1 តទា ករសញ្ចាយិនះ បាបិនឝ្ច លោកា ឧបទេឝ្កថាំ ឝ្រោតុំ យីឝោះ សមីបម៑ អាគច្ឆន៑។
Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.
2 តតះ ផិរូឝិន ឧបាធ្យាយាឝ្ច វិវទមានាះ កថយាមាសុះ ឯឞ មានុឞះ បាបិភិះ សហ ប្រណយំ ក្ឫត្វា តៃះ សាទ៌្ធំ ភុំក្តេ។
The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, "This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them."
3 តទា ស តេភ្យ ឥមាំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដាន្តកថាំ កថិតវាន៑,
He told them this parable.
4 កស្យចិត៑ ឝតមេឞេឞុ តិឞ្ឋត្មុ តេឞាមេកំ ស យទិ ហារយតិ តហ៌ិ មធ្យេប្រាន្តរម៑ ឯកោនឝតមេឞាន៑ វិហាយ ហារិតមេឞស្យ ឧទ្ទេឝប្រាប្តិបយ៌្យនតំ ន គវេឞយតិ, ឯតាទ្ឫឝោ លោកោ យុឞ្មាកំ មធ្យេ ក អាស្តេ?
"Which one of you, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, would not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?
5 តស្យោទ្ទេឝំ ប្រាប្យ ហ្ឫឞ្ដមនាស្តំ ស្កន្ធេ និធាយ ស្វស្ថានម៑ អានីយ ពន្ធុពាន្ធវសមីបវាសិន អាហូយ វក្តិ,
When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 ហារិតំ មេឞំ ប្រាប្តោហម៑ អតោ ហេតោ រ្មយា សាទ៌្ធម៑ អានន្ទត។
When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.'
7 តទ្វទហំ យុឞ្មាន៑ វទាមិ, យេឞាំ មនះបរាវត៌្តនស្យ ប្រយោជនំ នាស្តិ, តាទ្ឫឝៃកោនឝតធាម៌្មិកការណាទ៑ យ អានន្ទស្តស្មាទ៑ ឯកស្យ មនះបរិវត៌្តិនះ បាបិនះ ការណាត៑ ស្វគ៌េ ៜធិកានន្ទោ ជាយតេ។
I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.
8 អបរញ្ច ទឝានាំ រូប្យខណ្ឌានាម៑ ឯកខណ្ឌេ ហារិតេ ប្រទីបំ ប្រជ្វាល្យ គ្ឫហំ សម្មាជ៌្យ តស្យ ប្រាប្តិំ យាវទ៑ យត្នេន ន គវេឞយតិ, ឯតាទ្ឫឝី យោឞិត៑ កាស្តេ?
Or what woman, if she had ten drachma coins, if she lost one drachma coin, would not light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it?
9 ប្រាប្តេ សតិ ពន្ធុពាន្ធវសមីបវាសិនីរាហូយ កថយតិ, ហារិតំ រូប្យខណ្ឌំ ប្រាប្តាហំ តស្មាទេវ មយា សាទ៌្ធម៑ អានន្ទត។
When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.'
10 តទ្វទហំ យុឞ្មាន៑ វ្យាហរាមិ, ឯកេន បាបិនា មនសិ បរិវត៌្តិតេ, ឦឝ្វរស្យ ទូតានាំ មធ្យេប្យានន្ទោ ជាយតេ។
Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting."
11 អបរញ្ច ស កថយាមាស, កស្យចិទ៑ ទ្វៅ បុត្រាវាស្តាំ,
He said, "A certain man had two sons.
12 តយោះ កនិឞ្ឋះ បុត្រះ បិត្រេ កថយាមាស, ហេ បិតស្តវ សម្បត្ត្យា យមំឝំ ប្រាប្ស្យាម្យហំ វិភជ្យ តំ ទេហិ, តតះ បិតា និជាំ សម្បត្តិំ វិភជ្យ តាភ្យាំ ទទៅ។
The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of your property.' He divided his livelihood between them.
13 កតិបយាត៑ កាលាត៑ បរំ ស កនិឞ្ឋបុត្រះ សមស្តំ ធនំ សំគ្ឫហ្យ ទូរទេឝំ គត្វា ទុឞ្ដាចរណេន សវ៌្វាំ សម្បត្តិំ នាឝយាមាស។
Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and traveled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.
14 តស្យ សវ៌្វធនេ វ្យយំ គតេ តទ្ទេឝេ មហាទុព៌្ហិក្ឞំ ពភូវ, តតស្តស្យ ទៃន្យទឝា ភវិតុម៑ អារេភេ។
When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.
15 តតះ បរំ ស គត្វា តទ្ទេឝីយំ គ្ឫហស្ថមេកម៑ អាឝ្រយត; តតះ សតំ ឝូករវ្រជំ ចារយិតុំ ប្រាន្តរំ ប្រេឞយាមាស។
He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.
16 កេនាបិ តស្មៃ ភក្ឞ្យាទានាត៑ ស ឝូករផលវល្កលេន បិចិណ្ឌបូរណាំ វវាញ្ឆ។
And he wanted to fill himself with the carob pods that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.
17 ឝេឞេ ស មនសិ ចេតនាំ ប្រាប្យ កថយាមាស, ហា មម បិតុះ សមីបេ កតិ កតិ វេតនភុជោ ទាសា យថេឞ្ដំ តតោធិកញ្ច ភក្ឞ្យំ ប្រាប្នុវន្តិ កិន្ត្វហំ ក្ឞុធា មុមូឞ៌ុះ។
But when he came to himself he said, 'How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough to spare, and I'm dying here with hunger.
18 អហមុត្ថាយ បិតុះ សមីបំ គត្វា កថាមេតាំ វទិឞ្យាមិ, ហេ បិតរ៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ តវ ច វិរុទ្ធំ បាបមករវម្
I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.
19 តវ បុត្រឥតិ វិខ្យាតោ ភវិតុំ ន យោគ្យោស្មិ ច, មាំ តវ វៃតនិកំ ទាសំ ក្ឫត្វា ស្ថាបយ។
I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'
20 បឝ្ចាត៑ ស ឧត្ថាយ បិតុះ សមីបំ ជគាម; តតស្តស្យ បិតាតិទូរេ តំ និរីក្ឞ្យ ទយាញ្ចក្រេ, ធាវិត្វា តស្យ កណ្ឋំ គ្ឫហីត្វា តំ ចុចុម្ព ច។
"He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 តទា បុត្រ ឧវាច, ហេ បិតរ៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ តវ ច វិរុទ្ធំ បាបមករវំ, តវ បុត្រឥតិ វិខ្យាតោ ភវិតុំ ន យោគ្យោស្មិ ច។
The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
22 កិន្តុ តស្យ បិតា និជទាសាន៑ អាទិទេឝ, សវ៌្វោត្តមវស្ត្រាណ្យានីយ បរិធាបយតៃនំ ហស្តេ ចាង្គុរីយកម៑ អប៌យត បាទយោឝ្ចោបានហៅ សមប៌យត;
"But the father said to his servants, 'Quickly, bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.
23 បុឞ្ដំ គោវត្សម៑ អានីយ មារយត ច តំ ភុក្ត្វា វយម៑ អានន្ទាម។
Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;
24 យតោ មម បុត្រោយម៑ អម្រិយត បុនរជីវីទ៑ ហារិតឝ្ច លព្ធោភូត៑ តតស្ត អានន្ទិតុម៑ អារេភិរេ។
for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.' They began to celebrate.
25 តត្កាលេ តស្យ ជ្យេឞ្ឋះ បុត្រះ ក្ឞេត្រ អាសីត៑។ អថ ស និវេឝនស្យ និកដំ អាគច្ឆន៑ ន្ឫត្យានាំ វាទ្យានាញ្ច ឝព្ទំ ឝ្រុត្វា
"Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 ទាសានាម៑ ឯកម៑ អាហូយ បប្រច្ឆ, កិំ ការណមស្យ?
He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on.
27 តតះ សោវាទីត៑, តវ ភ្រាតាគមត៑, តវ តាតឝ្ច តំ សុឝរីរំ ប្រាប្យ បុឞ្ដំ គោវត្សំ មារិតវាន៑។
He said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.'
28 តតះ ស ប្រកុប្យ និវេឝនាន្តះ ប្រវេឞ្ដុំ ន សម្មេនេ; តតស្តស្យ បិតា ពហិរាគត្យ តំ សាធយាមាស។
But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and pleaded with him.
29 តតះ ស បិតរំ ប្រត្យុវាច, បឝ្យ តវ កាញ្ចិទប្យាជ្ញាំ ន វិលំឃ្យ ពហូន៑ វត្សរាន៑ អហំ ត្វាំ សេវេ តថាបិ មិត្រៃះ សាទ៌្ធម៑ ឧត្សវំ កត៌្តុំ កទាបិ ឆាគមេកមបិ មហ្យំ នាទទាះ;
But he answered his father, 'Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.
30 កិន្តុ តវ យះ បុត្រោ វេឝ្យាគមនាទិភិស្តវ សម្បត្តិម៑ អបវ្យយិតវាន៑ តស្មិន្នាគតមាត្រេ តស្យៃវ និមិត្តំ បុឞ្ដំ គោវត្សំ មារិតវាន៑។
But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'
31 តទា តស្យ បិតាវោចត៑, ហេ បុត្រ ត្វំ សវ៌្វទា មយា សហាសិ តស្មាន៑ មម យទ្យទាស្តេ តត្សវ៌្វំ តវ។
"He said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.
32 កិន្តុ តវាយំ ភ្រាតា ម្ឫតះ បុនរជីវីទ៑ ហារិតឝ្ច ភូត្វា ប្រាប្តោភូត៑, ឯតស្មាត៑ ការណាទ៑ ឧត្សវានន្ទៅ កត៌្តុម៑ ឧចិតមស្មាកម៑។
But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this brother of yours was dead and is alive; and he was lost, and is found.'"
