1 കരിന്ഥിനഃ 16

1 പവിത്രലോകാനാം കൃതേ യോഽർഥസംഗ്രഹസ്തമധി ഗാലാതീയദേശസ്യ സമാജാ മയാ യദ് ആദിഷ്ടാസ്തദ് യുഷ്മാഭിരപി ക്രിയതാം|

Now concerning the offering for the saints, you also are to do as I directed the church of Galatia.

2 മമാഗമനകാലേ യദ് അർഥസംഗ്രഹോ ന ഭവേത് തന്നിമിത്തം യുഷ്മാകമേകൈകേന സ്വസമ്പദാനുസാരാത് സഞ്ചയം കൃത്വാ സപ്താഹസ്യ പ്രഥമദിവസേ സ്വസമീപേ കിഞ്ചിത് നിക്ഷിപ്യതാം|

On the first day of each week let each of you put aside something, keeping it in store as he may prosper, so that when I come there may be no collections going on.

3 തതോ മമാഗമനസമയേ യൂയം യാനേവ വിശ്വാസ്യാ ഇതി വേദിഷ്യഥ തേഭ്യോഽഹം പത്രാണി ദത്ത്വാ യുഷ്മാകം തദ്ദാനസ്യ യിരൂശാലമം നയനാർഥം താൻ പ്രേഷയിഷ്യാമി|

On my arrival I will send those whom you may accredit by letter to carry your bounty to Jerusalem.

4 കിന്തു യദി തത്ര മമാപി ഗമനമ് ഉചിതം ഭവേത് തർഹി തേ മയാ സഹ യാസ്യന്തി|

And if it is worth while for me to go too, they will accompany me.

5 സാമ്പ്രതം മാകിദനിയാദേശമഹം പര്യ്യടാമി തം പര്യ്യട്യ യുഷ്മത്സമീപമ് ആഗമിഷ്യാമി|

Now I shall come to you after I have gone through Macedonia.

6 അനന്തരം കിം ജാനാമി യുഷ്മത്സന്നിധിമ് അവസ്ഥാസ്യേ ശീതകാലമപി യാപയിഷ്യാമി ച പശ്ചാത് മമ യത് സ്ഥാനം ഗന്തവ്യം തത്രൈവ യുഷ്മാഭിരഹം പ്രേരയിതവ്യഃ|

I shall remain some time with you; possibly spending the winter, in order that you may help me forward in whatever journey I take.

7 യതോഽഹം യാത്രാകാലേ ക്ഷണമാത്രം യുഷ്മാൻ ദ്രഷ്ടും നേച്ഛാമി കിന്തു പ്രഭു ര്യദ്യനുജാനീയാത് തർഹി കിഞ്ചിദ് ദീർഘകാലം യുഷ്മത്സമീപേ പ്രവസ്തുമ് ഇച്ഛാമി|

For I do not wish at this present time to see you merely in passing; but if the Lord permits, I hope to remain some time with you.

8 തഥാപി നിസ്താരോത്സവാത് പരം പഞ്ചാശത്തമദിനം യാവദ് ഇഫിഷപുര്യ്യാം സ്ഥാസ്യാമി|

I am staying for the present in Ephesus, until Pentecost;

9 യസ്മാദ് അത്ര കാര്യ്യസാധനാർഥം മമാന്തികേ ബൃഹദ് ദ്വാരം മുക്തം ബഹവോ വിപക്ഷാ അപി വിദ്യന്തേ|

for a door has opened to me, great and effectual, and the opponents are many.

10 തിമഥി ര്യദി യുഷ്മാകം സമീപമ് ആഗച്ഛേത് തർഹി യേന നിർഭയം യുഷ്മന്മധ്യേ വർത്തേത തത്ര യുഷ്മാഭി ർമനോ നിധീയതാം യസ്മാദ് അഹം യാദൃക് സോഽപി താദൃക് പ്രഭോഃ കർമ്മണേ യതതേ|

If Timothy come, see to it that he is among you without trepidation; for he is doing the Lord’s work, as I am, so let no one disparage him.

11 കോഽപി തം പ്രത്യനാദരം ന കരോതു കിന്തു സ മമാന്തികം യദ് ആഗന്തും ശക്നുയാത് തദർഥം യുഷ്മാഭിഃ സകുശലം പ്രേഷ്യതാം| ഭ്രാതൃഭിഃ സാർദ്ധമഹം തം പ്രതീക്ഷേ|

Whenever he comes to me, send him on his way in peace, for I am expecting him with the other brothers.

12 ആപല്ലും ഭ്രാതരമധ്യഹം നിവേദയാമി ഭ്രാതൃഭിഃ സാകം സോഽപി യദ് യുഷ്മാകം സമീപം വ്രജേത് തദർഥം മയാ സ പുനഃ പുനര്യാചിതഃ കിന്ത്വിദാനീം ഗമനം സർവ്വഥാ തസ്മൈ നാരോചത, ഇതഃപരം സുസമയം പ്രാപ്യ സ ഗമിഷ്യതി|

As for our Apollos, I have many times urged him to go to you with the others, but he was always unwilling to go to you at this time. He will come, however, whenever he has a good opportunity.

13 യൂയം ജാഗൃത വിശ്വാസേ സുസ്ഥിരാ ഭവത പൗരുഷം പ്രകാശയത ബലവന്തോ ഭവത|

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be manly, be strong.

14 യുഷ്മാഭിഃ സർവ്വാണി കർമ്മാണി പ്രേമ്നാ നിഷ്പാദ്യന്താം|

Let all that you do be done in love.

15 ഹേ ഭ്രാതരഃ, അഹം യുഷ്മാൻ ഇദമ് അഭിയാചേ സ്തിഫാനസ്യ പരിജനാ ആഖായാദേശസ്യ പ്രഥമജാതഫലസ്വരൂപാഃ, പവിത്രലോകാനാം പരിചര്യ്യായൈ ച ത ആത്മനോ ന്യവേദയൻ ഇതി യുഷ്മാഭി ർജ്ഞായതേ|

I beg you this, my brothers - you know the household of Stephanus, that they were the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they devoted themselves to the service of the saints -

16 അതോ യൂയമപി താദൃശലോകാനാമ് അസ്മത്സഹായാനാം ശ്രമകാരിണാഞ്ച സർവ്വേഷാം വശ്യാ ഭവത|

so I want you also to show deference to such, and to every fellow worker, and laborer.

17 സ്തിഫാനഃ ഫർത്തൂനാത ആഖായികശ്ച യദ് അത്രാഗമൻ തേനാഹമ് ആനന്ദാമി യതോ യുഷ്മാഭിര്യത് ന്യൂനിതം തത് തൈഃ സമ്പൂരിതം|

I am glad that Stephanus and Fortunatus and Achaicus have arrived, for they have made up for your absence.

18 തൈ ര്യുഷ്മാകം മമ ച മനാംസ്യാപ്യായിതാനി| തസ്മാത് താദൃശാ ലോകാ യുഷ്മാഭിഃ സമ്മന്തവ്യാഃ|

They refresh my spirit as they do yours. So cultivate the acquaintance of such men.

19 യുഷ്മഭ്യമ് ആശിയാദേശസ്ഥസമാജാനാം നമസ്കൃതിമ് ആക്കിലപ്രിസ്കില്ലയോസ്തന്മണ്ഡപസ്ഥസമിതേശ്ച ബഹുനമസ്കൃതിം പ്രജാനീത|

The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla (Prisca), with the church that meets in their house, greet you heartily in the Lord.

20 സർവ്വേ ഭ്രാതരോ യുഷ്മാൻ നമസ്കുർവ്വന്തേ| യൂയം പവിത്രചുമ്ബനേന മിഥോ നമത|

All the brothers send greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

21 പൗലോഽഹം സ്വകരലിഖിതം നമസ്കൃതിം യുഷ്മാൻ വേദയേ|

The greeting of me, Paul, with my own hand.

22 യദി കശ്ചിദ് യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടേ ന പ്രീയതേ തർഹി സ ശാപഗ്രസ്തോ ഭവേത് പ്രഭുരായാതി|

If any one does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord is coming.

23 അസ്മാകം പ്രഭോ ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യാനുഗ്രഹോ യുഷ്മാൻ പ്രതി ഭൂയാത്|

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

24 ഖ്രീഷ്ടം യീശുമ് ആശ്രിതാൻ യുഷ്മാൻ പ്രതി മമ പ്രേമ തിഷ്ഠതു| ഇതി||

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.
