ப்ரேரிதா​: 14

1 தௌ த்³வௌ ஜநௌ யுக³பத்³ இகநியநக³ரஸ்த²யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ப⁴ஜநப⁴வநம்’ க³த்வா யதா² ப³ஹவோ யிஹூதீ³யா அந்யதே³ஸீ²யலோகாஸ்²ச வ்யஸ்²வஸந் தாத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ கதா²ம்’ கதி²தவந்தௌ|

And it came to pass in Iconium that they together entered into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake that there believed, both of Jews and Greeks, a great throng.

2 கிந்து விஸ்²வாஸஹீநா யிஹூதீ³யா அந்யதே³ஸீ²யலோகாந் குப்ரவ்ரு’த்திம்’ க்³ராஹயித்வா ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணம்’ ப்ரதி தேஷாம்’ வைரம்’ ஜநிதவந்த​: |

But, the unpersuaded Jews, roused up and provoked the souls of them of the nations against the brethren.

3 அத​: ஸ்வாநுக்³ரஹகதா²யா​: ப்ரமாணம்’ த³த்வா தயோ ர்ஹஸ்தை ர்ப³ஹுலக்ஷணம் அத்³பு⁴தகர்ம்ம ச ப்ராகாஸ²யத்³ ய​: ப்ரபு⁴ஸ்தஸ்ய கதா² அக்ஷோபே⁴ந ப்ரசார்ய்ய தௌ தத்ர ப³ஹுதி³நாநி ஸமவாதிஷ்டே²தாம்’|

A good while, therefore, tarried they, using boldness of speech [in dependence] upon the Lord, who was bearing witness unto his word of favour, granting signs and wonders to be coming to pass through their hands.

4 கிந்து கியந்தோ லோகா யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ஸபக்ஷா​: கியந்தோ லோகா​: ப்ரேரிதாநாம்’ ஸபக்ஷா ஜாதா​: , அதோ நாக³ரிகஜநநிவஹமத்⁴யே பி⁴ந்நவாக்யத்வம் அப⁴வத்|

And the throng of the city was divided; and some indeed were with the Jews, while some were with the apostles.

5 அந்யதே³ஸீ²யா யிஹூதீ³யாஸ்தேஷாம் அதி⁴பதயஸ்²ச தௌ³ராத்ம்யம்’ குத்வா தௌ ப்ரஸ்தரைராஹந்தும் உத்³யதா​: |

But, when there took place an assault both of them of the nations and of the Jews, with their rulers, to maltreat and to stone them,

6 தௌ தத்³வார்த்தாம்’ ப்ராப்ய பலாயித்வா லுகாயநியாதே³ஸ²ஸ்யாந்தர்வ்வர்த்திலுஸ்த்ராத³ர்ப்³போ³

They became aware of it, and fled unto the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding country;

7 தத்ஸமீபஸ்த²தே³ஸ²ஞ்ச க³த்வா தத்ர ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசாரயதாம்’|

And, there, were they announcing the glad tidings.

8 தத்ரோப⁴யபாத³யோஸ்²சலநஸ²க்திஹீநோ ஜந்மாரப்⁴ய க²ஞ்ஜ​: கதா³பி க³மநம்’ நாகரோத் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகோ மாநுஷோ லுஸ்த்ராநக³ர உபவிஸ்²ய பௌலஸ்ய கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருதவாந்|

And, a certain man in Lystra, impotent in his feet, was sitting, —lame from his mother’s womb, who never had walked.

9 ஏதஸ்மிந் ஸமயே பௌலஸ்தம்ப்ரதி த்³ரு’ஷ்டிம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தஸ்ய ஸ்வாஸ்த்²யே விஸ்²வாஸம்’ விதி³த்வா ப்ரோச்சை​: கதி²தவாந்

This man, hearkened unto Paul, as he was speaking, —who, looking steadfastly at him, and seeing he had faith to be made well,

10 பத்³ப்⁴யாமுத்திஷ்ட²ந் ரு’ஜு ர்ப⁴வ| தத​: ஸ உல்லம்ப²ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா க³மநாக³மநே குதவாந்|

Said, with a loud voice—Stand up on thy feet, erect! And he sprang up, and began to walk about.

11 ததா³ லோகா​: பௌலஸ்ய தத் கார்ய்யம்’ விலோக்ய லுகாயநீயபா⁴ஷயா ப்ரோச்சை​: கதா²மேதாம்’ கதி²தவந்த​: , தே³வா மநுஷ்யரூபம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வாஸ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபம் அவாரோஹந்|

And, the multitudes, seeing what Paul had done, lifted up their voice, in the speech of Lycaonia—The gods, made like unto men, have come down unto us!

12 தே ப³ர்ணப்³பா³ம்’ யூபிதரம் அவத³ந் பௌலஸ்²ச முக்²யோ வக்தா தஸ்மாத் தம்’ மர்குரியம் அவத³ந்|

And they went on to call Barnabas, Jupiter, and Paul, Mercury, seeing that, he, was the leader of discourse.

13 தஸ்ய நக³ரஸ்ய ஸம்முகே² ஸ்தா²பிதஸ்ய யூபிதரவிக்³ரஹஸ்ய யாஜகோ வ்ரு’ஷாந் புஷ்பமாலாஸ்²ச த்³வாரஸமீபம் ஆநீய லோகை​: ஸர்த்³த⁴ம்’ தாவுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஸமுத்ஸ்ரு’ஜ்ய தா³தும் உத்³யத​: |

Also, the priest of the Jupiter that was before the city, bringing bulls and garlands unto the gates, with the multitudes, would have offered sacrifice.

14 தத்³வார்த்தாம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ப³ர்ணப்³பா³பௌலௌ ஸ்வீயவஸ்த்ராணி சி²த்வா லோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யம்’ வேகே³ந ப்ரவிஸ்²ய ப்ரோச்சை​: கதி²தவந்தௌ,

But the apostles Barnabas and Paul, hearing of it, rending asunder their own mantles, sprang forward amidst the multitude, crying aloud,

15 ஹே மஹேச்சா²​: குத ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ கர்ம்ம குருத²? ஆவாமபி யுஷ்மாத்³ரு’ஸௌ² ஸுக²து³​: க²போ⁴கி³நௌ மநுஷ்யௌ, யுயம் ஏதா​: ஸர்வ்வா வ்ரு’தா²கல்பநா​: பரித்யஜ்ய யதா² க³க³ணவஸுந்த⁴ராஜலநிதீ⁴நாம்’ தந்மத்⁴யஸ்தா²நாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாஞ்ச ஸ்ரஷ்டாரமமரம் ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரதி பராவர்த்தத்⁴வே தத³ர்த²ம் ஆவாம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசாரயாவ​: |

and saying—Men! Why, these things, are ye doing? We also, of like nature with you, are men, bringing you the good news, that from these vain things, ye should be turning unto a living God: —Who made heaven and the earth and the sea and all things therein;

16 ஸ ஈஸ்²வர​: பூர்வ்வகாலே ஸர்வ்வதே³ஸீ²யலோகாந் ஸ்வஸ்வமார்கே³ சலிதுமநுமதிம்’ த³த்தவாந்,

Who in the bygone generations suffered all the nations to be going on in their own ways, —

17 ததா²பி ஆகாஸா²த் தோயவர்ஷணேந நாநாப்ரகாரஸ²ஸ்யோத்பத்யா ச யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஹிதைஷீ ஸந் ப⁴க்ஷ்யைராநநதே³ந ச யுஷ்மாகம் அந்த​: கரணாநி தர்பயந் தாநி தா³நாநி நிஜஸாக்ஷிஸ்வரூபாணி ஸ்த²பிதவாந்|

Although, not without witness, he left himself, doing good, from heaven, upon you, giving rain and fruitful seasons, filling, with food and gladness, your hearts.

18 கிந்து தாத்³ரு’ஸா²யாம்’ கதா²யாம்’ கதி²தாயாமபி தயோ​: ஸமீப உத்ஸர்ஜநாத் லோகநிவஹம்’ ப்ராயேண நிவர்த்தயிதும்’ நாஸ²க்நுதாம்|

Even these things, saying, scarcely restrained they the multitudes from offering sacrifice unto them.

19 ஆந்தியகி²யா-இகநியநக³ராப்⁴யாம்’ கதிபயயிஹூதீ³யலோகா ஆக³த்ய லோகாந் ப்ராவர்த்தயந்த தஸ்மாத் தை பௌலம்’ ப்ரஸ்தரைராக்⁴நந் தேந ஸ ம்ரு’த இதி விஜ்ஞாய நக³ரஸ்ய ப³ஹிஸ்தம் ஆக்ரு’ஷ்ய நீதவந்த​: |

But there came thither, from Antioch and Iconium, Jews, and, persuading the multitudes, and stoning Paul, they dragged him outside the city, supposing him to be dead.

20 கிந்து ஸி²ஷ்யக³ணே தஸ்ய சதுர்தி³ஸி² திஷ்ட²தி ஸதி ஸ ஸ்வயம் உத்தா²ய புநரபி நக³ரமத்⁴யம்’ ப்ராவிஸ²த் தத்பரே(அ)ஹநி ப³ர்ணப்³பா³ஸஹிதோ த³ர்ப்³பீ³நக³ரம்’ க³தவாந்|

Howbeit, the disciples surrounding him, he rose up, and entered into the city. And, on the morrow, he went forth, with Barnabas, unto Derbe.

21 தத்ர ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசார்ய்ய ப³ஹுலோகாந் ஸி²ஷ்யாந் க்ரு’த்வா தௌ லுஸ்த்ராம் இகநியம் ஆந்தியகி²யாஞ்ச பராவ்ரு’த்ய க³தௌ|

Delivering the good news unto that city also, and making a good number of disciples, they returned unto Lystra, and unto Iconium, and unto Antioch, —

22 ப³ஹுது³​: கா²நி பு⁴க்த்வாபீஸ்²வரராஜ்யம்’ ப்ரவேஷ்டவ்யம் இதி காரணாத்³ த⁴ர்ம்மமார்கே³ ஸ்தா²தும்’ விநயம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஸி²ஷ்யக³ணஸ்ய மந​: ஸ்தை²ர்ய்யம் அகுருதாம்’|

confirming the souls of the disciples, beseeching them to abide in the faith, and [declaring] that, through many tribulations, must we enter into the kingdom of God.

23 மண்ட³லீநாம்’ ப்ராசீநவர்கா³ந் நியுஜ்ய ப்ரார்த²நோபவாஸௌ க்ரு’த்வா யத்ப்ரபௌ⁴ தே வ்யஸ்²வஸந் தஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே தாந் ஸமர்ப்ய

Moreover, appointing unto them by vote, in each assembly, elders, praying with fastings, they commended them unto the Lord on whom they had believed.

24 பிஸிதி³யாமத்⁴யேந பாம்பு²லியாதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³தவந்தௌ|

And, passing through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia;

25 பஸ்²சாத் பர்கா³நக³ரம்’ க³த்வா ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசார்ய்ய அத்தாலியாநக³ரம்’ ப்ரஸ்தி²தவந்தௌ|

and, speaking in Perga the word, they came down unto Attalia;

26 தஸ்மாத் ஸமுத்³ரபதே²ந க³த்வா தாப்⁴யாம்’ யத் கர்ம்ம ஸம்பந்நம்’ தத்கர்ம்ம ஸாத⁴யிதும்’ யந்நக³ரே த³யாலோரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே ஸமர்பிதௌ ஜாதௌ தத்³ ஆந்தியகி²யாநக³ரம்’ க³தவந்தா|

and, from thence, they set sail for Antioch, whence they had been given up unto the favour of God for the work which they had fulfilled.

27 தத்ரோபஸ்தா²ய தந்நக³ரஸ்த²மண்ட³லீம்’ ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹ்ய ஸ்வாப்⁴யாம ஈஸ்²வரோ யத்³யத் கர்ம்மகரோத் ததா² யேந ப்ரகாரேண பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸீ²யலோகாந் ப்ரதி விஸ்²வாஸரூபத்³வாரம் அமோசயத்³ ஏதாந் ஸர்வ்வவ்ரு’த்தாந்தாந் தாந் ஜ்ஞாபிதவந்தௌ|

And, when they had arrived and gathered together the assembly, they began recounting how many things God had done with them, and that he had opened, unto the nations, a door of faith.

28 ததஸ்தௌ ஸி²ர்ய்யை​: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ தத்ர ப³ஹுதி³நாநி ந்யவஸதாம்|

And they spent no little time with the disciples.
