarations (of them *N+kO) and they were not believing in them.
12 ตทา ปิตร อุตฺถาย ศฺมศานานฺติกํ ทธาว, ตตฺร จ ปฺรโหฺว ภูตฺวา ปารฺไศฺวกสฺถาปิตํ เกวลํ วสฺตฺรํ ททรฺศ; ตสฺมาทาศฺจรฺยฺยํ มนฺยมาโน ยทฆฏต ตนฺมนสิ วิจารยนฺ ปฺรตเสฺถฯ
But Peter having risen up he ran to the tomb, and having stooped down he sees the linen strips (lying *k) alone and he went away in (himself *NK+o) wondering at that having come to pass.
13 ตสฺมินฺเนว ทิเน เทฺวา ศิเยฺยา ยิรูศาลมศฺจตุษฺโกฺรศานฺตริตมฺ อิมฺมายุคฺรามํ คจฺฉนฺเตา
And behold two of them on same the day were going to a village being distant stadia sixty from Jerusalem whose name [is] Emmaus.
14 ตาสำ ฆฏนานำ กถามกถยตำ
and they themselves were talking with one another about all which having taken place these things.
15 ตโยราลาปวิจารโย: กาเล ยีศุราคตฺย ตาภฺยำ สห ชคาม
And it came to pass during the talking by them and reasoning that Himself Jesus having drawn near He was walking along with them.
16 กินฺตุ ยถา เตา ตํ น ปริจินุตสฺตทรฺถํ ตโย รฺทฺฤษฺฏิ: สํรุทฺธาฯ
but the eyes of them were held not to know Him.
17 ส เตา ปฺฤษฺฏวานฺ ยุวำ วิษณฺเณา กึ วิจารยนฺเตา คจฺฉถ: ?
He said then to them; What words [are] these that you exchange with one another walking? And (they stood still *N+KO) looking sad.
18 ตตสฺตโย: กฺลิยปานามา ปฺรตฺยุวาจ ยิรูศาลมปุเร'ธุนา ยานฺยฆฏนฺต ตฺวํ เกวลวิเทศี กึ ตทฺวฺฤตฺตานฺตํ น ชานาสิ?
Answering now (the *k) one (from of them *O) (whose *k) (name *NK+o) Cleopas said to Him; You yourself alone visit (in *k) Jerusalem and not have known the [things] having come to pass in it in days these?
19 ส ปปฺรจฺฉ กา ฆฏนา: ? ตทา เตา วกฺตุมาเรภาเต ยีศุนามา โย นาสรตีโย ภวิษฺยทฺวาที อีศฺวรสฺย มานุษาณาญฺจ สากฺษาตฺ วาเกฺย กรฺมฺมณิ จ ศกฺติมานาสีตฺ
And He said to them; What things? And they said to Him; The [things] concerning Jesus (of Nazareth, *N+kO) who was a man a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
20 ตมฺ อสฺมากํ ปฺรธานยาชกา วิจารกาศฺจ เกนาปิ ปฺรกาเรณ กฺรุเศ วิทฺธฺวา ตสฺย ปฺราณานนาศยนฺ ตทียา ฆฏนา: ;
that then delivered up him the chief priests and the rulers of us to [the] judgment of death and crucified Him.
21 กินฺตุ ย อิสฺราเยลียโลกานฺ อุทฺธารยิษฺยติ ส เอวายมฺ อิตฺยาศาสฺมาภิ: กฺฤตาฯ ตทฺยถา ตถาสฺตุ ตสฺยา ฆฏนายา อทฺย ทินตฺรยํ คตํฯ
We ourselves however were hoping that He himself it is who is about to redeem Israel. But indeed (also *no) with all these things [the] third this day brings (today *ko) away from which these things came to pass.
22 อธิกนฺตฺวสฺมากํ สงฺคินีนำ กิยตฺสฺตฺรีณำ มุเขโภฺย'สมฺภววากฺยมิทํ ศฺรุตํ;
However also women certain out from us amazed us Having been (at dawn *N+kO) to the tomb
23 ตา: ปฺรตฺยูเษ ศฺมศานํ คตฺวา ตตฺร ตสฺย เทหมฺ อปฺราปฺย วฺยาฆุเฏฺยตฺวา โปฺรกฺตวตฺย: สฺวรฺคีสทูเตา ทฺฤษฺฏาวสฺมาภิเสฺตา จาวาทิษฺฏำ ส ชีวิตวานฺฯ
and not having found the body of Him they came declaring also a vision of angels to have seen who say He [is] living.
24 ตโตสฺมากํ ไกศฺจิตฺ ศฺมศานมคมฺยต เต'ปิ สฺตฺรีณำ วากฺยานุรูปํ ทฺฤษฺฏวนฺต: กินฺตุ ตํ นาปศฺยนฺฯ
And went some of those with us to the tomb and found [it] so even as also the women said, Him however not they saw.
25 ตทา ส ตาวุวาจ, เห อโพเธา เห ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิภิรุกฺตวากฺยํ ปฺรเตฺยตุํ วิลมฺพมาเนา;
And He himself said to them; O foolish and slow of heart to believe in all that spoke the prophets;
26 เอตตฺสรฺวฺวทุ: ขํ ภุกฺตฺวา สฺวภูติปฺราปฺติ: กึ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย น นฺยายฺยา?
Surely these things it was necessary for to suffer the Christ and to enter into the glory of Him?
27 ตต: ส มูสาคฺรนฺถมารภฺย สรฺวฺวภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ สรฺวฺวศาสฺเตฺร สฺวสฺมินฺ ลิขิตาขฺยานาภิปฺรายํ โพธยามาสฯ
And having begun from Moses and from all the Prophets (He interpreted *N+kO) to them in all the Scriptures the [things] concerning (of Himself. *NK+o)
28 อถ คมฺยคฺรามาภฺยรฺณํ ปฺราปฺย เตนาเคฺร คมนลกฺษเณ ทรฺศิเต
And they drew near to the village where they were going, and He himself (appeared *N+kO) farther to be going.
29 เตา สาธยิตฺวาวทตำ สหาวาภฺยำ ติษฺฐ ทิเน คเต สติ ราตฺริรภูตฺ; ตต: ส ตาภฺยำ สารฺทฺธํ สฺถาตุํ คฺฤหํ ยเยาฯ
And they constrained Him saying; do abide with us, for toward evening it is and has declined (now *no) the day. And He entered in to abide with them.
30 ปศฺจาทฺโภชโนปเวศกาเล ส ปูปํ คฺฤหีตฺวา อีศฺวรคุณานฺ ชคาท ตญฺจ ภํกฺตฺวา ตาภฺยำ ทเทาฯ
And it came to pass during the reclining of Him with them having taken the bread He blessed [it] and having broken [it] He was giving [it] to them.
31 ตทา ตโย รฺทฺฤษฺเฏา ปฺรสนฺนายำ ตํ ปฺรตฺยภิชฺญตุ: กินฺตุ ส ตโย: สากฺษาทนฺตรฺทเธฯ
Of them then were opened the eyes and they knew Him; And He himself vanished being seen from them.
32 ตตเสฺตา มิโถภิธาตุมฺ อารพฺธวนฺเตา คมนกาเล ยทา กถามกถยตฺ ศาสฺตฺรารฺถญฺจโพธยตฺ ตทาวโย รฺพุทฺธิ: กึ น ปฺราชฺวลตฺ?
And they said to one another; Surely the heart of us burning it was within us as He was speaking with us on the road (and *k) as He was opening to us the Scriptures?
33 เตา ตตฺกฺษณาทุตฺถาย ยิรูศาลมปุรํ ปฺรตฺยายยตุ: , ตตฺสฺถาเน ศิษฺยาณามฺ เอกาทศานำ สงฺคินาญฺจ ทรฺศนํ ชาตํฯ
And having risen up on [that] same hour they returned to Jerusalem and they found (gathered *N+kO) the eleven and those with them
34 เต โปฺรจุ: ปฺรภุรุทติษฺฐทฺ อิติ สตฺยํ ศิโมเน ทรฺศนมทาจฺจฯ
saying that Indeed has risen the Lord and He has appeared to Simon.
35 ตต: ปถ: สรฺวฺวฆฏนายา: ปูปภญฺชเนน ตตฺปริจยสฺย จ สรฺวฺววฺฤตฺตานฺตํ เตา วกฺตุมาเรภาเตฯ
And they themselves were relating the [things] on the road and how He was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
36 อิตฺถํ เต ปรสฺปรํ วทนฺติ ตตฺกาเล ยีศุ: สฺวยํ เตษำ มธฺย โปฺรตฺถย ยุษฺมากํ กลฺยาณํ ภูยาทฺ อิตฺยุวาจ,
These things now when they are telling He Himself (Jesus *K) stood in midst of them and says to them; Peace to you.
37 กินฺตุ ภูตํ ปศฺยาม อิตฺยนุมาย เต สมุทฺวิวิชิเร เตฺรษุศฺจฯ
Having been terrified however and filled with fear having been they were thinking [themselves] a spirit to see.
38 ส อุวาจ, กุโต ทุ: ขิตา ภวถ? ยุษฺมากํ มน: สุ สนฺเทห อุเทติ จ กุต: ?
And He said to them; Why troubled are you and through why doubts do come up in (the heart *N+kO) of you?
39 เอโษหํ, มม กเรา ปศฺยต วรํ สฺปฺฤษฺฏฺวา ปศฺยต, มม ยาทฺฤศานิ ปศฺยถ ตาทฺฤศานิ ภูตสฺย มำสาสฺถีนิ น สนฺติฯ
do see the hands of Me and the feet of Me that I myself am He himself; do touch Me and do see for a spirit flesh and bones not has even as Me myself you see having.
40 อิตฺยุกฺตฺวา ส หสฺตปาทานฺ ทรฺศยามาสฯ
And this having said (He showed *N+kO) to them the hands and the feet.
41 เต'สมฺภวํ ชฺญาตฺวา สานนฺทา น ปฺรตฺยยนฺฯ ตต: ส ตานฺ ปปฺรจฺฉ, อตฺร ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป ขาทฺยํ กิญฺจิทสฺติ?
Still now while are disbelieving they for the joy and amazement He said to them; Have you anything to eat here?
42 ตตเสฺต กิยทฺทคฺธมตฺสฺยํ มธุ จ ททุ:
And they gave to Him of a fish broiled part (and from honeycomb tablet. *KO)
43 ส ตทาทาย เตษำ สากฺษาทฺ พุภุเช
And having taken [it] before them He ate [it].
44 กถยามาส จ มูสาวฺยวสฺถายำ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ คฺรนฺเถษุ คีตปุสฺตเก จ มยิ ยานิ สรฺวฺวาณิ วจนานิ ลิขิตานิ ตทนุรูปาณิ ฆฏิษฺยนฺเต ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ สฺถิตฺวาหํ ยเทตทฺวากฺยมฺ อวทํ ตทิทานีํ ปฺรตฺยกฺษมภูตฺฯ
He said now (unto *no) (to them; *N+kO) These [are] the words (of mine *NO) which I spoke to you still being with you that it behooves to be fulfilled all things which written in the law of Moses and (in the *no) Prophets and in [the] Psalms concerning Me.
45 อถ เตภฺย: ศาสฺตฺรโพธาธิการํ ทตฺวาวทตฺ,
Then He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures
46 ขฺรีษฺเฏเนตฺถํ มฺฤติยาตนา โภกฺตวฺยา ตฺฤตียทิเน จ ศฺมศานาทุตฺถาตวฺยญฺเจติ ลิปิรสฺติ;
And He said to them that Thus it has been written (and thus it was necessary for *K) Was to suffer the Christ and to rise out from [the] dead on the third day
47 ตนฺนามฺนา ยิรูศาลมมารภฺย สรฺวฺวเทเศ มน: ปราวรฺตฺตนสฺย ปาปโมจนสฺย จ สุสํวาท: ปฺรจารยิตวฺย: ,
and to be proclaimed in the name of Him repentance (to *N+KO) forgiveness of sins to all nations (having begun *N+kO) from Jerusalem.
48 เอษุ สรฺเวฺวษุ ยูยํ สากฺษิณ: ฯ
You yourselves (now *k) (are *ko) witnesses of these things,
49 อปรญฺจ ปศฺยต ปิตฺรา ยตฺ ปฺรติชฺญาตํ ตตฺ เปฺรษยิษฺยามิ, อเตอว ยาวตฺกาลํ ยูยํ สฺวรฺคียำ ศกฺตึ น ปฺราปฺสฺยถ ตาวตฺกาลํ ยิรูศาลมฺนคเร ติษฺฐตฯ
And behold (I myself am sending *NK+o) the promise of the Father of Mine upon you. you yourselves however do remain in the city (Jerusalem *k) until that you may be clothed with from on high power.
50 อถ ส ตานฺ ไพถนียาปรฺยฺยนฺตํ นีตฺวา หสฺตาวุตฺโตลฺย อาศิษ วกฺตุมาเรเภ
He led now them out until (to *N+kO) Bethany, and having lifted up the hands of Him He blessed them.
51 อาศิษํ วทนฺเนว จ เตภฺย: ปฺฤถคฺ ภูตฺวา สฺวรฺคาย นีโต'ภวตฺฯ
And it came to pass during the blessing by Him them He was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.
52 ตทา เต ตํ ภชมานา มหานนฺเทน ยิรูศาลมํ ปฺรตฺยาชคฺมุ: ฯ
And they themselves having worshiped Him returned to Jerusalem with joy great
53 ตโต นิรนฺตรํ มนฺทิเร ติษฺฐนฺต อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรศํสำ ธนฺยวาทญฺจ กรฺตฺตมฺ อาเรภิเรฯ อิติ๚
and were (through *N+KO) (all [times] *N+kO) in the temple (praising and *KO) blessing God. (Amen *K)
