1 తీమథియః 6

1 యావన్తో లోకా యుగధారిణో దాసాః సన్తి తే స్వస్వస్వామినం పూర్ణసమాదరయోగ్యం మన్యన్తాం నో చేద్ ఈశ్వరస్య నామ్న ఉపదేశస్య చ నిన్దా సమ్భవిష్యతి|

Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed.

2 యేషాఞ్చ స్వామినో విశ్వాసినః భవన్తి తైస్తే భ్రాతృత్వాత్ నావజ్ఞేయాః కిన్తు తే కర్మ్మఫలభోగినో విశ్వాసినః ప్రియాశ్చ భవన్తీతి హేతోః సేవనీయా ఏవ, త్వమ్ ఏతాని శిక్షయ సముపదిశ చ|

And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but let them serve them the rather, because they that partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things teach and exhort.

3 యః కశ్చిద్ ఇతరశిక్షాం కరోతి, అస్మాకం ప్రభో ర్యీశుఖ్రీష్టస్య హితవాక్యానీశ్వరభక్తే ర్యోగ్యాం శిక్షాఞ్చ న స్వీకరోతి

If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

4 స దర్పధ్మాతః సర్వ్వథా జ్ఞానహీనశ్చ వివాదై ర్వాగ్యుద్ధైశ్చ రోగయుక్తశ్చ భవతి|

he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

5 తాదృశాద్ భావాద్ ఈర్ష్యావిరోధాపవాదదుష్టాసూయా భ్రష్టమనసాం సత్యజ్ఞానహీనానామ్ ఈశ్వరభక్తిం లాభోపాయమ్ ఇవ మన్యమానానాం లోకానాం వివాదాశ్చ జాయన్తే తాదృశేభ్యో లోకేభ్యస్త్వం పృథక్ తిష్ఠ|

wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.

6 సంయతేచ్ఛయా యుక్తా యేశ్వరభక్తిః సా మహాలాభోపాయో భవతీతి సత్యం|

But godliness with contentment is great gain:

7 ఏతజ్జగత్ప్రవేశనకాలేఽస్మాభిః కిమపి నానాయి తత్తయజనకాలేఽపి కిమపి నేతుం న శక్ష్యత ఇతి నిశ్చితం|

for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out;

8 అతఏవ ఖాద్యాన్యాచ్ఛాదనాని చ ప్రాప్యాస్మాభిః సన్తుష్టై ర్భవితవ్యం|

but having food and covering we shall be therewith content.

9 యే తు ధనినో భవితుం చేష్టన్తే తే పరీక్షాయామ్ ఉన్మాథే పతన్తి యే చాభిలాషా మానవాన్ వినాశే నరకే చ మజ్జయన్తి తాదృశేష్వజ్ఞానాహితాభిలాషేష్వపి పతన్తి|

But they that desire to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 యతోఽర్థస్పృహా సర్వ్వేషాం దురితానాం మూలం భవతి తామవలమ్బ్య కేచిద్ విశ్వాసాద్ అభ్రంశన్త నానాక్లేశైశ్చ స్వాన్ అవిధ్యన్|

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 హే ఈశ్వరస్య లోక త్వమ్ ఏతేభ్యః పలాయ్య ధర్మ్మ ఈశ్వరభక్తి ర్విశ్వాసః ప్రేమ సహిష్ణుతా క్షాన్తిశ్చైతాన్యాచర|

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 విశ్వాసరూపమ్ ఉత్తమయుద్ధం కురు, అనన్తజీవనమ్ ఆలమ్బస్వ యతస్తదర్థం త్వమ్ ఆహూతో ఽభవః, బహుసాక్షిణాం సమక్షఞ్చోత్తమాం ప్రతిజ్ఞాం స్వీకృతవాన్| (aiōnios g166)

Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)

13 అపరం సర్వ్వేషాం జీవయితురీశ్వరస్య సాక్షాద్ యశ్చ ఖ్రీష్టో యీశుః పన్తీయపీలాతస్య సమక్షమ్ ఉత్తమాం ప్రతిజ్ఞాం స్వీకృతవాన్ తస్య సాక్షాద్ అహం త్వామ్ ఇదమ్ ఆజ్ఞాపయామి|

I charge thee in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and of Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession;

14 ఈశ్వరేణ స్వసమయే ప్రకాశితవ్యమ్ అస్మాకం ప్రభో ర్యీశుఖ్రీష్టస్యాగమనం యావత్ త్వయా నిష్కలఙ్కత్వేన నిర్ద్దోషత్వేన చ విధీ రక్ష్యతాం|

that thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15 స ఈశ్వరః సచ్చిదానన్దః, అద్వితీయసమ్రాట్, రాజ్ఞాం రాజా, ప్రభూనాం ప్రభుః,

which in its own times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 అమరతాయా అద్వితీయ ఆకరః, అగమ్యతేజోనివాసీ, మర్త్త్యానాం కేనాపి న దృష్టః కేనాపి న దృశ్యశ్చ| తస్య గౌరవపరాక్రమౌ సదాతనౌ భూయాస్తాం| ఆమేన్| (aiōnios g166)

who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power eternal. Amen. (aiōnios g166)

17 ఇహలోకే యే ధనినస్తే చిత్తసమున్నతిం చపలే ధనే విశ్వాసఞ్చ న కుర్వ్వతాం కిన్తు భోగార్థమ్ అస్మభ్యం ప్రచురత్వేన సర్వ్వదాతా (aiōn g165)

Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)

18 యోఽమర ఈశ్వరస్తస్మిన్ విశ్వసన్తు సదాచారం కుర్వ్వన్తు సత్కర్మ్మధనేన ధనినో సుకలా దాతారశ్చ భవన్తు,

that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 యథా చ సత్యం జీవనం పాప్నుయుస్తథా పారత్రికామ్ ఉత్తమసమ్పదం సఞ్చిన్వన్త్వేతి త్వయాదిశ్యన్తాం|

laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is [life] indeed.

20 హే తీమథియ, త్వమ్ ఉపనిధిం గోపయ కాల్పనికవిద్యాయా అపవిత్రం ప్రలాపం విరోధోక్తిఞ్చ త్యజ చ,

O Timothy, guard that which is committed unto [thee], turning away from the profane babblings and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called;

21 యతః కతిపయా లోకాస్తాం విద్యామవలమ్బ్య విశ్వాసాద్ భ్రష్టా అభవన| ప్రసాదస్తవ సహాయో భూయాత్| ఆమేన్|

which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you.
