1 ଅଥୈକଦା ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ମନିଦରେ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ପ୍ରଚାରଯନ୍ ଲୋକାନୁପଦିଶତି, ଏତର୍ହି ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକାଃ ପ୍ରାଞ୍ଚଶ୍ଚ ତନ୍ନିକଟମାଗତ୍ୟ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛୁଃ
And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
2 କଯାଜ୍ଞଯା ତ୍ୱଂ କର୍ମ୍ମାଣ୍ୟେତାନି କରୋଷି? କୋ ୱା ତ୍ୱାମାଜ୍ଞାପଯତ୍? ତଦସ୍ମାନ୍ ୱଦ|
And spoke to him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
3 ସ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁୱାଚ, ତର୍ହି ଯୁଷ୍ମାନପି କଥାମେକାଂ ପୃଚ୍ଛାମି ତସ୍ୟୋତ୍ତରଂ ୱଦତ|
And he answered and said to them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
4 ଯୋହନୋ ମଜ୍ଜନମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମାନୁଷାଣାଂ ୱାଜ୍ଞାତୋ ଜାତଂ?
The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?
5 ତତସ୍ତେ ମିଥୋ ୱିୱିଚ୍ୟ ଜଗଦୁଃ, ଯଦୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ୱଦାମସ୍ତର୍ହି ତଂ କୁତୋ ନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୈତ ସ ଇତି ୱକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି|
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?
6 ଯଦି ମନୁଷ୍ୟସ୍ୟେତି ୱଦାମସ୍ତର୍ହି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଲୋକା ଅସ୍ମାନ୍ ପାଷାଣୈ ର୍ହନିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ଯତୋ ଯୋହନ୍ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦୀତି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଦୃଢଂ ଜାନନ୍ତି|
But if we say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.
7 ଅତଏୱ ତେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୂଚୁଃ କସ୍ୟାଜ୍ଞଯା ଜାତମ୍ ଇତି ୱକ୍ତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୁମଃ|
And they answered, that they could not tell where it was from.
8 ତଦା ଯୀଶୁରୱଦତ୍ ତର୍ହି କଯାଜ୍ଞଯା କର୍ମ୍ମାଣ୍ୟେତାତି କରୋମୀତି ଚ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ନ ୱକ୍ଷ୍ୟାମି|
And Jesus said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
9 ଅଥ ଲୋକାନାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ ସ ଇମାଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତକଥାଂ ୱକ୍ତୁମାରେଭେ, କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ କୃଷୀୱଲାନାଂ ହସ୍ତେଷୁ ସମର୍ପ୍ୟ ବହୁକାଲାର୍ଥଂ ଦୂରଦେଶଂ ଜଗାମ|
Then he began to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it out to vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time.
10 ଅଥ ଫଲକାଲେ ଫଲାନି ଗ୍ରହୀତୁ କୃଷୀୱଲାନାଂ ସମୀପେ ଦାସଂ ପ୍ରାହିଣୋତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ କୃଷୀୱଲାସ୍ତଂ ପ୍ରହୃତ୍ୟ ରିକ୍ତହସ୍ତଂ ୱିସସର୍ଜୁଃ|
And at the season he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the vinedressers beat him, and sent him away empty.
11 ତତଃ ସୋଧିପତିଃ ପୁନରନ୍ୟଂ ଦାସଂ ପ୍ରେଷଯାମାସ, ତେ ତମପି ପ୍ରହୃତ୍ୟ କୁୱ୍ୟୱହୃତ୍ୟ ରିକ୍ତହସ୍ତଂ ୱିସସୃଜୁଃ|
And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12 ତତଃ ସ ତୃତୀଯୱାରମ୍ ଅନ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରାହିଣୋତ୍ ତେ ତମପି କ୍ଷତାଙ୍ଗଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ବହି ର୍ନିଚିକ୍ଷିପୁଃ|
And again he sent the third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
13 ତଦା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରପତି ର୍ୱିଚାରଯାମାସ, ମମେଦାନୀଂ କିଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟଂ? ମମ ପ୍ରିଯେ ପୁତ୍ରେ ପ୍ରହିତେ ତେ ତମୱଶ୍ୟଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ସମାଦରିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତେ|
Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be when they see him they will reverence him.
14 କିନ୍ତୁ କୃଷୀୱଲାସ୍ତଂ ନିରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ୱିୱିଚ୍ୟ ପ୍ରୋଚୁଃ, ଅଯମୁତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ଆଗଚ୍ଛତୈନଂ ହନ୍ମସ୍ତତୋଧିକାରୋସ୍ମାକଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
15 ତତସ୍ତେ ତଂ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରାଦ୍ ବହି ର୍ନିପାତ୍ୟ ଜଘ୍ନୁସ୍ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ସ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରପତିସ୍ତାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି କିଂ କରିଷ୍ୟତି?
So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do to them?
16 ସ ଆଗତ୍ୟ ତାନ୍ କୃଷୀୱଲାନ୍ ହତ୍ୱା ପରେଷାଂ ହସ୍ତେଷୁ ତତ୍କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ ସମର୍ପଯିଷ୍ୟତି; ଇତି କଥାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ତେ ଽୱଦନ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶୀ ଘଟନା ନ ଭୱତୁ|
He shall come and destroy these vinedressers, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, may that never be.
17 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତାନୱଲୋକ୍ୟ ଜଗାଦ, ତର୍ହି, ସ୍ଥପତଯଃ କରିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ଗ୍ରାୱାଣଂ ଯନ୍ତୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛକଂ| ପ୍ରଧାନପ୍ରସ୍ତରଃ କୋଣେ ସ ଏୱ ହି ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି| ଏତସ୍ୟ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଯୱଚନସ୍ୟ କିଂ ତାତ୍ପର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ?
And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
18 ଅପରଂ ତତ୍ପାଷାଣୋପରି ଯଃ ପତିଷ୍ୟତି ସ ଭଂକ୍ଷ୍ୟତେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯସ୍ୟୋପରି ସ ପାଷାଣଃ ପତିଷ୍ୟତି ସ ତେନ ଧୂଲିୱଚ୍ ଚୂର୍ଣୀଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
Whoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
19 ସୋସ୍ମାକଂ ୱିରୁଦ୍ଧଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତମିମଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଇତି ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକାଶ୍ଚ ତଦୈୱ ତଂ ଧର୍ତୁଂ ୱୱାଞ୍ଛୁଃ କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୋକେଭ୍ୟୋ ବିଭ୍ୟୁଃ|
And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
20 ଅତଏୱ ତଂ ପ୍ରତି ସତର୍କାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ କଥଂ ତଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟଦୋଷଂ ଧୃତ୍ୱା ତଂ ଦେଶାଧିପସ୍ୟ ସାଧୁୱେଶଧାରିଣଶ୍ଚରାନ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପେ ପ୍ରେଷଯାମାସୁଃ|
And they watched him, and sent forth spies, who pretended to be righteous men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him to the power and authority of the governor.
21 ତଦା ତେ ତଂ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛୁଃ, ହେ ଉପଦେଶକ ଭୱାନ୍ ଯଥାର୍ଥଂ କଥଯନ୍ ଉପଦିଶତି, କମପ୍ୟନପେକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସତ୍ୟତ୍ୱେନୈଶ୍ୱରଂ ମାର୍ଗମୁପଦିଶତି, ୱଯମେତଜ୍ଜାନୀମଃ|
And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
22 କୈସରରାଜାଯ କରୋସ୍ମାଭି ର୍ଦେଯୋ ନ ୱା?
Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
23 ସ ତେଷାଂ ୱଞ୍ଚନଂ ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱାୱଦତ୍ କୁତୋ ମାଂ ପରୀକ୍ଷଧ୍ୱେ? ମାଂ ମୁଦ୍ରାମେକଂ ଦର୍ଶଯତ|
But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, Why tempt ye me?
24 ଇହ ଲିଖିତା ମୂର୍ତିରିଯଂ ନାମ ଚ କସ୍ୟ? ତେଽୱଦନ୍ କୈସରସ୍ୟ|
Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.
25 ତଦା ସ ଉୱାଚ, ତର୍ହି କୈସରସ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟଂ କୈସରାଯ ଦତ୍ତ; ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ତୁ ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟମୀଶ୍ୱରାଯ ଦତ୍ତ|
And he said to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and to God the things which are God’s.
26 ତସ୍ମାଲ୍ଲୋକାନାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ ତତ୍କଥାଯାଃ କମପି ଦୋଷଂ ଧର୍ତୁମପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ତେ ତସ୍ୟୋତ୍ତରାଦ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ ମନ୍ୟମାନା ମୌନିନସ୍ତସ୍ଥୁଃ|
And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦୁତ୍ଥାନାନଙ୍ଗୀକାରିଣାଂ ସିଦୂକିନାଂ କିଯନ୍ତୋ ଜନା ଆଗତ୍ୟ ତଂ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛୁଃ,
Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, who deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
28 ହେ ଉପଦେଶକ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରେ ମୂସା ଅସ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତୀତି ଲିଲେଖ ଯସ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତା ଭାର୍ୟ୍ୟାଯାଂ ସତ୍ୟାଂ ନିଃସନ୍ତାନୋ ମ୍ରିଯତେ ସ ତଜ୍ଜାଯାଂ ୱିୱହ୍ୟ ତଦ୍ୱଂଶମ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦଯିଷ୍ୟତି|
Saying, Master, Moses wrote to us, If any man’s brother should die, having a wife, and he should die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
29 ତଥାଚ କେଚିତ୍ ସପ୍ତ ଭ୍ରାତର ଆସନ୍ ତେଷାଂ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠୋ ଭ୍ରାତା ୱିୱହ୍ୟ ନିରପତ୍ୟଃ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ ଜହୌ|
There were therefore seven brothers: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
30 ଅଥ ଦ୍ୱିତୀଯସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଜାଯାଂ ୱିୱହ୍ୟ ନିରପତ୍ୟଃ ସନ୍ ମମାର| ତୃତୀଯଶ୍ଚ ତାମେୱ ୱ୍ୟୁୱାହ;
And the second took her for a wife, and he died childless.
31 ଇତ୍ଥଂ ସପ୍ତ ଭ୍ରାତରସ୍ତାମେୱ ୱିୱହ୍ୟ ନିରପତ୍ୟାଃ ସନ୍ତୋ ମମ୍ରୁଃ|
And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
32 ଶେଷେ ସା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଚ ମମାର|
Last of all the woman died also.
33 ଅତଏୱ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦୁତ୍ଥାନକାଲେ ତେଷାଂ ସପ୍ତଜନାନାଂ କସ୍ୟ ସା ଭାର୍ୟ୍ୟା ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି? ଯତଃ ସା ତେଷାଂ ସପ୍ତାନାମେୱ ଭାର୍ୟ୍ୟାସୀତ୍|
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her for a wife.
34 ତଦା ଯୀଶୁଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁୱାଚ, ଏତସ୍ୟ ଜଗତୋ ଲୋକା ୱିୱହନ୍ତି ୱାଗ୍ଦତ୍ତାଶ୍ଚ ଭୱନ୍ତି (aiōn g165)
And Jesus answering said to them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: (aiōn g165)
35 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ତଜ୍ଜଗତ୍ପ୍ରାପ୍ତିଯୋଗ୍ୟତ୍ୱେନ ଗଣିତାଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ଶ୍ମଶାନାଚ୍ଚୋତ୍ଥାସ୍ୟନ୍ତି ତେ ନ ୱିୱହନ୍ତି ୱାଗ୍ଦତ୍ତାଶ୍ଚ ନ ଭୱନ୍ତି, (aiōn g165)
But they who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: (aiōn g165)
36 ତେ ପୁନ ର୍ନ ମ୍ରିଯନ୍ତେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦୁତ୍ଥାପିତାଃ ସନ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନାଃ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗୀଯଦୂତାନାଂ ସଦୃଶାଶ୍ଚ ଭୱନ୍ତି|
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal to the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
37 ଅଧିକନ୍ତୁ ମୂସାଃ ସ୍ତମ୍ବୋପାଖ୍ୟାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଈବ୍ରାହୀମ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଇସ୍ହାକ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ଯାକୂବଶ୍ଚେଶ୍ୱର ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ମୃତାନାଂ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାନସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଲିଲେଖ|
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 ଅତଏୱ ଯ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସ ମୃତାନାଂ ପ୍ରଭୁ ର୍ନ କିନ୍ତୁ ଜୀୱତାମେୱ ପ୍ରଭୁଃ, ତନ୍ନିକଟେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଜୀୱନ୍ତଃ ସନ୍ତି|
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live to him.
39 ଇତି ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା କିଯନ୍ତୋଧ୍ୟାପକା ଊଚୁଃ, ହେ ଉପଦେଶକ ଭୱାନ୍ ଭଦ୍ରଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତୱାନ୍|
Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
40 ଇତଃ ପରଂ ତଂ କିମପି ପ୍ରଷ୍ଟଂ ତେଷାଂ ପ୍ରଗଲ୍ଭତା ନାଭୂତ୍|
And after that they dared not ask him any question at all.
41 ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ସ ତାନ୍ ଉୱାଚ, ଯଃ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଃ ସ ଦାଯୂଦଃ ସନ୍ତାନ ଏତାଂ କଥାଂ ଲୋକାଃ କଥଂ କଥଯନ୍ତି?
And he said to them, How say they that Christ is David’s son?
42 ଯତଃ ମମ ପ୍ରଭୁମିଦଂ ୱାକ୍ୟମୱଦତ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଃ| ତୱ ଶତ୍ରୂନହଂ ଯାୱତ୍ ପାଦପୀଠଂ କରୋମି ନ| ତାୱତ୍ କାଲଂ ମଦୀଯେ ତ୍ୱଂ ଦକ୍ଷପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ଉପାୱିଶ|
And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 ଇତି କଥାଂ ଦାଯୂଦ୍ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ଗୀତଗ୍ରନ୍ଥେଽୱଦତ୍|
Till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
44 ଅତଏୱ ଯଦି ଦାଯୂଦ୍ ତଂ ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ୱଦତି, ତର୍ହି ସ କଥଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନୋ ଭୱତି?
David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45 ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଯୀଶୁଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଜନାନାଂ କର୍ଣଗୋଚରେ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନୁୱାଚ,
Then in the hearing of all the people he said to his disciples,
46 ଯେଽଧ୍ୟାପକା ଦୀର୍ଘପରିଚ୍ଛଦଂ ପରିଧାଯ ଭ୍ରମନ୍ତି, ହଟ୍ଟାପଣଯୋ ର୍ନମସ୍କାରେ ଭଜନଗେହସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରୋଚ୍ଚାସନେ ଭୋଜନଗୃହସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଧାନସ୍ଥାନେ ଚ ପ୍ରୀଯନ୍ତେ
Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
47 ୱିଧୱାନାଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱସ୍ୱଂ ଗ୍ରସିତ୍ୱା ଛଲେନ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଲଂ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥଯନ୍ତେ ଚ ତେଷୁ ସାୱଧାନା ଭୱତ, ତେଷାମୁଗ୍ରଦଣ୍ଡୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
Who devour widows’ houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater condemnation.
