ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਃ 15
1 ਯਿਹੂਦਾਦੇਸ਼ਾਤ੍ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਜਨਾ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣਮਿੱਥੰ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਮੂਸਾਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਯਾ ਯਦਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦੋ ਨ ਭਵਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ|
Then some men arrived from Judea who started teaching the believers, “Unless you're circumcised according to the rules set down by Moses, you can't be saved.”
2 ਪੌਲਬਰ੍ਣੱਬੌ ਤੈਃ ਸਹ ਬਹੂਨ੍ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਨ੍ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ, ਤਤੋ ਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਯਨੋਕਾ ਏਤਸ੍ਯਾਃ ਕਥਾਯਾਸ੍ਤੱਤ੍ਵੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਤੁੰ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ਨਗਰਸ੍ਥਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪੌਲਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਪ੍ਰਭ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਨ੍ ਕਤਿਪਯਜਨਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਤੁੰ ਨਿਸ਼੍ਚਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
Paul and Barnabas had many arguments and debates with them. So Paul and Barnabas and some others were appointed to go to Jerusalem and talk to the apostles and leaders there about this issue.
3 ਤੇ ਮਣ੍ਡਲ੍ਯਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਫੈਣੀਕੀਸ਼ੋਮਿਰੋਨ੍ਦੇਸ਼ਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਮਨਃਪਰਿਵਰ੍ੱਤਨਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਯਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਣਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਹ੍ਲਾਦਮ੍ ਅਜਨਯਨ੍|
The church sent them on their way, and as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they explained how foreigners were being converted, which made all the believers very happy.
4 ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ਯੁਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਗਣੇਨ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਗਣੇਨ ਸਮਾਜੇਨ ਚ ਸਮੁਪਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਸ੍ਵੈਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯਾਨਿ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾਨ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਮਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮ੍ ਅਕਥਯਨ੍|
When they arrived in Jerusalem they were welcomed by the church members, the apostles, and the elders. They explained everything God had done through them.
5 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਨਃ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤਃ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਮਤਗ੍ਰਾਹਿਣੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਕਥਾਮੇਤਾਂ ਕਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਮੂਸਾਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਂ ਪਾਲਯਿਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਸਮਾਦੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਵ੍ਯਮ੍|
But they were opposed by some of the believers who belonged to the Pharisee faction. They said, “These converts have to be circumcised, and instructed to observe the law of Moses.”
6 ਤਤਃ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਵੇਚਨਾਂ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਸਭਾਯਾਂ ਸ੍ਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
The apostles and elders met together to discuss the issue.
7 ਬਹੁਵਿਚਾਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਜਾਤਸ਼਼ੁ ਪਿਤਰ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍, ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰੋ ਯਥਾ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਮਮ ਮੁਖਾਤ੍ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍ਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਬਹੁਦਿਨਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਮਾਂ ਵ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਨਿਯੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍|
After much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that some time ago God chose me from among you so that the foreigners could hear the message of good news and trust in Jesus.
8 ਅਨ੍ਤਰ੍ੱਯਾਮੀਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯਥਾਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਤਥਾ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਮਾਤ੍ਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਯ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੇਨ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਤਃਕਰਣਾਨਿ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ
God, who knows thewhat we're thinking, has shown that he accepts them, giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us.
9 ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕਞ੍ਚ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ੰ ਨ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਨਧਿ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਇਤਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਾਨੀਥ|
He doesn't make any distinction between us and them—he cleansed their thoughts as they trusted in him.
10 ਅਤਏਵਾਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ਾ ਵਯਞ੍ਚ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਯਦ੍ਯੁਗਸ੍ਯ ਭਾਰੰ ਸੋਢੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਾਃ ਸਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਤੰ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਗਣਸ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਕਨ੍ਧੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਨ੍ਯਸਿਤੁੰ ਕੁਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਪਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ?
So why do you want to oppose God and put a burden on the believers that our fathers weren't able to bear, and we can't either?
11 ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੇਣ ਤੇ ਯਥਾ ਵਯਮਪਿ ਤਥਾ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤੁਮ੍ ਆਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੁਰ੍ੰਮਃ|
We're convinced that we're saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way they are.”
12 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਪੌਲਾਭ੍ਯਾਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਯਦ੍ਯਦ੍ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਮ੍ ਅਦ੍ਭੁਤਞ੍ਚ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਦ੍ਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾਨ੍ਤੰ ਤੌ ਸ੍ਵਮੁਖਾਭ੍ਯਾਮ੍ ਅਵਰ੍ਣਯਤਾਂ ਸਭਾਸ੍ਥਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਨੀਰਵਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
Everyone listened attentively to Barnabas and Paul as they explained the miraculous signs that God had performed through them among the foreigners.
13 ਤਯੋਃ ਕਥਾਯਾਂ ਸਮਾਪ੍ਤਾਯਾਂ ਸਤ੍ਯਾਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ੍ ਕਥਯਿਤੁਮ੍ ਆਰਬ੍ਧਵਾਨ੍
After they had finished speaking, James spoke up, saying, “Brothers, listen to me.
14 ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰੋ ਮਮ ਕਥਾਯਾਮ੍ ਮਨੋ ਨਿਧੱਤ| ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ੍ਵਨਾਮਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਮ੍ ਮਧ੍ਯਾਦ੍ ਏਕੰ ਲੋਕਸੰਘੰ ਗ੍ਰਹੀਤੁੰ ਮਤਿੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੇਣ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਪਾਵਲੇਕਨੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੰ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ੍ ਵਰ੍ਣਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
Simon has described how God first revealed his concern for the foreigners by taking from them a people committed to him.
15 ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਭਿਰੁਕ੍ਤਾਨਿ ਯਾਨਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਾਨਿ ਤੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧਮ੍ ਏਤਸ੍ਯੈਕ੍ਯੰ ਭਵਤਿ ਯਥਾ ਲਿਖਿਤਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ|
This is in accordance with the words of the prophets, as it's written,
16 ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਣਾਂ ਯਸ੍ਤੁ ਸਾਧਕਃ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ| ਸ ਏਵੇਦੰ ਵਦੇਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ਾਃ ਸਕਲਮਾਨਵਾਃ| ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਮਮ ਨਾਮਤਃ| ਭਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਹਿ ਸੁਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਯਥਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਿਤੁਃ|
‘In the future I will return, and I will rebuild the fallen house of David; I will rebuild its ruins and set it straight.
17 ਤਤ੍ਵੰ ਸਮ੍ਯਕ੍ ਸਮੀਹਨ੍ਤੇ ਤੰਨਿਮਿੱਤਮਹੰ ਕਿਲ| ਪਰਾਵ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਸਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਦਾਯੂਦਃ ਪਤਿਤੰ ਪੁਨਃ| ਦੂਸ਼਼੍ਯਮੁੱਥਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ ਤਦੀਯੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵਸ੍ਤੁ ਚ| ਪਤਿਤੰ ਪੁਨਰੁਥਾਪ੍ਯ ਸੱਜਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਥਾ||
I will do this so that those who are left may come to the Lord, including the foreigners who call on my name.
This is what the Lord says, who revealed these things long ago.’ (aiōn g165)
19 ਅਤਏਵ ਮਮ ਨਿਵੇਦਨਮਿਦੰ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਯੇ ਜਨਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਨ੍ਤ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੁਪਰਿ ਅਨ੍ਯੰ ਕਮਪਿ ਭਾਰੰ ਨ ਨ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ
So my decision is that we shouldn't make it difficult for foreigners who turn to God.
20 ਦੇਵਤਾਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਾਸ਼ੁਚਿਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਕਣ੍ਠਸਮ੍ਪੀਡਨਮਾਰਿਤਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਰਕ੍ਤਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਞ੍ਚ ਏਤਾਨਿ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਯਕ੍ਤੁੰ ਲਿਖਾਮਃ|
We should write to them and tell them to avoid food sacrificed to idols, sexual immorality, meat of animals that have been strangled, and from consuming blood.
21 ਯਤਃ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਕਾਲਤੋ ਮੂਸਾਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਣੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਨਗਰੇ ਨਗਰੇ ਸਨ੍ਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮਵਾਰਞ੍ਚ ਭਜਨਭਵਨੇ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਃ ਪਾਠੋ ਭਵਤਿ|
For the law of Moses has been taught in every town for a long, long time—it's read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
22 ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਗਣੋ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਗਣਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾ ਮਣ੍ਡਲੀ ਚ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਬਰ੍ਸ਼ੱਬਾ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤੋ ਮਨੋਨੀਤੌ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਪੌਲਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧਮ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਣਮ੍ ਉਚਿਤੰ ਬੁੱਧ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ਼਼ਯਨ੍|
Then the apostles and elders, together with the whole church, decided it would be good to choose some representatives and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas Barsabbas and Silas, leaders among the brothers,
23 ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਪਤ੍ਰੇ ਲਿਖਿਤਮਿੰਦ, ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾ-ਸੁਰਿਯਾ-ਕਿਲਿਕਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਥਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣਾਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਗਣਸ੍ਯ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਗਣਸ੍ਯ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਨਮਸ੍ਕਾਰਃ|
and sent them with this letter: “Greetings from us, the apostles and elders and brothers, to the non-Jewish brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:
24 ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ਤੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਆਜ੍ਞਾਮ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯਾਪਿ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਜਨਾ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਮਧ੍ਯਾਦ੍ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦੋ ਮੂਸਾਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾ ਚ ਪਾਲਯਿਤਵ੍ਯਾਵਿਤਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਮਨਸਾਮਸ੍ਥੈਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸਸਨ੍ਦੇਹਾਨ੍ ਅਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ ਏਤਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਵਯਮ੍ ਅਸ਼੍ਰੁʼਨ੍ਮ|
We have heard that some from our group have confused you with their teachings, causing you trouble. We certainly didn't tell them to do this!
25 ਤਤ੍ਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਵਯਮ੍ ਏਕਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਣਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਃ ਸਭਾਯਾਂ ਸ੍ਥਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਮਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯੁਮੁਖਗਤਾਭ੍ਯਾਮਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ
So we have agreed to choose some representatives and send them to you together with our much-loved brothers Barnabas and Paul,
26 ਪ੍ਰਿਯਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਪੌਲਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਮਨੋਨੀਤਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਕੇਸ਼਼ਾਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਣਮ੍ ਉਚਿਤੰ ਬੁੱਧਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 ਅਤੋ ਯਿਹੂਦਾਸੀਲੌ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ, ਏਤਯੋ ਰ੍ਮੁਖਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਜ੍ਞਾਸ੍ਯਥ|
So we are sending to you Judas and Silas who can verbally confirm what we're saying.
28 ਦੇਵਤਾਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਰਕ੍ਤਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਗਲਪੀਡਨਮਾਰਿਤਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਚੇਮਾਨਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਣਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਸ੍ਤ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਯਾਨਿ; ਏਤਤ੍ਪ੍ਰਯੋਜਨੀਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਵ੍ਯਤਿਰੇਕੇਨ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਉਪਰਿ ਭਾਰਮਨ੍ਯੰ ਨ ਨ੍ਯਸਿਤੁੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਕਞ੍ਚ ਉਚਿਤਜ੍ਞਾਨਮ੍ ਅਭਵਤ੍|
It seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us not to place on you any heavier burden than these important requirements.
29 ਅਤਏਵ ਤੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਭਦ੍ਰੰ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ| ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਮਙ੍ਗਲੰ ਭੂਯਾਤ੍|
You should avoid: anything sacrificed to idols; blood; meat from strangled animals; and sexual immorality. You will do well to observe these requirements. God bless you.”
30 ਤੇ ਵਿਸ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਲੋਕਨਿਵਹੰ ਸੰਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਯ ਪਤ੍ਰਮ੍ ਅਦਦਨ੍|
The men were sent on their way to Antioch. When they arrived they called everybody together and delivered the letter.
31 ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਤ੍ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ਪਠਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਸਾਨਨ੍ਦਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍|
After they had read it, the people were so happy for the encouraging message.
32 ਯਿਹੂਦਾਸੀਲੌ ਚ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕੌ ਭੂਤ੍ਵਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣੰ ਨਾਨੋਪਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਤਾਨ੍ ਸੁਸ੍ਥਿਰਾਨ੍ ਅਕੁਰੁਤਾਮ੍|
Judas and Silas, who were also prophets, encouraged the brothers, explaining many things, and strengthening them.
33 ਇੱਥੰ ਤੌ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਤੈਃ ਸਾਕੰ ਕਤਿਪਯਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਯਾਪਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਗਮਨਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸੰਨਿਧੇਃ ਕਲ੍ਯਾਣੇਨ ਵਿਸ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਵਭਵਤਾਂ|
After spending some time there they were sent back by the brothers with their blessing to the believers in Jerusalem.
34 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸੀਲਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸ੍ਥਾਤੁੰ ਵਾਞ੍ਛਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
35 ਅਪਰੰ ਪੌਲਬਰ੍ਣੱਬੌ ਬਹਵਃ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਉਪਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਨ੍ਤ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਯਾਂ ਕਾਲੰ ਯਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of God along with many others.
36 ਕਤਿਪਯਦਿਨੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਗਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਪੌਲੋ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਮ੍ ਅਵਦਤ੍ ਆਗੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਯੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਨਗਰੇਸ਼਼੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ ਤਾਨਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਨਗਰਾਣਿ ਪੁਨਰ੍ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤੀਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਸ਼਼੍ਟੁੰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਤ੍ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਃ|
Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let's go back and visit the believers in every town where we shared the word of the Lord, and see how they're doing.”
37 ਤੇਨ ਮਾਰ੍ਕਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤੰ ਯੋਹਨੰ ਸਙ੍ਗਿਨੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾ ਮਤਿਮਕਰੋਤ੍,
Barnabas planned to take along John Mark too.
38 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਤਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਹ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਨ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਪਾਮ੍ਫੂਲਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਤੌ ਤ੍ਯਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ਕਾਰਣਾਤ੍ ਪੌਲਸ੍ਤੰ ਸਙ੍ਗਿਨੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁਮ੍ ਅਨੁਚਿਤੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਤਵਾਨ੍|
But Paul didn't think it was a good idea to take him with them, since he'd left them in Pamphylia and hadn't continued working with them.
39 ਇੱਥੰ ਤਯੋਰਤਿਸ਼ਯਵਿਰੋਧਸ੍ਯੋਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਤ੍ਵਾਤ੍ ਤੌ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਗਭਵਤਾਂ ਤਤੋ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾ ਮਾਰ੍ਕੰ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਪੋਤੇਨ ਕੁਪ੍ਰੋਪਦ੍ਵੀਪੰ ਗਤਵਾਨ੍;
They had such a strong disagreement that they separated. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed to Cyprus.
40 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪੌਲਃ ਸੀਲੰ ਮਨੋਨੀਤੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਭਿਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੇ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤਃ ਸਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਾਯ
Paul chose Silas, and as they left, the believers committed them to the grace of the Lord.
41 ਸੁਰਿਯਾਕਿਲਿਕਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਃ ਸ੍ਥਿਰੀਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ ਅਗੱਛਤ੍|
Paul traveled through Syria and Cilicia, encouraging the churches there.
