К Титу 2
1 Ты же говори то, что сообразно с здравым учением:
But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:
2 чтобы старцы были бдительны, степенны, целомудренны, здравы в вере, в любви, в терпении;
that aged men be temperate, grave, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:
3 чтобы старицы также одевались прилично святым, не были клеветницы, не порабощались пьянству, учили добру;
that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;
4 чтобы вразумляли молодых любить мужей, любить детей,
that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 быть целомудренными, чистыми, попечительными о доме, добрыми, покорными своим мужьям, да не порицается слово Божие.
[to be] sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
6 Юношей также увещевай быть целомудренными.
the younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded:
7 Во всем показывай в себе образец добрых дел, в учительстве чистоту, степенность, неповрежденность,
in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine [showing] uncorruptness, gravity,
8 слово здравое, неукоризненное, чтобы противник был посрамлен, не имея ничего сказать о нас худого.
sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.
9 Рабов увещевай повиноваться своим господам, угождать им во всем, не прекословить,
[Exhort] servants to be in subjection to their own masters, [and] to be well-pleasing [to them] in all things; not gainsaying;
10 не красть, но оказывать всю добрую верность, дабы они во всем были украшением учению Спасителя нашего, Бога.
not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Ибо явилась благодать Божия, спасительная для всех человеков,
For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
12 научающая нас, чтобы мы, отвергнув нечестие и мирские похоти, целомудренно, праведно и благочестиво жили в нынешнем веке, (aiōn g165)
instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; (aiōn g165)
13 ожидая блаженного упования и явления славы великого Бога и Спасителя нашего Иисуса Христа,
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Который дал Себя за нас, чтобы избавить нас от всякого беззакония и очистить Себе народ особенный, ревностный к добрым делам.
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.
15 Сие говори, увещевай и обличай со всякою властью, чтобы никто не пренебрегал тебя.
These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
