யோஹந: 2
1 அநந்தரம்’ த்ருதீயதி³வஸே கா³லீல் ப்ரதே³ஸி²யே காந்நாநாம்நி நக³ரே விவாஹ ஆஸீத் தத்ர ச யீஸோ²ர்மாதா திஷ்ட²த்|
And, on the third day, a marriage, took place, in Cana, of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there, —
2 தஸ்மை விவாஹாய யீஸு²ஸ்தஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்²ச நிமந்த்ரிதா ஆஸந்|
and Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, unto the marriage.
3 தத³நந்தரம்’ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸஸ்ய ந்யூநத்வாத்³ யீஸோ²ர்மாதா தமவத³த் ஏதேஷாம்’ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸோ நாஸ்தி|
And, wine falling short, the mother of Jesus saith unto him—Wine, have they none!
4 ததா³ ஸ தாமவோசத் ஹே நாரி மயா ஸஹ தவ கிம்’ கார்ய்யம்’? மம ஸமய இதா³நீம்’ நோபதிஷ்ட²தி|
And Jesus saith unto her—What part can I take with thee, O woman? Not yet, hath come, mine hour.
5 ததஸ்தஸ்ய மாதா தா³ஸாநவோசத்³ அயம்’ யத்³ வத³தி ததே³வ குருத|
His mother saith unto them who are ministering—Whatsoever he may say to you, do!
6 தஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ஸு²சித்வகரணவ்யவஹாராநுஸாரேணாட⁴கைகஜலத⁴ராணி பாஷாணமயாநி ஷட்³வ்ரு’ஹத்பாத்ராணிஆஸந்|
Now there were there, six stone water-vessels, placed, according to the purification of the Jews; holding each, two or three measures.
7 ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தாந் ஸர்வ்வகலஸா²ந் ஜலை: பூரயிதும்’ தாநாஜ்ஞாபயத், ததஸ்தே ஸர்வ்வாந் கும்பா⁴நாகர்ணம்’ ஜலை: பர்ய்யபூரயந்|
Jesus saith unto them—Fill the vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 அத² தேப்⁴ய: கிஞ்சிது³த்தார்ய்ய போ⁴ஜ்யாதி⁴பாதே: ஸமீபம்’ நேதும்’ ஸ தாநாதி³ஸ²த், தே தத³நயந்|
And he saith unto them—Draw out now, and be bearing unto the master of the feast. And they bare.
9 அபரஞ்ச தஜ்ஜலம்’ கத²ம்’ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸோ(அ)ப⁴வத் தஜ்ஜலவாஹகாதா³ஸா ஜ்ஞாதும்’ ஸ²க்தா: கிந்து தத்³போ⁴ஜ்யாதி⁴போ ஜ்ஞாதும்’ நாஸ²க்நோத் தத³வலிஹ்ய வரம்’ ஸம்’ம்போ³த்³யாவத³த,
And, when the master of the feast had tasted the water, now made, wine, and knew not whence it was, —though, they who were ministering, knew, even they who had drawn out the water, the master accosteth the bridegroom,
10 லோகா: ப்ரத²மம்’ உத்தமத்³ராக்ஷாரஸம்’ த³த³தி தஷு யதே²ஷ்டம்’ பிதவத்ஸு தஸ்மா கிஞ்சித³நுத்தமஞ்ச த³த³தி கிந்து த்வமிதா³நீம்’ யாவத் உத்தமத்³ராக்ஷாரஸம்’ ஸ்தா²பயஸி|
and saith unto him—Every man, first the good wine, setteth out; and, when they had been well-supplied, the inferior: —Thou, hast kept the good wine until, even now.
11 இத்த²ம்’ யீஸு²ர்கா³லீலப்ரதே³ஸே² ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யகார்ம்ம ப்ராரம்ப⁴ நிஜமஹிமாநம்’ ப்ராகாஸ²யத் தத: ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தஸ்மிந் வ்யஸ்²வஸந்|
This, beginning of his signs, did Jesus, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 தத: பரம் ஸ நிஜமாத்ருப்⁴ராத்ருஸ்ஸி²ஷ்யை: ஸார்த்³த்⁴ம்’ கப²ர்நாஹூமம் ஆக³மத் கிந்து தத்ர ப³ஹூதி³நாநி ஆதிஷ்ட²த்|
After this, he came down into Capernaum, —he, and his mother and brethren, and his disciples; and, there, they abode, not many days.
13 தத³நந்தரம்’ யிஹூதி³யாநாம்’ நிஸ்தாரோத்ஸவே நிகடமாக³தே யீஸு² ர்யிரூஸா²லம் நக³ரம் ஆக³ச்ச²த்|
And, near, was the passover of the Jews; and, Jesus, went up unto Jerusalem.
14 ததோ மந்தி³ரஸ்ய மத்⁴யே கோ³மேஷபாராவதவிக்ரயிணோ வாணிஜக்ஷ்சோபவிஷ்டாந் விலோக்ய
And he found, in the temple, them that were selling oxen and sheep and doves, also the money-changers sitting.
15 ரஜ்ஜுபி⁴: கஸா²ம்’ நிர்ம்மாய ஸர்வ்வகோ³மேஷாதி³பி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ தாந் மந்தி³ராத்³ தூ³ரீக்ரு’தவாந்|
And, making a scourge out of rushes, all of them, thrust he forth out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and, the money-changers’ small coins, poured he forth, and, the tables, he overturned;
16 வணிஜாம்’ முத்³ராதி³ விகீர்ய்ய ஆஸநாநி ந்யூப்³ஜீக்ரு’த்ய பாராவதவிக்ரயிப்⁴யோ(அ)கத²யத்³ அஸ்மாத் ஸ்தா²நாத் ஸர்வாண்யேதாநி நயத, மம பிதுக்³ரு’ஹம்’ வாணிஜ்யக்³ரு’ஹம்’ மா கார்ஷ்ட|
and unto them who were selling, the doves, he said—Take these things hence! Be not making, the house of my Father, a house of merchandise.
17 தஸ்மாத் தந்மந்தி³ரார்த² உத்³யோகோ³ யஸ்து ஸ க்³ரஸதீவ மாம்| இமாம்’ ஸா²ஸ்த்ரீயலிபிம்’ ஸி²ஷ்யா: ஸமஸ்மரந்|
His disciples remembered that it was written—The zeal of thy house, eateth me up.
18 தத: பரம் யிஹூதீ³யலோகா யீஷிமவத³ந் தவமித்³ரு’ஸ²கர்ம்மகரணாத் கிம்’ சிஹ்நமஸ்மாந் த³ர்ஸ²யஸி?
The Jews therefore answered, and said unto him, What sign, dost thou point out to us, in that, these things, thou doest?
19 ததோ யீஸு²ஸ்தாநவோசத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரே தஸ்மிந் மந்தி³ரே நாஸி²தே தி³நத்ரயமத்⁴யே(அ)ஹம்’ தத்³ உத்தா²பயிஷ்யாமி|
Jesus answered, and said unto them—Take down this shrine, and, in three days, will I raise it.
20 ததா³ யிஹூதி³யா வ்யாஹார்ஷு: , ஏதஸ்ய மந்தி³ரஸ நிர்ம்மாணேந ஷட்சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³ வத்ஸரா க³தா: , த்வம்’ கிம்’ தி³நத்ரயமத்⁴யே தத்³ உத்தா²பயிஷ்யஸி?
The Jews, therefore, said—In forty and six years, was this shrine built. And, thou, in three days, wilt raise it!
21 கிந்து ஸ நிஜதே³ஹரூபமந்தி³ரே கதா²மிமாம்’ கதி²தவாந்|
But, he, was speaking concerning the shrine of his body.
22 ஸ யதே³தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ க³தி³தவாந் தச்சி²ஷ்யா: ஸ்²மஸா²நாத் ததீ³யோத்தா²நே ஸதி ஸ்ம்ரு’த்வா த⁴ர்ம்மக்³ரந்தே² யீஸு²நோக்தகதா²யாம்’ ச வ்யஸ்²வஸிஷு: |
When, therefore, he had been raised from among the dead, his disciples remembered, that, this, he had been saying; and they believed in the Scripture, and in the word which Jesus had spoken.
23 அநந்தரம்’ நிஸ்தாரோத்ஸவஸ்ய போ⁴ஜ்யஸமயே யிரூஸா²லம் நக³ரே தத்க்ருதாஸ்²சர்ய்யகர்ம்மாணி விலோக்ய ப³ஹுபி⁴ஸ்தஸ்ய நாமநி விஸ்²வஸிதம்’|
Now, when he was in Jerusalem, during the passover, during the feast, many, believed on his name, viewing his signs which he was doing.
24 கிந்து ஸ தேஷாம்’ கரேஷு ஸ்வம்’ ந ஸமர்பயத், யத: ஸ ஸர்வ்வாநவைத்|
Jesus himself, however, was not trusting himself unto them, by reason of his understanding them all,
25 ஸ மாநவேஷு கஸ்யசித் ப்ரமாணம்’ நாபேக்ஷத யதோ மநுஜாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே யத்³யத³ஸ்தி தத்தத் ஸோஜாநாத்|
and because he had, no need, that anyone should bear witness concerning man; for, he, understood what was in man.
