1 ১ অপরঞ্চ পীলাতো যেষাং গালীলীযানাং রক্তানি বলীনাং রক্তৈঃ সহামিশ্রযৎ তেষাং গালীলীযানাং ৱৃত্তান্তং কতিপযজনা উপস্থাপ্য যীশৱে কথযামাসুঃ|
Now there were present some, in that very season, bringing tidings to him, concerning the Galilaeans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 ২ ততঃ স প্রত্যুৱাচ তেষাং লোকানাম্ এতাদৃশী দুর্গতি র্ঘটিতা তৎকারণাদ্ যূযং কিমন্যেভ্যো গালীলীযেভ্যোপ্যধিকপাপিনস্তান্ বোধধ্ৱে?
And, answering, he said unto them—Suppose ye, that, these Galilaeans, had become, sinners beyond all the Galilaeans, because, these things, they have suffered?
Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in like manner, shall perish.
4 ৪ অপরঞ্চ শীলোহনাম্ন উচ্চগৃহস্য পতনাদ্ যেঽষ্টাদশজনা মৃতাস্তে যিরূশালমি নিৱাসিসর্ৱ্ৱলোকেভ্যোঽধিকাপরাধিনঃ কিং যূযমিত্যং বোধধ্ৱে?
Or, those eighteen, upon whom fell the tower in Siloam, and slew them, suppose ye that, they, had become, debtors, beyond all the men who were dwelling in Jerusalem?
Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in the same way, shall perish.
6 ৬ অনন্তরং স ইমাং দৃষ্টান্তকথামকথযদ্ একো জনো দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রমধ্য একমুডুম্বরৱৃক্ষং রোপিতৱান্| পশ্চাৎ স আগত্য তস্মিন্ ফলানি গৱেষযামাস,
And he went on to speak this parable: —A certain man had, a fig-tree, planted in his vineyard, and he canto seeking fruit therein, and found none.
7 ৭ কিন্তু ফলাপ্রাপ্তেঃ কারণাদ্ উদ্যানকারং ভৃত্যং জগাদ, পশ্য ৱৎসরত্রযং যাৱদাগত্য এতস্মিন্নুডুম্বরতরৌ ক্ষলান্যন্ৱিচ্ছামি, কিন্তু নৈকমপি প্রপ্নোমি তরুরযং কুতো ৱৃথা স্থানং ৱ্যাপ্য তিষ্ঠতি? এনং ছিন্ধি|
And he said unto the vine-dresser—Lo! three years, I come, seeking fruit in this fig-tree, and find none. Cut it down! Why doth it make, even the round useless?
8 ৮ ততো ভৃত্যঃ প্রত্যুৱাচ, হে প্রভো পুনর্ৱর্ষমেকং স্থাতুম্ আদিশ; এতস্য মূলস্য চতুর্দিক্ষু খনিৎৱাহম্ আলৱালং স্থাপযামি|
And, he, answering, saith unto him—Sir! let it alone this year also, until such time as I dig about it, and throw in manure, —
and if it may bear fruit for the future; …but, otherwise, certainly, thou shalt cut it down.
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues, on the Sabbath.
11 ১১ তস্মিৎ সমযে ভূতগ্রস্তৎৱাৎ কুব্জীভূযাষ্টাদশৱর্ষাণি যাৱৎ কেনাপ্যুপাযেন ঋজু র্ভৱিতুং ন শক্নোতি যা দুর্ব্বলা স্ত্রী,
And lo! a woman, having a spirit of weakness eighteen years, —and was bowed together, and unable to lift herself up, at all.
And, seeing her, Jesus called her and said to her—Woman! thou art loosed from thy weakness, —
and laid on her his hands; and, instantly, she was made straight again, and began glorifying God.
14 ১৪ কিন্তু ৱিশ্রামৱারে যীশুনা তস্যাঃ স্ৱাস্থ্যকরণাদ্ ভজনগেহস্যাধিপতিঃ প্রকুপ্য লোকান্ উৱাচ, ষট্সু দিনেষু লোকৈঃ কর্ম্ম কর্ত্তৱ্যং তস্মাদ্ধেতোঃ স্ৱাস্থ্যার্থং তেষু দিনেষু আগচ্ছত, ৱিশ্রামৱারে মাগচ্ছত|
But the synagogue-ruler, answering, being greatly displeased that, on the Sabbath, Jesus had healed, began saying unto the multitude—Six days, there are, in which men ought to get their work done; On them, therefore, come and be healed, and, not on the day of rest.
15 ১৫ তদা পভুঃ প্রত্যুৱাচ রে কপটিনো যুষ্মাকম্ একৈকো জনো ৱিশ্রামৱারে স্ৱীযং স্ৱীযং ৱৃষভং গর্দভং ৱা বন্ধনান্মোচযিৎৱা জলং পাযযিতুং কিং ন নযতি?
The Lord answered him, and said—Hypocrites! Doth not, each one of you, on the Sabbath, loose his ox or ass from the manger, and, leading it away, give it drink?
16 ১৬ তর্হ্যাষ্টাদশৱৎসরান্ যাৱৎ শৈতানা বদ্ধা ইব্রাহীমঃ সন্ততিরিযং নারী কিং ৱিশ্রামৱারে ন মোচযিতৱ্যা?
But, this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo! eighteen years, was there not a needs-be that she should be loosed from this bond, on the day of rest?
17 ১৭ এষু ৱাক্যেষু কথিতেষু তস্য ৱিপক্ষাঃ সলজ্জা জাতাঃ কিন্তু তেন কৃতসর্ৱ্ৱমহাকর্ম্মকারণাৎ লোকনিৱহঃ সানন্দোঽভৱৎ|
And, as he was saying, these, things, all who had been setting themselves against him were being put to shame; and, all the multitude, were rejoicing over all the glorious things which were being brought to pass by him.
He went on to say, therefore—Whereunto, is the kingdom of God, like? And, whereunto, shall I liken it?
19 ১৯ যৎ সর্ষপবীজং গৃহীৎৱা কশ্চিজ্জন উদ্যান উপ্তৱান্ তদ্ বীজমঙ্কুরিতং সৎ মহাৱৃক্ষোঽজাযত, ততস্তস্য শাখাসু ৱিহাযসীযৱিহগা আগত্য ন্যূষুঃ, তদ্রাজ্যং তাদৃশেন সর্ষপবীজেন তুল্যং|
It is, like, unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree, and, the birds of heaven, lodged amongst its branches.
20 ২০ পুনঃ কথযামাস, ঈশ্ৱরস্য রাজ্যং কস্য সদৃশং ৱদিষ্যামি? যৎ কিণ্ৱং কাচিৎ স্ত্রী গৃহীৎৱা দ্রোণত্রযপরিমিতগোধূমচূর্ণেষু স্থাপযামাস,
And, again, he said—Whereunto, shall I liken the kingdom of God?
It is, like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until, the whole, was leavened.
And he was journeying on, city by city and village by village, and making, progress, unto Jerusalem.
And one said unto him—Lord! are they, few, who are being saved? And, he, said unto them—
24 ২৪ ততঃ স লোকান্ উৱাচ, সংকীর্ণদ্ৱারেণ প্রৱেষ্টুং যতঘ্ৱং, যতোহং যুষ্মান্ ৱদামি, বহৱঃ প্রৱেষ্টুং চেষ্টিষ্যন্তে কিন্তু ন শক্ষ্যন্তি|
Be striving to enter through the narrow door; for, many, I say unto you, will seek to enter, and will not be able, —
25 ২৫ গৃহপতিনোত্থায দ্ৱারে রুদ্ধে সতি যদি যূযং বহিঃ স্থিৎৱা দ্ৱারমাহত্য ৱদথ, হে প্রভো হে প্রভো অস্মৎকারণাদ্ দ্ৱারং মোচযতু, ততঃ স ইতি প্রতিৱক্ষ্যতি, যূযং কুত্রত্যা লোকা ইত্যহং ন জানামি|
when once the householder shall rouse himself, and lock the door, and ye begin to stand, outside, and to knock at the door, saying—Lord! open to us; and he shall answer and say unto you—I know you not, whence ye are.
26 ২৬ তদা যূযং ৱদিষ্যথ, তৱ সাক্ষাদ্ ৱযং ভেজনং পানঞ্চ কৃতৱন্তঃ, ৎৱঞ্চাস্মাকং নগরস্য পথি সমুপদিষ্টৱান্|
Then, will ye begin to say—We did eat and drink in thy presence, and, in our broadways, thou didst, teach;
27 ২৭ কিন্তু স ৱক্ষ্যতি, যুষ্মানহং ৱদামি, যূযং কুত্রত্যা লোকা ইত্যহং ন জানামি; হে দুরাচারিণো যূযং মত্তো দূরীভৱত|
And he will speak, saying unto you—I know not whence ye are; Depart from me, all workers of unrighteous—
28 ২৮ তদা ইব্রাহীমং ইস্হাকং যাকূবঞ্চ সর্ৱ্ৱভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনশ্চ ঈশ্ৱরস্য রাজ্যং প্রাপ্তান্ স্ৱাংশ্চ বহিষ্কৃতান্ দৃষ্ট্ৱা যূযং রোদনং দন্তৈর্দন্তঘর্ষণঞ্চ করিষ্যথ|
There, will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, as soon as ye see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and, yourselves, being thrust forth outside.
And they shall have come from east and west, and from north and south, and be made recline in the kingdom of God.
And lo! there are, last, who shall be, first, and there are, first, who shall be, last;
31 ৩১ অপরঞ্চ তস্মিন্ দিনে কিযন্তঃ ফিরূশিন আগত্য যীশুং প্রোচুঃ, বহির্গচ্ছ, স্থানাদস্মাৎ প্রস্থানং কুরু, হেরোদ্ ৎৱাং জিঘাংসতি|
In that very hour, came near certain Pharisees, saying unto him, Go forth, and be journeying hence, because, Herod, desireth to slay thee.
32 ৩২ ততঃ স প্রত্যৱোচৎ পশ্যতাদ্য শ্ৱশ্চ ভূতান্ ৱিহাপ্য রোগিণোঽরোগিণঃ কৃৎৱা তৃতীযেহ্নি সেৎস্যামি, কথামেতাং যূযমিৎৱা তং ভূরিমাযং ৱদত|
And he said unto them—Go and tell this fox, Lo! I am casting out demons, and, cures, am I finishing, to-day, and to-morrow, —
33 ৩৩ তত্রাপ্যদ্য শ্ৱঃ পরশ্ৱশ্চ মযা গমনাগমনে কর্ত্তৱ্যে, যতো হেতো র্যিরূশালমো বহিঃ কুত্রাপি কোপি ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী ন ঘানিষ্যতে|
and, on the third, I am to be made perfect. Nevertheless, I must needs, to-day, and tomorrow, and the following, be journeying on, because it is impossible that a prophet perish, outside Jerusalem.
34 ৩৪ হে যিরূশালম্ হে যিরূশালম্ ৎৱং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনো হংসি তৱান্তিকে প্রেরিতান্ প্রস্তরৈর্মারযসি চ, যথা কুক্কুটী নিজপক্ষাধঃ স্ৱশাৱকান্ সংগৃহ্লাতি, তথাহমপি তৱ শিশূন্ সংগ্রহীতুং কতিৱারান্ ঐচ্ছং কিন্তু ৎৱং নৈচ্ছঃ|
Jerusalem! Jerusalem! she that slayeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! How often, have I desired to gather together thy children, like as a hen, her own brood, under her wings, —and ye did not desire!
35 ৩৫ পশ্যত যুষ্মাকং ৱাসস্থানানি প্রোচ্ছিদ্যমানানি পরিত্যক্তানি চ ভৱিষ্যন্তি; যুষ্মানহং যথার্থং ৱদামি, যঃ প্রভো র্নাম্নাগচ্ছতি স ধন্য ইতি ৱাচং যাৱৎকালং ন ৱদিষ্যথ, তাৱৎকালং যূযং মাং ন দ্রক্ষ্যথ|
Lo! your house is left to you. [And] I say unto you—In nowise shall ye see me, until ye say, —Blessed, is he that cometh in the name of the Lord!
