પ્રકાશિતં 21
1 અનન્તરં નવીનમ્ આકાશમણ્ડલં નવીના પૃથિવી ચ મયા દૃષ્ટે યતઃ પ્રથમમ્ આકાશમણ્ડલં પ્રથમા પૃથિવી ચ લોપં ગતે સમુદ્રો ઽપિ તતઃ પરં ન વિદ્યતે|
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more.
2 અપરં સ્વર્ગાદ્ અવરોહન્તી પવિત્રા નગરી, અર્થતો નવીના યિરૂશાલમપુરી મયા દૃષ્ટા, સા વરાય વિભૂષિતા કન્યેવ સુસજ્જિતાસીત્|
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 અનન્તરં સ્વર્ગાદ્ એષ મહારવો મયા શ્રુતઃ પશ્યાયં માનવૈઃ સાર્દ્ધમ્ ઈશ્વરસ્યાવાસઃ, સ તૈઃ સાર્દ્ધં વત્સ્યતિ તે ચ તસ્ય પ્રજા ભવિષ્યન્તિ, ઈશ્વરશ્ચ સ્વયં તેષામ્ ઈશ્વરો ભૂત્વા તૈઃ સાર્દ્ધં સ્થાસ્યતિ|
And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God.
4 તેષાં નેત્રેભ્યશ્ચાશ્રૂણિ સર્વ્વાણીશ્વરેણ પ્રમાર્ક્ષ્યન્તે મૃત્યુરપિ પુન ર્ન ભવિષ્યતિ શોકવિલાપક્લેશા અપિ પુન ર્ન ભવિષ્યન્તિ, યતઃ પ્રથમાનિ સર્વ્વાણિ વ્યતીતિનિ|
And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.
5 અપરં સિંહાસનોપવિષ્ટો જનોઽવદત્ પશ્યાહં સર્વ્વાણિ નૂતનીકરોમિ| પુનરવદત્ લિખ યત ઇમાનિ વાક્યાનિ સત્યાનિ વિશ્વાસ્યાનિ ચ સન્તિ|
And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says [to me], Write, for these words are true and faithful.
6 પન ર્મામ્ અવદત્ સમાપ્તં, અહં કઃ ક્ષશ્ચ, અહમ્ આદિરન્તશ્ચ યઃ પિપાસતિ તસ્મા અહં જીવનદાયિપ્રસ્રવણસ્ય તોયં વિનામૂલ્યં દાસ્યામિ|
And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 યો જયતિ સ સર્વ્વેષામ્ અધિકારી ભવિષ્યતિ, અહઞ્ચ તસ્યેશ્વરો ભવિષ્યામિ સ ચ મમ પુત્રો ભવિષ્યતિ|
He that overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me son.
9 અનન્તરં શેષસપ્તદણ્ડૈઃ પરિપૂર્ણાઃ સપ્ત કંસા યેષાં સપ્તદૂતાનાં કરેષ્વાસન્ તેષામેક આગત્ય માં સમ્ભાષ્યાવદત્, આગચ્છાહં તાં કન્યામ્ અર્થતો મેષશાવકસ્ય ભાવિભાર્ય્યાં ત્વાં દર્શયામિ|
And there came one of the seven angels which had had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come here, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 તતઃ સ આત્માવિષ્ટં મામ્ અત્યુચ્ચં મહાપર્વ્વતમેંક નીત્વેશ્વરસ્ય સન્નિધિતઃ સ્વર્ગાદ્ અવરોહન્તીં યિરૂશાલમાખ્યાં પવિત્રાં નગરીં દર્શિતવાન્|
And he carried me away in [the] Spirit, [and set me] on a great and high mountain, and shewed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God,
11 સા ઈશ્વરીયપ્રતાપવિશિષ્ટા તસ્યાસ્તેજો મહાર્ઘરત્નવદ્ અર્થતઃ સૂર્ય્યકાન્તમણિતેજસ્તુલ્યં|
having the glory of God. Her shining [was] like a most precious stone, as a crystal-like jasper stone;
12 તસ્યાઃ પ્રાચીરં બૃહદ્ ઉચ્ચઞ્ચ તત્ર દ્વાદશ ગોપુરાણિ સન્તિ તદ્ગોપુરોપરિ દ્વાદશ સ્વર્ગદૂતા વિદ્યન્તે તત્ર ચ દ્વાદશ નામાન્યર્થત ઇસ્રાયેલીયાનાં દ્વાદશવંશાનાં નામાનિ લિખિતાનિ|
having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are those of the twelve tribes of [the] sons of Israel.
13 પૂર્વ્વદિશિ ત્રીણિ ગોપુરાણિ ઉત્તરદિશિ ત્રીણિ ગોપુરાણિ દક્ષિણદિષિ ત્રીણિ ગોપુરાણિ પશ્ચીમદિશિ ચ ત્રીણિ ગોપુરાણિ સન્તિ|
On [the] east three gates; and on [the] north three gates; and on [the] south three gates; and on [the] west three gates.
14 નગર્ય્યાઃ પ્રાચીરસ્ય દ્વાદશ મૂલાનિ સન્તિ તત્ર મેષાશાવાકસ્ય દ્વાદશપ્રેરિતાનાં દ્વાદશ નામાનિ લિખિતાનિ|
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 અનરં નગર્ય્યાસ્તદીયગોપુરાણાં તત્પ્રાચીરસ્ય ચ માપનાર્થં મયા સમ્ભાષમાણસ્ય દૂતસ્ય કરે સ્વર્ણમય એકઃ પરિમાણદણ્ડ આસીત્|
And he that spoke with me had a golden reed [as] a measure, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 નગર્ય્યા આકૃતિશ્ચતુરસ્રા તસ્યા દૈર્ઘ્યપ્રસ્થે સમે| તતઃ પરં સ તેગ પરિમાણદણ્ડેન તાં નગરીં પરિમિતવાન્ તસ્યાઃ પરિમાણં દ્વાદશસહસ્રનલ્વાઃ| તસ્યા દૈર્ઘ્યં પ્રસ્થમ્ ઉચ્ચત્વઞ્ચ સમાનાનિ|
And the city lies four-square, and its length [is] as much as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed — twelve thousand stadia: the length and the breadth and height of it are equal.
17 અપરં સ તસ્યાઃ પ્રાચીરં પરિમિતવાન્ તસ્ય માનવાસ્યાર્થતો દૂતસ્ય પરિમાણાનુસારતસ્તત્ ચતુશ્ચત્વારિંશદધિકાશતહસ્તપરિમિતં |
And he measured its wall, a hundred [and] forty-four cubits, [a] man's measure, that is, [the] angel's.
18 તસ્ય પ્રાચીરસ્ય નિર્મ્મિતિઃ સૂર્ય્યકાન્તમણિભિ ર્નગરી ચ નિર્મ્મલકાચતુલ્યેન શુદ્ધસુવર્ણેન નિર્મ્મિતા|
And the building of its wall [was] jasper; and the city pure gold, like pure glass:
19 નગર્ય્યાઃ પ્રાચીરસ્ય મૂલાનિ ચ સર્વ્વવિધમહાર્ઘમણિભિ ર્ભૂષિતાનિ| તેષાં પ્રથમં ભિત્તિમૂલં સૂર્ય્યકાન્તસ્ય, દ્વિતીયં નીલસ્ય, તૃતીયં તામ્રમણેઃ, ચતુર્થં મરકતસ્ય,
the foundations of the wall of the city [were] adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20 પઞ્ચમં વૈદૂર્ય્યસ્ય, ષષ્ઠં શોણરત્નસ્ય, સપ્તમં ચન્દ્રકાન્તસ્ય, અષ્ટમં ગોમેદસ્ય, નવમં પદ્મરાગસ્ય, દશમં લશૂનીયસ્ય, એકાદશં ષેરોજસ્ય, દ્વાદશં મર્ટીષ્મણેશ્ચાસ્તિ|
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 દ્વાદશગોપુરાણિ દ્વાદશમુક્તાભિ ર્નિર્મ્મિતાનિ, એકૈકં ગોપુરમ્ એકૈકયા મુક્તયા કૃતં નગર્ય્યા મહામાર્ગશ્ચાચ્છકાચવત્ નિર્મ્મલસુવર્ણેન નિર્મ્મિતં|
And the twelve gates, twelve pearls; each one of the gates, respectively, was of one pearl; and the street of the city pure gold, as transparent glass.
22 તસ્યા અન્તર એકમપિ મન્દિરં મયા ન દૃષ્ટં સતઃ સર્વ્વશક્તિમાન્ પ્રભુઃ પરમેશ્વરો મેષશાવકશ્ચ સ્વયં તસ્ય મન્દિરં|
And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.
23 તસ્યૈ નગર્ય્યૈ દીપ્તિદાનાર્થં સૂર્ય્યાચન્દ્રમસોઃ પ્રયોજનં નાસ્તિ યત ઈશ્વરસ્ય પ્રતાપસ્તાં દીપયતિ મેષશાવકશ્ચ તસ્યા જ્યોતિરસ્તિ|
And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should shine for it; for the glory of God has enlightened it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb.
24 પરિત્રાણપ્રાપ્તલોકનિવહાશ્ચ તસ્યા આલોકે ગમનાગમને કુર્વ્વન્તિ પૃથિવ્યા રાજાનશ્ચ સ્વકીયં પ્રતાપં ગૌરવઞ્ચ તન્મધ્યમ્ આનયન્તિ|
And the nations shall walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to it.
25 તસ્યા દ્વારાણિ દિવા કદાપિ ન રોત્સ્યન્તે નિશાપિ તત્ર ન ભવિષ્યતિ|
And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.
26 સર્વ્વજાતીનાં ગૌરવપ્રતાપૌ તન્મધ્યમ્ આનેષ્યેતે|
And they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations to it.
27 પરન્ત્વપવિત્રં ઘૃણ્યકૃદ્ અનૃતકૃદ્ વા કિમપિ તન્મધ્યં ન પ્રવેક્ષ્યતિ મેષશાવકસ્ય જીવનપુસ્તકે યેષાં નામાનિ લિખિતાનિ કેવલં ત એવ પ્રવેક્ષ્યન્તિ|
And nothing common, nor that maketh an abomination and a lie, shall at all enter into it; but those only who [are] written in the book of life of the Lamb.
