1 อไถกทา ยีศุ รฺมนิทเร สุสํวาทํ ปฺรจารยนฺ โลกานุปทิศติ, เอตรฺหิ ปฺรธานยาชกา อธฺยาปกา: ปฺราญฺจศฺจ ตนฺนิกฏมาคตฺย ปปฺรจฺฉุ:
And it came to pass on one of the days (of those *k) when is teaching He the people in the temple and evangelising came up the (chief priests *NK+o) and the scribes with the elders
2 กยาชฺญยา ตฺวํ กรฺมฺมาเณฺยตานิ กโรษิ? โก วา ตฺวามาชฺญาปยตฺ? ตทสฺมานฺ วทฯ
and spoke saying to Him: do tell us by what authority these things You do or who is the [one] having given to You authority this?
3 ส ปฺรตฺยุวาจ, ตรฺหิ ยุษฺมานปิ กถาเมกำ ปฺฤจฺฉามิ ตโสฺยตฺตรํ วทตฯ
Answering now He said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also (one *k) thing, and do tell Me:
4 โยหโน มชฺชนมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย มานุษาณำ วาชฺญาโต ชาตํ?
The baptism of John from heaven was it or from men?
5 ตตเสฺต มิโถ วิวิจฺย ชคทุ: , ยทีศฺวรสฺย วทามสฺตรฺหิ ตํ กุโต น ปฺรไตฺยต ส อิติ วกฺษฺยติฯ
And they reasoned among themselves saying that If we shall say: From heaven, He will say; Because of why (therefore *K) not did you believe in him?
6 ยทิ มนุษฺยเสฺยติ วทามสฺตรฺหิ สรฺเวฺว โลกา อสฺมานฺ ปาษาไณ รฺหนิษฺยนฺติ ยโต โยหนฺ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทีติ สรฺเวฺว ทฺฤฒํ ชานนฺติฯ
If however we shall say; From men, the people (all *N+kO) will stone us; persuaded for they are John a prophet to be.
7 อเตอว เต ปฺรตฺยูจุ: กสฺยาชฺญยา ชาตมฺ อิติ วกฺตุํ น ศกฺนุม: ฯ
And they answered not to know from where.
8 ตทา ยีศุรวทตฺ ตรฺหิ กยาชฺญยา กรฺมฺมาเณฺยตาติ กโรมีติ จ ยุษฺมานฺ น วกฺษฺยามิฯ
And Jesus said to them; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I am doing.
9 อถ โลกานำ สากฺษาตฺ ส อิมำ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตกถำ วกฺตุมาเรเภ, กศฺจิทฺ ทฺรากฺษากฺเษตฺรํ กฺฤตฺวา ตตฺ เกฺษตฺรํ กฺฤษีวลานำ หเสฺตษุ สมรฺปฺย พหุกาลารฺถํ ทูรเทศํ ชคามฯ
He began then to the people to speak parable this: A man (certain *NK) planted a vineyard and rented it to farmers and went abroad a time long.
10 อถ ผลกาเล ผลานิ คฺรหีตุ กฺฤษีวลานำ สมีเป ทาสํ ปฺราหิโณตฺ กินฺตุ กฺฤษีวลาสฺตํ ปฺรหฺฤตฺย ริกฺตหสฺตํ วิสสรฺชุ: ฯ
And (in *k) [in the] season he sent to the farmers a servant that from the fruit of the vineyard (they will give *N+kO) to him; But the farmers sent away him having beaten [him] empty-handed.
11 ตต: โสธิปติ: ปุนรนฺยํ ทาสํ เปฺรษยามาส, เต ตมปิ ปฺรหฺฤตฺย กุวฺยวหฺฤตฺย ริกฺตหสฺตํ วิสสฺฤชุ: ฯ
And he proceeded another to send a servant; but him him having beaten and having dishonored they sent away empty-handed.
12 ตต: ส ตฺฤตียวารมฺ อนฺยํ ปฺราหิโณตฺ เต ตมปิ กฺษตางฺคํ กฺฤตฺวา พหิ รฺนิจิกฺษิปุ: ฯ
And he proceeded a third to send; They then also him having wounded they cast out.
13 ตทา เกฺษตฺรปติ รฺวิจารยามาส, มเมทานีํ กึ กรฺตฺตวฺยํ? มม ปฺริเย ปุเตฺร ปฺรหิเต เต ตมวศฺยํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา สมาทริษฺยนฺเตฯ
Said then the master of the vineyard; What shall I do? I will send the son of mine the beloved; perhaps him (having seen *K) they will respect.
14 กินฺตุ กฺฤษีวลาสฺตํ นิรีกฺษฺย ปรสฺปรํ วิวิจฺย โปฺรจุ: , อยมุตฺตราธิการี อาคจฺฉไตนํ หนฺมสฺตโตธิกาโรสฺมากํ ภวิษฺยติฯ
Having seen now him the farmers were reasoning among (one another *N+kO) saying; This is the heir; (come *K) let us kill him so that ours may become the inheritance.
15 ตตเสฺต ตํ เกฺษตฺราทฺ พหิ รฺนิปาตฺย ชฆฺนุสฺตสฺมาตฺ ส เกฺษตฺรปติสฺตานฺ ปฺรติ กึ กริษฺยติ?
And having cast forth him outside the vineyard they killed [him]. What therefore will do to them the master of the vineyard?
16 ส อาคตฺย ตานฺ กฺฤษีวลานฺ หตฺวา ปเรษำ หเสฺตษุ ตตฺกฺเษตฺรํ สมรฺปยิษฺยติ; อิติ กถำ ศฺรุตฺวา เต 'วทนฺ เอตาทฺฤศี ฆฏนา น ภวตุฯ
He will come and he will destroy farmers these and will give the vineyard to others. Having heard [it] then they said; Never would it be!
17 กินฺตุ ยีศุสฺตานวโลกฺย ชคาท, ตรฺหิ, สฺถปตย: กริษฺยนฺติ คฺราวาณํ ยนฺตุ ตุจฺฉกํฯ ปฺรธานปฺรสฺตร: โกเณ ส เอว หิ ภวิษฺยติฯ เอตสฺย ศาสฺตฺรียวจนสฺย กึ ตาตฺปรฺยฺยํ?
But having looked at them He said; What then is that written this: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become into [the] head of [the] corner’?
18 อปรํ ตตฺปาษาโณปริ ย: ปติษฺยติ ส ภํกฺษฺยเต กินฺตุ ยโสฺยปริ ส ปาษาณ: ปติษฺยติ ส เตน ธูลิวจฺ จูรฺณีภวิษฺยติฯ
Everyone falling on that [very] stone will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind into powder him.
19 โสสฺมากํ วิรุทฺธํ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตมิมํ กถิตวานฺ อิติ ชฺญาตฺวา ปฺรธานยาชกา อธฺยาปกาศฺจ ตไทว ตํ ธรฺตุํ ววาญฺฉุ: กินฺตุ โลเกโภฺย พิภฺยุ: ฯ
And sought the scribes and the chief priests to lay on Him hands in that hour and they feared the people; they perceived for that against them He was speaking parable this.
20 อเตอว ตํ ปฺรติ สตรฺกา: สนฺต: กถํ ตทฺวากฺยโทษํ ธฺฤตฺวา ตํ เทศาธิปสฺย สาธุเวศธาริณศฺจรานฺ ตสฺย สมีเป เปฺรษยามาสุ: ฯ
And having watched [Him] they sent spies feigning themselves righteous to be, that they may catch Him in talk, (in order *N+kO) to deliver Him to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
21 ตทา เต ตํ ปปฺรจฺฉุ: , เห อุปเทศก ภวานฺ ยถารฺถํ กถยนฺ อุปทิศติ, กมปฺยนเปกฺษฺย สตฺยเตฺวไนศฺวรํ มารฺคมุปทิศติ, วยเมตชฺชานีม: ฯ
And they questioned Him saying; Teacher, we know that rightly You speak and You teach and not You receive [any] person but on the basis of truth the way of God teach.
22 ไกสรราชาย กโรสฺมาภิ เรฺทโย น วา?
Is it lawful (for us *N+kO) to Caesar tribute to give or not?
23 ส เตษำ วญฺจนํ ชฺญาตฺวาวทตฺ กุโต มำ ปรีกฺษเธฺว? มำ มุทฺราเมกํ ทรฺศยตฯ
having perceived however of them the craftiness He said to them (why *KO) (me do you test; *K)
24 อิห ลิขิตา มูรฺติริยํ นาม จ กสฺย? เต'วทนฺ ไกสรสฺยฯ
(do show *N+kO) Me a denarius; Of whom has it [the] image and inscription? (Those *N+KO) And they said; Caesar’s.
25 ตทา ส อุวาจ, ตรฺหิ ไกสรสฺย ทฺรวฺยํ ไกสราย ทตฺต; อีศฺวรสฺย ตุ ทฺรวฺยมีศฺวราย ทตฺตฯ
And He said (to *no) (them; *N+kO) Therefore do give back the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
26 ตสฺมาโลฺลกานำ สากฺษาตฺ ตตฺกถายา: กมปิ โทษํ ธรฺตุมปฺราปฺย เต ตโสฺยตฺตราทฺ อาศฺจรฺยฺยํ มนฺยมานา เมานินสฺตสฺถุ: ฯ
And not they were able to catch Him in (His *NK+o) declaration before the people, and having marveled at the answer of Him they became silent.
27 อปรญฺจ ศฺมศานาทุตฺถานานงฺคีการิณำ สิทูกินำ กิยนฺโต ชนา อาคตฺย ตํ ปปฺรจฺฉุ: ,
Having approached then some of the Sadducees, the ones (denying *NK+o) a resurrection not being, they questioned Him
28 เห อุปเทศก ศาสฺเตฺร มูสา อสฺมานฺ ปฺรตีติ ลิเลข ยสฺย ภฺราตา ภารฺยฺยายำ สตฺยำ นิ: สนฺตาโน มฺริยเต ส ตชฺชายำ วิวหฺย ตทฺวํศมฺ อุตฺปาทยิษฺยติฯ
saying; Teacher, Moses wrote to us: if anyone’s brother shall die having a wife and he childless (shall be, *N+KO) that shall take the brother of him the wife and shall raise up seed to the brother of him.
29 ตถาจ เกจิตฺ สปฺต ภฺราตร อาสนฺ เตษำ เชฺยษฺโฐ ภฺราตา วิวหฺย นิรปตฺย: ปฺราณานฺ ชเหาฯ
Seven therefore brothers there were; and the first having taken a wife died childless,
30 อถ ทฺวิตียสฺตสฺย ชายำ วิวหฺย นิรปตฺย: สนฺ มมารฯ ตฺฤตียศฺจ ตาเมว วฺยุวาห;
and (took *K) the second (wife and this died childless *K)
31 อิตฺถํ สปฺต ภฺราตรสฺตาเมว วิวหฺย นิรปตฺยา: สนฺโต มมฺรุ: ฯ
and the third took her (likewise *o) likewise then also the seven not did leave children and died.
32 เศเษ สา สฺตฺรี จ มมารฯ
Finally (now of all *K) also the woman died.
33 อเตอว ศฺมศานาทุตฺถานกาเล เตษำ สปฺตชนานำ กสฺย สา ภารฺยฺยา ภวิษฺยติ? ยต: สา เตษำ สปฺตานาเมว ภารฺยฺยาสีตฺฯ
(The woman *no) therefore in the resurrection, of which of them does she become wife? For the seven had her as wife.
And (answering *k) said to them Jesus; The sons of the age this marry and (are given in marriage, *N+kO) (aiōn g165)
35 กินฺตุ เย ตชฺชคตฺปฺราปฺติโยคฺยเตฺวน คณิตำ ภวิษฺยนฺติ ศฺมศานาจฺโจตฺถาสฺยนฺติ เต น วิวหนฺติ วาคฺทตฺตาศฺจ น ภวนฺติ, (aiōn g165)
those however having been considered worthy of the age that [one] to obtain and of the resurrection from [the] dead neither marry nor (are given in marriage; *N+k+o) (aiōn g165)
36 เต ปุน รฺน มฺริยนฺเต กินฺตุ ศฺมศานาทุตฺถาปิตา: สนฺต อีศฺวรสฺย สนฺตานา: สฺวรฺคียทูตานำ สทฺฤศาศฺจ ภวนฺติฯ
(neither *N+kO) for to die any more are they able, like [the] angels for they are, and sons they are of God of the resurrection sons being.
37 อธิกนฺตุ มูสา: สฺตมฺโพปาขฺยาเน ปรเมศฺวร อีพฺราหีม อีศฺวร อิสฺหาก อีศฺวโร ยากูพศฺเจศฺวร อิตฺยุกฺตฺวา มฺฤตานำ ศฺมศานาทฺ อุตฺถานสฺย ปฺรมาณํ ลิเลขฯ
for however are raised the dead, even Moses showed at the bush when he names [the] Lord the God of Abraham and (the *k) God of Isaac and (the *k) God of Jacob.’
38 อเตอว ย อีศฺวร: ส มฺฤตานำ ปฺรภุ รฺน กินฺตุ ชีวตาเมว ปฺรภุ: , ตนฺนิกเฏ สรฺเวฺว ชีวนฺต: สนฺติฯ
God now not He is of [the] dead but of [the] living; all for to Him live.
39 อิติ ศฺรุตฺวา กิยนฺโตธฺยาปกา อูจุ: , เห อุปเทศก ภวานฺ ภทฺรํ ปฺรตฺยุกฺตวานฺฯ
Answering now some of the scribes said; Teacher, well you have spoken.
40 อิต: ปรํ ตํ กิมปิ ปฺรษฺฏํ เตษำ ปฺรคลฺภตา นาภูตฺฯ
no longer no longer (then *N+kO) were they daring to ask Him no [thing].
41 ปศฺจาตฺ ส ตานฺ อุวาจ, ย: ขฺรีษฺฏ: ส ทายูท: สนฺตาน เอตำ กถำ โลกา: กถํ กถยนฺติ?
He said then to them; How do they declare the Christ to be David's Son
42 ยต: มม ปฺรภุมิทํ วากฺยมวทตฺ ปรเมศฺวร: ฯ ตว ศตฺรูนหํ ยาวตฺ ปาทปีฐํ กโรมิ นฯ ตาวตฺ กาลํ มทีเย ตฺวํ ทกฺษปารฺศฺว อุปาวิศฯ
(and *ko) Himself (for *no) David says in [the] book of Psalms: Said (the *ko) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit at [the] right hand of Me
43 อิติ กถำ ทายูทฺ สฺวยํ คีตคฺรนฺเถ'วทตฺฯ
until when I may place the enemies of You [as] a footstool of the feet of You.
44 อเตอว ยทิ ทายูทฺ ตํ ปฺรภุํ วทติ, ตรฺหิ ส กถํ ตสฺย สนฺตาโน ภวติ?
David therefore Lord Him calls, and how of him son is He?
45 ปศฺจาทฺ ยีศุ: สรฺวฺวชนานำ กรฺณโคจเร ศิษฺยานุวาจ,
When are listening now all the people He said to the disciples of Him;
46 เย'ธฺยาปกา ทีรฺฆปริจฺฉทํ ปริธาย ภฺรมนฺติ, หฏฺฏาปณโย รฺนมสฺกาเร ภชนเคหสฺย โปฺรจฺจาสเน โภชนคฺฤหสฺย ปฺรธานสฺถาเน จ ปฺรียนฺเต
do beware of the scribes who are desiring to walk in long robes and loving greetings in the marketplaces and first seats in the synagogues and first places in the banquets,
47 วิธวานำ สรฺวฺวสฺวํ คฺรสิตฺวา ฉเลน ทีรฺฆกาลํ ปฺรารฺถยนฺเต จ เตษุ สาวธานา ภวต, เตษามุคฺรทณฺโฑ ภวิษฺยติฯ
who devour the houses of widows and as a pretext at great length pray; These will receive more excessive condemnation.
