๒ ตีมถิย: 4

1 อีศฺวรสฺย โคจเร ยศฺจ ยีศุ: ขฺรีษฺฏ: สฺวียาคมนกาเล สฺวราชเตฺวน ชีวตำ มฺฤตานาญฺจ โลกานำ วิจารํ กริษฺยติ ตสฺย โคจเร 'หํ ตฺวามฺ อิทํ ทฺฤฒมฺ อาชฺญาปยามิฯ

I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:

2 ตฺวํ วากฺยํ โฆษย กาเล'กาเล โจตฺสุโก ภว ปูรฺณยา สหิษฺณุตยา ศิกฺษยา จ โลกานฺ ปฺรโพธย ภรฺตฺสย วินยสฺว จฯ

preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.

3 ยต เอตาทฺฤศ: สมย อายาติ ยสฺมินฺ โลกา ยถารฺถมฺ อุปเทศมฺ อสหฺยมานา: กรฺณกณฺฑูยนวิศิษฺฏา ภูตฺวา นิชาภิลาษาตฺ ศิกฺษกานฺ สํคฺรหีษฺยนฺติ

For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,

4 สตฺยมตาจฺจ โศฺรตฺราณิ นิวรฺตฺตฺย วิปถคามิโน ภูโตฺวปาขฺยาเนษุ ปฺรวรฺตฺติษฺยนฺเต;

and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables.

5 กินฺตุ ตฺวํ สรฺวฺววิษเย ปฺรพุทฺโธ ภว ทุ: ขโภคํ สฺวีกุรุ สุสํวาทปฺรจารกสฺย กรฺมฺม สาธย นิชปริจรฺยฺยำ ปูรฺณเตฺวน กุรุ จฯ

But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfil your ministry.

6 มม ปฺราณานามฺ อุตฺสรฺโค ภวติ มม ปฺรสฺถานกาลศฺโจปาติษฺฐตฺฯ

For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.

7 อหมฺ อุตฺตมยุทฺธํ กฺฤตวานฺ คนฺตวฺยมารฺคสฺยานฺตํ ยาวทฺ ธาวิตวานฺ วิศฺวาสญฺจ รกฺษิตวานฺฯ

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

8 เศษํ ปุณฺยมุกุฏํ มทรฺถํ รกฺษิตํ วิทฺยเต ตจฺจ ตสฺมินฺ มหาทิเน ยถารฺถวิจารเกณ ปฺรภุนา มหฺยํ ทายิษฺยเต เกวลํ มหฺยมฺ อิติ นหิ กินฺตุ ยาวนฺโต โลกาสฺตสฺยาคมนมฺ อากางฺกฺษนฺเต เตภฺย: สรฺเวฺวโภฺย 'ปิ ทายิษฺยเตฯ

From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

9 ตฺวํ ตฺวรยา มตฺสมีปมฺ อาคนฺตุํ ยตสฺว,

Be diligent to come to me soon,

10 ยโต ทีมา ไอหิกสํสารมฺ อีหมาโน มำ ปริตฺยชฺย ถิษลนีกีํ คตวานฺ ตถา กฺรีษฺกิ รฺคาลาติยำ คตวานฺ ตีตศฺจ ทาลฺมาติยำ คตวานฺฯ (aiōn g165)

for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia; and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

11 เกวโล ลูโก มยา สารฺทฺธํ วิทฺยเตฯ ตฺวํ มารฺกํ สงฺคินํ กฺฤตฺวาคจฺฉ ยต: ส ปริจรฺยฺยยา มโมปการี ภวิษฺยติ,

Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.

12 ตุขิกญฺจาหมฺ อิผิษนครํ เปฺรษิตวานฺฯ

But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

13 ยทฺ อาจฺฉาทนวสฺตฺรํ โตฺรยานคเร การฺปสฺย สนฺนิเธา มยา นิกฺษิปฺตํ ตฺวมาคมนสมเย ตตฺ ปุสฺตกานิ จ วิเศษตศฺจรฺมฺมคฺรนฺถานฺ อานยฯ

Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.

14 กำสฺยการ: สิกนฺทโร มม พหฺวนิษฺฏํ กฺฤตวานฺ ปฺรภุสฺตสฺย กรฺมฺมณำ สมุจิตผลํ ททาตุฯ

Alexander the coppersmith did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.

15 ตฺวมปิ ตสฺมาตฺ สาวธานาสฺติษฺฐ ยต: โส'สฺมากํ วากฺยานามฺ อตีว วิปกฺโษ ชาต: ฯ

Beware of him, for he greatly opposed our words.

16 มม ปฺรถมปฺรตฺยุตฺตรสมเย โก'ปิ มม สหาโย นาภวตฺ สรฺเวฺว มำ ปรฺยฺยตฺยชนฺ ตานฺ ปฺรติ ตสฺย โทษสฺย คณนา น ภูยาตฺ;

At my first defence, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.

17 กินฺตุ ปฺรภุ รฺมม สหาโย 'ภวตฺ ยถา จ มยา โฆษณา สาเธฺยต ภินฺนชาตียาศฺจ สรฺเวฺว สุสํวาทํ ศฺฤณุยุสฺตถา มหฺยํ ศกฺติมฺ อททาตฺ ตโต 'หํ สึหสฺย มุขาทฺ อุทฺธฺฤต: ฯ

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear. So I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18 อปรํ สรฺวฺวสฺมาทฺ ทุษฺกรฺมฺมต: ปฺรภุ รฺมามฺ อุทฺธริษฺยติ นิชสฺวรฺคียราชฺยํ เนตุํ มำ ตารยิษฺยติ จฯ ตสฺย ธนฺยวาท: สทากาลํ ภูยาตฺฯ อาเมนฺฯ (aiōn g165)

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

19 ตฺวํ ปฺริษฺกามฺ อากฺกิลมฺ อนีษิผรสฺย ปริชนำศฺจ นมสฺกุรุฯ

Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.

20 อิราสฺต: กรินฺถนคเร 'ติษฺฐตฺ ตฺรผิมศฺจ ปีฑิตตฺวาตฺ มิลีตนคเร มยา วฺยหียตฯ

Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus at Miletus sick.

21 ตฺวํ เหมนฺตกาลาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อาคนฺตุํ ยตสฺวฯ อุพูล: ปูทิ รฺลีน: เกฺลาทิยา สรฺเวฺว ภฺราตรศฺจ ตฺวำ นมสฺกุรฺวฺวเตฯ

Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.

22 ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺตวาตฺมนา สห ภูยาตฺฯ ยุษฺมาสฺวนุคฺรโห ภูยาตฺฯ อาเมนฺฯ
