1 கரிந்தி²ந​: 4

1 லோகா அஸ்மாந் க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய பரிசாரகாந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய நிகூ³ட²வாக்யத⁴நஸ்யாத்⁴யக்ஷாம்’ஸ்²ச மந்யந்தாம்’|

Let a man, so, be reckoning of us, as officers of Christ, and stewards of sacred secrets of God.

2 கிஞ்ச த⁴நாத்⁴யக்ஷேண விஸ்²வஸநீயேந ப⁴விதவ்யமேததே³வ லோகை ர்யாச்யதே|

Here, furthermore, it is sought in stewards, that, faithful, one be found.

3 அதோ விசாரயத்³பி⁴ ர்யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரந்யை​: கைஸ்²சிந் மநுஜை ர்வா மம பரீக்ஷணம்’ மயாதீவ லகு⁴ மந்யதே (அ)ஹமப்யாத்மாநம்’ ந விசாரயாமி|

With me, however, it counteth for the very smallest thing, that, by you, I should be examined, or by a human day. Nay! I am not even examining myself,

4 மயா கிமப்யபராத்³த⁴மித்யஹம்’ ந வேத்³மி கிந்த்வேதேந மம நிரபராத⁴த்வம்’ ந நிஸ்²சீயதே ப்ரபு⁴ரேவ மம விசாரயிதாஸ்தி|

For, of nothing, to myself, am I conscious: nevertheless, not hereby, am I declared righteous, but, he that doth examine me, is the Lord.

5 அத உபயுக்தஸமயாத் பூர்வ்வம் அர்த²த​: ப்ரபோ⁴ராக³மநாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்விசாரோ ந க்ரியதாம்’| ப்ரபு⁴ராக³த்ய திமிரேண ப்ரச்ச²ந்நாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி தீ³பயிஷ்யதி மநஸாம்’ மந்த்ரணாஸ்²ச ப்ரகாஸ²யிஷ்யதி தஸ்மிந் ஸமய ஈஸ்²வராத்³ ஏகைகஸ்ய ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸா ப⁴விஷ்யதி|

So then, not before the fitting time, be judging anything, —until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and, then, the praise shall come to each one, from God.

6 ஹே ப்⁴ராதர​: ஸர்வ்வாண்யேதாநி மயாத்மாநம் ஆபல்லவஞ்சோத்³தி³ஸ்²ய கதி²தாநி தஸ்யைதத் காரணம்’ யுயம்’ யதா² ஸா²ஸ்த்ரீயவிதி⁴மதிக்ரம்ய மாநவம் அதீவ நாத³ரிஷ்யத்⁴ப³ ஈத்த²ஞ்சைகேந வைபரீத்யாத்³ அபரேண ந ஸ்²லாகி⁴ஷ்யத்⁴ப³ ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ ஸி²க்ஷாமாவயோர்த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தாத் லப்ஸ்யத்⁴வே|

But, these things, brethren, have I transferred unto myself and Apollos, for your sakes, that, in us, ye might learn [the lesson] —Not beyond the things that are written…! that ye do not puff yourselves up, individually, for this one against that.

7 அபராத் கஸ்த்வாம்’ விஸே²ஷயதி? துப்⁴யம்’ யந்ந த³த்த தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ கிம்’ தா⁴ரயஸி? அத³த்தேநேவ த³த்தேந வஸ்துநா குத​: ஸ்²லாக⁴ஸே?

For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou didst not receive? But, if thou didst even receive it, why dost thou boast, as though thou hadst not received it?

8 இதா³நீமேவ யூயம்’ கிம்’ த்ரு’ப்தா லப்³த⁴த⁴நா வா? அஸ்மாஸ்வவித்³யமாநேஷு யூயம்’ கிம்’ ராஜத்வபத³ம்’ ப்ராப்தா​: ? யுஷ்மாகம்’ ராஜத்வம்’ மயாபி⁴லஷிதம்’ யதஸ்தேந யுஷ்மாபி⁴​: ஸஹ வயமபி ராஜ்யாம்’ஸி²நோ ப⁴விஷ்யாம​: |

Already, ye have become full, already, ye are become rich, —apart from us, ye are become kings! And I would indeed ye had become kings, that, we also, with you, might have together become kings!

9 ப்ரேரிதா வயம்’ ஸே²ஷா ஹந்தவ்யாஸ்²சேவேஸ்²வரேண நித³ர்ஸி²தா​: | யதோ வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வலோகாநாம் அர்த²த​: ஸ்வர்கீ³யதூ³தாநாம்’ மாநவாநாஞ்ச கௌதுகாஸ்பதா³நி ஜாதா​: |

For I think that, God, hath set forth, us the apostles, to be last of all, as men devoted to death, —in that, a spectacle, have we been made, unto the world, —both unto messengers and unto men.

10 க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய க்ரு’தே வயம்’ மூடா⁴​: கிந்து யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஜ்ஞாநிந​: , வயம்’ து³ர்ப்³ப³லா யூயஞ்ச ஸப³லா​: , யூயம்’ ஸம்மாநிதா வயஞ்சாபமாநிதா​: |

We, are foolish for Christ’s sake, but, ye, prudent in Christ; we are weak, but, ye, mighty; ye, all-glorious, but, we, dishonoured.

11 வயமத்³யாபி க்ஷுதா⁴ர்த்தாஸ்த்ரு’ஷ்ணார்த்தா வஸ்த்ரஹீநாஸ்தாடி³தா ஆஸ்²ரமரஹிதாஸ்²ச ஸந்த​:

Until the present hour, we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and are wanderers,

12 கர்ம்மணி ஸ்வகராந் வ்யாபாரயந்தஸ்²ச து³​: கை²​: காலம்’ யாபயாம​: | க³ர்ஹிதைரஸ்மாபி⁴ராஸீ²​: கத்²யதே தூ³ரீக்ரு’தை​: ஸஹ்யதே நிந்தி³தை​: ப்ரஸாத்³யதே|

And toil, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless, being persecuted, we hold on,

13 வயமத்³யாபி ஜக³த​: ஸம்மார்ஜநீயோக்³யா அவகரா இவ ஸர்வ்வை ர்மந்யாமஹே|

Being defamed, we beseech: as the sweepings of the world have we become, the offscouring of all—until even now.

14 யுஷ்மாந் த்ரபயிதுமஹமேதாநி லிகா²மீதி நஹி கிந்து ப்ரியாத்மஜாநிவ யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரபோ³த⁴யாமி|

Not, to shame you, write I these things; but, as my beloved children, I admonish you.

15 யத​: க்²ரீஷ்டத⁴ர்ம்மே யத்³யபி யுஷ்மாகம்’ த³ஸ²ஸஹஸ்ராணி விநேதாரோ ப⁴வந்தி ததா²பி ப³ஹவோ ஜநகா ந ப⁴வந்தி யதோ(அ)ஹமேவ ஸுஸம்’வாதே³ந யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டே யுஷ்மாந் அஜநயம்’|

For, though myriads of tutors ye should have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for, in Christ Jesus, through means of the joyful message, I, begat you.

16 அதோ யுஷ்மாந் விநயே(அ)ஹம்’ யூயம்’ மத³நுகா³மிநோ ப⁴வத|

I beseech you, therefore, —become imitators of me.

17 இத்யர்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷு த⁴ர்ம்மஸமாஜேஷு ஸர்வ்வத்ர க்²ரீஷ்டத⁴ர்ம்மயோக்³யா யே வித⁴யோ மயோபதி³ஸ்²யந்தே தாந் யோ யுஷ்மாந் ஸ்மாரயிஷ்யத்யேவம்பூ⁴தம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴​: க்ரு’தே ப்ரியம்’ விஸ்²வாஸிநஞ்ச மதீ³யதநயம்’ தீமதி²யம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷிதவாநஹம்’|

For this cause, sent I unto you, Timothy, —who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who shall put, you, in mind of my ways which are in Christ [Jesus], even as, everywhere, in every assembly, I teach.

18 அபரமஹம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபம்’ ந க³மிஷ்யாமீதி பு³த்³த்⁴வா யுஷ்மாகம்’ கியந்தோ லோகா க³ர்வ்வந்தி|

But, as though I were not coming unto you, some are puffed up!

19 கிந்து யதி³ ப்ரபே⁴ரிச்சா² ப⁴வதி தர்ஹ்யஹமவிலம்ப³ம்’ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபமுபஸ்தா²ய தேஷாம்’ த³ர்பத்⁴மாதாநாம்’ லோகாநாம்’ வாசம்’ ஜ்ஞாஸ்யாமீதி நஹி ஸாமர்த்²யமேவ ஜ்ஞாஸ்யாமி|

Howbeit, I will come quickly unto you, —if, the Lord, please, —and will get to know—not the speech of them who are puffed up, but, the power;

20 யஸ்மாதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜத்வம்’ வாக்³யுக்தம்’ நஹி கிந்து ஸாமர்த்²யயுக்தம்’|

For, not in speech, is the kingdom of God, but, in power.

21 யுஷ்மாகம்’ கா வாஞ்சா²? யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபே மயா கிம்’ த³ண்ட³பாணிநா க³ந்தவ்யமுத ப்ரேமநம்ரதாத்மயுக்தேந வா?

What will ye? that, with a rod, I should come unto you? or, with love, and a spirit of meekness?
