1 அநந்தரம்’ யீஸு²: புந ர்ப⁴ஜநக்³ரு’ஹம்’ ப்ரவிஷ்டஸ்தஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே ஸு²ஷ்கஹஸ்த ஏகோ மாநவ ஆஸீத்|
And he entered again into a synagogue, and there-was there, a man having, his hand, withered;
2 ஸ விஸ்²ராமவாரே தமரோகி³ணம்’ கரிஷ்யதி நவேத்யத்ர ப³ஹவஸ்தம் அபவதி³தும்’ சி²த்³ரமபேக்ஷிதவந்த: |
and they were narrowly watching him, whether, on the Sabbath, he would cure him, that they might accuse him.
3 ததா³ ஸ தம்’ ஸு²ஷ்கஹஸ்தம்’ மநுஷ்யம்’ ஜகா³த³ மத்⁴யஸ்தா²நே த்வமுத்திஷ்ட²|
And he saith unto the man who hath his hand withered, Arise into the midst!
4 தத: பரம்’ ஸ தாந் பப்ரச்ச² விஸ்²ராமவாரே ஹிதமஹிதம்’ ததா² ஹி ப்ராணரக்ஷா வா ப்ராணநாஸ² ஏஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே கிம்’ கரணீயம்’? கிந்து தே நி: ஸ²ப்³தா³ஸ்தஸ்து²: |
and saith unto them—Is it allowed, on the Sabbath, to do good, or to do evil? To, save, life, or, to slay? but they remained silent.
5 ததா³ ஸ தேஷாமந்த: கரணாநாம்’ காடி²ந்யாத்³தே⁴தோ ர்து³: கி²த: க்ரோதா⁴த் சர்துத³ஸோ² த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் தம்’ மாநுஷம்’ க³தி³தவாந் தம்’ ஹஸ்தம்’ விஸ்தாரய, ததஸ்தேந ஹஸ்தே விஸ்த்ரு’தே தத்³த⁴ஸ்தோ(அ)ந்யஹஸ்தவத்³ அரோகோ³ ஜாத: |
And, looking round upon them with anger, being at the same time grieved on account of the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man—Stretch forth thy hand! and he stretched it forth, and his hand, was restored.
6 அத² பி²ரூஸி²ந: ப்ரஸ்தா²ய தம்’ நாஸ²யிதும்’ ஹேரோதீ³யை: ஸஹ மந்த்ரயிதுமாரேபி⁴ரே|
And, the Pharisees, going out straightway with the Herodians, were giving counsel against him, that they should, destroy, him.
7 அதஏவ யீஸு²ஸ்தத்ஸ்தா²நம்’ பரித்யஜ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யை: ஸஹ புந: ஸாக³ரஸமீபம்’ க³த: ;
And, Jesus, with his disciples, retired unto the sea; and, a great throng from Galilee, followed, also from Judaea,
8 ததோ கா³லீல்யிஹூதா³-யிரூஸா²லம்-இதோ³ம்-யர்த³ந்நதீ³பாரஸ்தா²நேப்⁴யோ லோகஸமூஹஸ்தஸ்ய பஸ்²சாத்³ க³த: ; தத³ந்ய: ஸோரஸீத³நோ: ஸமீபவாஸிலோகஸமூஹஸ்²ச தஸ்ய மஹாகர்ம்மணாம்’ வார்த்தம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தஸ்ய ஸந்நிதி⁴மாக³த: |
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Zidon, a great throng, hearing whatsoever things he was doing, came unto him.
9 ததா³ லோகஸமூஹஸ்²சேத் தஸ்யோபரி பததி இத்யாஸ²ங்க்ய ஸ நாவமேகாம்’ நிகடே ஸ்தா²பயிதும்’ ஸி²ஷ்யாநாதி³ஷ்டவாந்|
And he spake unto his disciples that a little boat might attend him, because of the multitude, —that they might not be pressing upon him.
10 யதோ(அ)நேகமநுஷ்யாணாமாரோக்³யகரணாத்³ வ்யாதி⁴க்³ரஸ்தா: ஸர்வ்வே தம்’ ஸ்ப்ரஷ்டும்’ பரஸ்பரம்’ ப³லேந யத்நவந்த: |
For he cured many, so that they were besieging him, that they might touch him—as many as had plagues;
11 அபரஞ்ச அபவித்ரபூ⁴தாஸ்தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தச்சரணயோ: பதித்வா ப்ரோசை: ப்ரோசு: , த்வமீஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ர: |
and the impure spirits, as soon as they beheld him, were falling down to him, and crying aloud, while he was speaking, Thou, art the Son of God!
12 கிந்து ஸ தாந் த்³ரு’ட⁴ம் ஆஜ்ஞாப்ய ஸ்வம்’ பரிசாயிதும்’ நிஷித்³த⁴வாந்|
and sternly was he rebuking them, lest they should make him manifest.
13 அநந்தரம்’ ஸ பர்வ்வதமாருஹ்ய யம்’ யம்’ ப்ரதிச்சா² தம்’ தமாஹூதவாந் ததஸ்தே தத்ஸமீபமாக³தா: |
And he goeth up into the mountain and calleth near whom, he, pleased, —and they went away unto him;
14 ததா³ ஸ த்³வாத³ஸ²ஜநாந் ஸ்வேந ஸஹ ஸ்தா²தும்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ப்ரசாராய ப்ரேரிதா ப⁴விதும்’
and he appointed a twelve, whom also he named, Apostles, —that they might be with him, and that he might be sending them forth to make proclamation,
15 ஸர்வ்வப்ரகாரவ்யாதீ⁴நாம்’ ஸ²மநகரணாய ப்ரபா⁴வம்’ ப்ராப்தும்’ பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயிதுஞ்ச நியுக்தவாந்|
and to have authority to cast out the demons;
16 தேஷாம்’ நாமாநீமாநி, ஸி²மோந் ஸிவதி³புத்ரோ
and he appointed the twelve (and imposed a name on Simon—) Peter,
17 யாகூப்³ தஸ்ய ப்⁴ராதா யோஹந் ச ஆந்த்³ரிய: பி²லிபோ ப³ர்த²லமய: ,
and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and imposed on them a name—Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder);
18 மதீ² தோ²மா ச ஆல்பீ²யபுத்ரோ யாகூப்³ த²த்³தீ³ய: கிநாநீய: ஸி²மோந் யஸ்தம்’ பரஹஸ்தேஷ்வர்பயிஷ்யதி ஸ ஈஷ்கரியோதீயயிஹூதா³ஸ்²ச|
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the zealot;
19 ஸ ஸி²மோநே பிதர இத்யுபநாம த³தௌ³ யாகூப்³யோஹந்ப்⁴யாம்’ ச பி³நேரிகி³ஸ்² அர்த²தோ மேக⁴நாத³புத்ராவித்யுபநாம த³தௌ³|
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up. And he cometh into a house;
20 அநந்தரம்’ தே நிவேஸ²நம்’ க³தா: , கிந்து தத்ராபி புநர்மஹாந் ஜநஸமாக³மோ (அ)ப⁴வத் தஸ்மாத்தே போ⁴க்துமப்யவகாஸ²ம்’ ந ப்ராப்தா: |
and the multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 ததஸ்தஸ்ய ஸுஹ்ரு’ல்லோகா இமாம்’ வார்த்தாம்’ ப்ராப்ய ஸ ஹதஜ்ஞாநோபூ⁴த்³ இதி கதா²ம்’ கத²யித்வா தம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வாநேதும்’ க³தா: |
And they who were near to him, hearing of it, went out to secure him, —for they were saying—He is beside himself!
22 அபரஞ்ச யிரூஸா²லம ஆக³தா யே யே(அ)த்⁴யாபகாஸ்தே ஜக³து³ரயம்’ புருஷோ பூ⁴தபத்யாபி³ஷ்டஸ்தேந பூ⁴தபதிநா பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயதி|
And, the Scribes who from Jerusalem had come down, were saying—He hath, Beelzebul; and—In the ruler of the demons, casteth he out the demons.
23 ததஸ்தாநாஹூய யீஸு² ர்த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தை: கதா²ம்’ கதி²தவாந் ஸை²தாந் கத²ம்’ ஸை²தாநம்’ த்யாஜயிதும்’ ஸ²க்நோதி?
And, calling them near, in parables, began he to say unto them—How can, Satan, cast, Satan out?
24 கிஞ்சந ராஜ்யம்’ யதி³ ஸ்வவிரோதே⁴ந ப்ரு’த²க்³ ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி தத்³ ராஜ்யம்’ ஸ்தி²ரம்’ ஸ்தா²தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
And, if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 ததா² கஸ்யாபி பரிவாரோ யதி³ பரஸ்பரம்’ விரோதீ⁴ ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி ஸோபி பரிவார: ஸ்தி²ரம்’ ஸ்தா²தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
And, if a house against itself be divided, the house shall be unable to stand;
26 தத்³வத் ஸை²தாந் யதி³ ஸ்வவிபக்ஷதயா உத்திஷ்ட²ந் பி⁴ந்நோ ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி ஸோபி ஸ்தி²ரம்’ ஸ்தா²தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி கிந்தூச்சி²ந்நோ ப⁴வதி|
And, if, Satan, hath risen up against himself, and become divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 அபரஞ்ச ப்ரப³லம்’ ஜநம்’ ப்ரத²மம்’ ந ப³த்³தா⁴ கோபி தஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய த்³ரவ்யாணி லுண்ட²யிதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி, தம்’ ப³த்³வ்வைவ தஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹஸ்ய த்³ரவ்யாணி லுண்ட²யிதும்’ ஸ²க்நோதி|
But, no one is able into the house of the mighty one to enter, and, his spoils, to carry off, unless, first the mighty one, he bind, and, then his house, will he plunder!
28 அதோஹேதோ ர்யுஷ்மப்⁴யமஹம்’ ஸத்யம்’ கத²யாமி மநுஷ்யாணாம்’ ஸந்தாநா யாநி யாநி பாபாநீஸ்²வரநிந்தா³ஞ்ச குர்வ்வந்தி தேஷாம்’ தத்ஸர்வ்வேஷாமபராதா⁴நாம்’ க்ஷமா ப⁴விதும்’ ஸ²க்நோதி,
Verily, I say unto you—All things shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, —the sins and the profanities wherewithal they shall profane;
30 தஸ்யாபவித்ரபூ⁴தோ(அ)ஸ்தி தேஷாமேதத்கதா²ஹேதோ: ஸ இத்த²ம்’ கதி²தவாந்|
because they were saying—An impure spirit, he hath!
31 அத² தஸ்ய மாதா ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணஸ்²சாக³த்ய ப³ஹிஸ்திஷ்ட²நதோ லோகாந் ப்ரேஷ்ய தமாஹூதவந்த: |
And there come his mother and his brethren, and, standing, outside, they sent unto him, calling him.
32 ததஸ்தத்ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ஸமுபவிஷ்டா லோகாஸ்தம்’ ப³பா⁴ஷிரே பஸ்²ய ப³ஹிஸ்தவ மாதா ப்⁴ராதரஸ்²ச த்வாம் அந்விச்ச²ந்தி|
And there was sitting around him a multitude, and they say unto him—Lo! thy mother and thy brethren, outside, are seeking thee!
33 ததா³ ஸ தாந் ப்ரத்யுவாச மம மாதா கா ப்⁴ராதரோ வா கே? தத: பரம்’ ஸ ஸ்வமீபோபவிஷ்டாந் ஸி²ஷ்யாந் ப்ரதி அவலோகநம்’ க்ரு’த்வா கத²யாமாஸ
And, answering them, he saith—Who are my mother and my brethren?
34 பஸ்²யதைதே மம மாதா ப்⁴ராதரஸ்²ச|
And, looking around on them who, about him, in a circle, were sitting, he saith, See! my mother and my brethren!
35 ய: கஸ்²சித்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யேஷ்டாம்’ க்ரியாம்’ கரோதி ஸ ஏவ மம ப்⁴ராதா ப⁴கி³நீ மாதா ச|
Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same, is my brother and sister and mother.
