๒ กรินฺถิน: 4
1 อปรญฺจ วยํ กรุณาภาโช ภูตฺวา ยทฺ เอตตฺ ปริจารกปทมฺ อลภามหิ นาตฺร กฺลามฺยาม: ,
Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2 กินฺตุ ตฺรปายุกฺตานิ ปฺรจฺฉนฺนกรฺมฺมาณิ วิหาย กุฏิลตาจรณมกุรฺวฺวนฺต อีศฺวรียวากฺยํ มิถฺยาวาไกฺยรมิศฺรยนฺต: สตฺยธรฺมฺมสฺย ปฺรกาศเนเนศฺวรสฺย สากฺษาตฺ สรฺวฺวมานวานำ สํเวทโคจเร สฺวานฺ ปฺรศํสนียานฺ ทรฺศยาม: ฯ
But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 อสฺมาภิ โรฺฆษิต: สุสํวาโท ยทิ ปฺรจฺฉนฺน: ; สฺยาตฺ ตรฺหิ เย วินํกฺษฺยนฺติ เตษาเมว ทฺฤษฺฏิต: ส ปฺรจฺฉนฺน: ;
Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
4 ยต อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรติมูรฺตฺติ รฺย: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺตสฺย เตชส: สุสํวาทสฺย ปฺรภา ยตฺ ตานฺ น ทีปเยตฺ ตทรฺถมฺ อิห โลกสฺย เทโว'วิศฺวาสินำ ชฺญานนยนมฺ อนฺธีกฺฤตวานฺ เอตโสฺยทาหรณํ เต ภวนฺติฯ (aiōn g165)
in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. (aiōn g165)
5 วยํ สฺวานฺ โฆษยาม อิติ นหิ กินฺตุ ขฺรีษฺฏํ ยีศุํ ปฺรภุเมวาสฺมำศฺจ ยีโศ: กฺฤเต ยุษฺมากํ ปริจารกานฺ โฆษยาม: ฯ
For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
6 ย อีศฺวโร มเธฺยติมิรํ ปฺรภำ ทีปนายาทิศตฺ ส ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺยาสฺย อีศฺวรียเตชโส ชฺญานปฺรภายา อุทยารฺถมฺ อสฺมากมฺ อนฺต: กรเณษุ ทีปิตวานฺฯ
seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 อปรํ ตทฺ ธนมฺ อสฺมาภิ รฺมฺฤณฺมเยษุ ภาชเนษุ ธารฺยฺยเต ยต: สาทฺภุตา ศกฺติ รฺนาสฺมากํ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรไสฺยเวติ ชฺญาตวฺยํฯ
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
8 วยํ ปเท ปเท ปีฑฺยามเห กินฺตุ นาวสีทาม: , วยํ วฺยากุลา: สนฺโต'ปิ นิรุปายา น ภวาม: ;
We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9 วยํ ปฺรทฺราวฺยมานา อปิ น กฺลามฺยาม: , นิปาติตา อปิ น วินศฺยาม: ฯ
pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10 อสฺมากํ ศรีเร ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ชีวนํ ยตฺ ปฺรกาเศต ตทรฺถํ ตสฺมินฺ ศรีเร ยีโศ รฺมรณมปิ ธารยาม: ฯ
always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 ยีโศ รฺชีวนํ ยทฺ อสฺมากํ มรฺตฺตฺยเทเห ปฺรกาเศต ตทรฺถํ ชีวนฺโต วยํ ยีโศ: กฺฤเต นิตฺยํ มฺฤเตฺยา สมรฺปฺยามเหฯ
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12 อิตฺถํ วยํ มฺฤตฺยากฺรานฺตา ยูยญฺจ ชีวนากฺรานฺตา: ฯ
So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 วิศฺวาสการณาเทว สมภาษิ มยา วจ: ฯ อิติ ยถา ศาสฺเตฺร ลิขิตํ ตไถวาสฺมาภิรปิ วิศฺวาสชนกมฺ อาตฺมานํ ปฺราปฺย วิศฺวาส: กฺริยเต ตสฺมาจฺจ วจำสิ ภาษฺยนฺเตฯ
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,
14 ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุ เรฺยโนตฺถาปิต: ส ยีศุนาสฺมานปฺยุตฺถาปยิษฺยติ ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ สฺวสมีป อุปสฺถาปยิษฺยติ จ, วยมฺ เอตตฺ ชานีม: ฯ
knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
15 อเตอว ยุษฺมากํ หิตาย สรฺวฺวเมว ภวติ ตสฺมาทฺ พหูนำ ปฺรจุรานุคฺรหปฺราปฺเต รฺพหุโลกานำ ธนฺยวาเทเนศฺวรสฺย มหิมา สมฺยกฺ ปฺรกาศิษฺยเตฯ
For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16 ตโต เหโต รฺวยํ น กฺลามฺยาม: กินฺตุ พาหฺยปุรุโษ ยทฺยปิ กฺษียเต ตถาปฺยานฺตริก: ปุรุโษ ทิเน ทิเน นูตนายเตฯ
Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
17 กฺษณมาตฺรสฺถายิ ยเทตตฺ ลฆิษฺฐํ ทุ: ขํ ตทฺ อติพาหุเลฺยนาสฺมากมฺ อนนฺตกาลสฺถายิ คริษฺฐสุขํ สาธยติ, (aiōnios g166)
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, (aiōnios g166)
18 ยโต วยํ ปฺรตฺยกฺษานฺ วิษยานฺ อนุทฺทิศฺยาปฺรตฺยกฺษานฺ อุทฺทิศาม: ฯ ยโต เหโต: ปฺรตฺยกฺษวิษยา: กฺษณมาตฺรสฺถายิน: กินฺตฺวปฺรตฺยกฺษา อนนฺตกาลสฺถายิน: ฯ (aiōnios g166)
while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
