லூக: 17
1 இத: பரம்’ யீஸு²: ஸி²ஷ்யாந் உவாச, விக்⁴நைரவஸ்²யம் ஆக³ந்தவ்யம்’ கிந்து விக்⁴நா யேந க⁴டிஷ்யந்தே தஸ்ய து³ர்க³தி ர்ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
And he said unto the disciples, 'It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
2 ஏதேஷாம்’ க்ஷுத்³ரப்ராணிநாம் ஏகஸ்யாபி விக்⁴நஜநநாத் கண்ட²ப³த்³த⁴பேஷணீகஸ்ய தஸ்ய ஸாக³ராகா³த⁴ஜலே மஜ்ஜநம்’ ப⁴த்³ரம்’|
it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put round about his neck, and he hath been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 யூயம்’ ஸ்வேஷு ஸாவதா⁴நாஸ்திஷ்ட²த; தவ ப்⁴ராதா யதி³ தவ கிஞ்சித்³ அபராத்⁴யதி தர்ஹி தம்’ தர்ஜய, தேந யதி³ மந: பரிவர்த்தயதி தர்ஹி தம்’ க்ஷமஸ்வ|
'Take heed to yourselves, and, if thy brother may sin in regard to thee, rebuke him, and if he may reform, forgive him,
4 புநரேகதி³நமத்⁴யே யதி³ ஸ தவ ஸப்தக்ரு’த்வோ(அ)பராத்⁴யதி கிந்து ஸப்தக்ரு’த்வ ஆக³த்ய மந: பரிவர்த்ய மயாபராத்³த⁴ம் இதி வத³தி தர்ஹி தம்’ க்ஷமஸ்வ|
and if seven times in the day he may sin against thee, and seven times in the day may turn back to thee, saying, I reform; thou shalt forgive him.'
5 ததா³ ப்ரேரிதா: ப்ரபு⁴ம் அவத³ந் அஸ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸம்’ வர்த்³த⁴ய|
And the apostles said to the Lord, 'Add to us faith;'
6 ப்ரபு⁴ருவாச, யதி³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸர்ஷபைகப்ரமாணோ விஸ்²வாஸோஸ்தி தர்ஹி த்வம்’ ஸமூலமுத்பாடிதோ பூ⁴த்வா ஸமுத்³ரே ரோபிதோ ப⁴வ கதா²யாம் ஏதஸ்யாம் ஏதது³டு³ம்ப³ராய கதி²தாயாம்’ ஸ யுஷ்மாகமாஜ்ஞாவஹோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
and the Lord said, 'If ye had faith as a grain of mustard, ye would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
7 அபரம்’ ஸ்வதா³ஸே ஹலம்’ வாஹயித்வா வா பஸூ²ந் சாரயித்வா க்ஷேத்ராத்³ ஆக³தே ஸதி தம்’ வத³தி, ஏஹி போ⁴க்துமுபவிஸ², யுஷ்மாகம் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²: கோஸ்தி?
'But, who is he of you — having a servant ploughing or feeding — who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come near, recline at meat?
8 வரஞ்ச பூர்வ்வம்’ மம கா²த்³யமாஸாத்³ய யாவத்³ பு⁴ஞ்ஜே பிவாமி ச தாவத்³ ப³த்³த⁴கடி: பரிசர பஸ்²சாத் த்வமபி போ⁴க்ஷ்யஸே பாஸ்யஸி ச கதா²மீத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ கிம்’ ந வக்ஷ்யதி?
but will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may sup, and having girded thyself about, minister to me, till I eat and drink, and after these things thou shalt eat and drink?
9 தேந தா³ஸேந ப்ரபோ⁴ராஜ்ஞாநுரூபே கர்ம்மணி க்ரு’தே ப்ரபு⁴: கிம்’ தஸ்மிந் பா³தி⁴தோ ஜாத: ? நேத்த²ம்’ பு³த்⁴யதே மயா|
Hath he favour to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
10 இத்த²ம்’ நிரூபிதேஷு ஸர்வ்வகர்ம்மஸு க்ரு’தேஷு ஸத்மு யூயமபீத³ம்’ வாக்யம்’ வத³த², வயம் அநுபகாரிணோ தா³ஸா அஸ்மாபி⁴ர்யத்³யத்கர்த்தவ்யம்’ தந்மாத்ரமேவ க்ரு’தம்’|
'So also ye, when ye may have done all the things directed you, say — We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do — we have done.'
11 ஸ யிரூஸா²லமி யாத்ராம்’ குர்வ்வந் ஸோ²மிரோண்கா³லீல்ப்ரதே³ஸ²மத்⁴யேந க³ச்ச²தி,
And it came to pass, in his going on to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
12 ஏதர்ஹி குத்ரசித்³ க்³ராமே ப்ரவேஸ²மாத்ரே த³ஸ²குஷ்டி²நஸ்தம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் க்ரு’த்வா
and he entering into a certain village, there met him ten leprous men, who stood afar off,
13 தூ³ரே திஷ்ட²நத உச்சை ர்வக்துமாரேபி⁴ரே, ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ யீஸோ² த³யஸ்வாஸ்மாந்|
and they lifted up the voice, saying, 'Jesus, master, deal kindly with us;'
14 தத: ஸ தாந் த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ஜகா³த³, யூயம்’ யாஜகாநாம்’ ஸமீபே ஸ்வாந் த³ர்ஸ²யத, ததஸ்தே க³ச்ச²ந்தோ ரோகா³த் பரிஷ்க்ரு’தா: |
and having seen [them], he said to them, 'Having gone on, shew yourselves to the priests;' and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
15 ததா³ தேஷாமேக: ஸ்வம்’ ஸ்வஸ்த²ம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ப்ரோச்சைரீஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வத³ந் வ்யாகு⁴ட்யாயாதோ யீஸோ² ர்கு³ணாநநுவத³ந் தச்சரணாதோ⁴பூ⁴மௌ பபாத;
and one of them having seen that he was healed did turn back, with a loud voice glorifying God,
16 ஸ சாஸீத் ஸோ²மிரோணீ|
and he fell upon [his] face at his feet, giving thanks to him, and he was a Samaritan.
17 ததா³ யீஸு²ரவத³த், த³ஸ²ஜநா: கிம்’ ந பரிஷ்க்ரு’தா: ? தஹ்யந்யே நவஜநா: குத்ர?
And Jesus answering said, 'Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine — where?
18 ஈஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வத³ந்தம் ஏநம்’ விதே³ஸி²நம்’ விநா கோப்யந்யோ ந ப்ராப்யத|
There were not found who did turn back to give glory to God, except this alien;'
19 ததா³ ஸ தமுவாச, த்வமுத்தா²ய யாஹி விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தே த்வாம்’ ஸ்வஸ்த²ம்’ க்ரு’தவாந்|
and he said to him, 'Having risen, be going on, thy faith hath saved thee.'
20 அத² கதே³ஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜத்வம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதீதி பி²ரூஸி²பி⁴: ப்ரு’ஷ்டே ஸ ப்ரத்யுவாச, ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜத்வம் ஐஸ்²வர்ய்யத³ர்ஸ²நேந ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
And having been questioned by the Pharisees, when the reign of God doth come, he answered them, and said, 'The reign of God doth not come with observation;
21 அத ஏதஸ்மிந் பஸ்²ய தஸ்மிந் வா பஸ்²ய, இதி வாக்யம்’ லோகா வக்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்ஷ்யந்தி, ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜத்வம்’ யுஷ்மாகம் அந்தரேவாஸ்தே|
nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the reign of God is within you.'
22 தத: ஸ ஸி²ஷ்யாந் ஜகா³த³, யதா³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்மநுஜஸுதஸ்ய தி³நமேகம்’ த்³ரஷ்டும் வாஞ்சி²ஷ்யதே கிந்து ந த³ர்ஸி²ஷ்யதே, ஈத்³ரு’க்கால ஆயாதி|
And he said unto his disciples, 'Days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and ye shall not behold [it];
23 ததா³த்ர பஸ்²ய வா தத்ர பஸ்²யேதி வாக்யம்’ லோகா வக்ஷ்யந்தி, கிந்து தேஷாம்’ பஸ்²சாத் மா யாத, மாநுக³ச்ச²த ச|
and they shall say to you, Lo, here; or lo, there; ye may not go away, nor follow;
24 யதஸ்தடி³த்³ யதா²காஸை²கதி³ஸ்²யுதி³ய தத³ந்யாமபி தி³ஸ²ம்’ வ்யாப்ய ப்ரகாஸ²தே தத்³வத் நிஜதி³நே மநுஜஸூநு: ப்ரகாஸி²ஷ்யதே|
for as the lightning that is lightening out of the one [part] under heaven, to the other part under heaven doth shine, so shall be also the Son of Man in his day;
25 கிந்து தத்பூர்வ்வம்’ தேநாநேகாநி து³: கா²நி போ⁴க்தவ்யாந்யேதத்³வர்த்தமாநலோகைஸ்²ச ஸோ(அ)வஜ்ஞாதவ்ய: |
and first it behoveth him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
26 நோஹஸ்ய வித்³யமாநகாலே யதா²ப⁴வத் மநுஷ்யஸூநோ: காலேபி ததா² ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
'And, as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man;
27 யாவத்காலம்’ நோஹோ மஹாபோதம்’ நாரோஹத்³ ஆப்லாவிவார்ய்யேத்ய ஸர்வ்வம்’ நாநாஸ²யச்ச தாவத்காலம்’ யதா² லோகா அபு⁴ஞ்ஜதாபிவந் வ்யவஹந் வ்யவாஹயம்’ஸ்²ச;
they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the deluge came, and destroyed all;
28 இத்த²ம்’ லோடோ வர்த்தமாநகாலேபி யதா² லோகா போ⁴ஜநபாநக்ரயவிக்ரயரோபணக்³ரு’ஹநிர்ம்மாணகர்ம்மஸு ப்ராவர்த்தந்த,
in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 கிந்து யதா³ லோட் ஸிதோ³மோ நிர்ஜகா³ம ததா³ நப⁴ஸ: ஸக³ந்த⁴காக்³நிவ்ரு’ஷ்டி ர்பூ⁴த்வா ஸர்வ்வம்’ வ்யநாஸ²யத்
and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed all.
30 தத்³வந் மாநவபுத்ரப்ரகாஸ²தி³நேபி ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
'According to these things it shall be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
31 ததா³ யதி³ கஸ்²சித்³ க்³ரு’ஹோபரி திஷ்ட²தி தர்ஹி ஸ க்³ரு’ஹமத்⁴யாத் கிமபி த்³ரவ்யமாநேதும் அவருஹ்ய நைது; யஸ்²ச க்ஷேத்ரே திஷ்ட²தி ஸோபி வ்யாகு⁴ட்ய நாயாது|
in that day, he who shall be on the house top, and his vessels in the house, let him not come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, let him not turn backward;
32 லோட: பத்நீம்’ ஸ்மரத|
remember the wife of Lot.
33 ய: ப்ராணாந் ரக்ஷிதும்’ சேஷ்டிஷ்யதே ஸ ப்ராணாந் ஹாரயிஷ்யதி யஸ்து ப்ராணாந் ஹாரயிஷ்யதி ஸஏவ ப்ராணாந் ரக்ஷிஷ்யதி|
Whoever may seek to save his life, shall lose it; and whoever may lose it, shall preserve it.
34 யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ வச்மி தஸ்யாம்’ ராத்ரௌ ஸ²ய்யைகக³தயோ ர்லோகயோரேகோ தா⁴ரிஷ்யதே பரஸ்த்யக்ஷ்யதே|
'I say to you, In that night, there shall be two men on one couch, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left;
35 ஸ்த்ரியௌ யுக³பத் பேஷணீம்’ வ்யாவர்த்தயிஷ்யதஸ்தயோரேகா தா⁴ரிஷ்யதே பராத்யக்ஷ்யதே|
two women shall be grinding at the same place together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left;
36 புருஷௌ க்ஷேத்ரே ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதஸ்தயோரேகோ தா⁴ரிஷ்யதே பரஸ்த்யக்ஷ்யதே|
two men shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.'
37 ததா³ தே பப்ரச்சு²: , ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ குத்ரேத்த²ம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி? தத: ஸ உவாச, யத்ர ஸ²வஸ்திஷ்ட²தி தத்ர க்³ரு’த்⁴ரா மிலந்தி|
And they answering say to him, 'Where, sir?' and he said to them, 'Where the body [is], there will the eagles be gathered together.'
