Псалтирь 94
1 Псалом Давида в четвертый день недели. Боже отмщений, Господи, Боже отмщений, яви Себя!
O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Восстань, Судия земли, воздай возмездие гордым.
Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.
3 Доколе, Господи, нечестивые, доколе нечестивые торжествовать будут?
How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?
4 Они изрыгают дерзкие речи; величаются все делающие беззаконие;
They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.
5 попирают народ Твой, Господи, угнетают наследие Твое;
Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.
6 вдову и пришельца убивают, и сирот умерщвляют
The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.
7 и говорят: “не увидит Господь, и не узнает Бог Иаковлев”.
And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.
8 Образумьтесь, бессмысленные люди! когда вы будете умны, невежды?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!
9 Насадивший ухо не услышит ли? и образовавший глаз не увидит ли?
He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Вразумляющий народы неужели не обличит, - Тот, Кто учит человека разумению?
He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!
11 Господь знает мысли человеческие, что они суетны.
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.
12 Блажен человек, которого вразумляешь Ты, Господи, и наставляешь законом Твоим,
Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:
13 чтобы дать ему покой в бедственные дни, доколе нечестивому выроется яма!
That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.
14 Ибо не отринет Господь народа Своего и не оставит наследия Своего.
For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.
15 Ибо суд возвратится к правде, и за ним последуют все правые сердцем.
For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.
16 Кто восстанет за меня против злодеев? кто станет за меня против делающих беззаконие?
Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?
17 Если бы не Господь был мне помощником, вскоре вселилась бы душа моя в страну молчания.
Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.
18 Когда я говорил: “колеблется нога моя”, - милость Твоя, Господи, поддерживала меня.
When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.
19 При умножении скорбей моих в сердце моем, утешения Твои услаждают душу мою.
In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.
20 Станет ли близ Тебя седалище губителей, умышляющих насилие вопреки закону?
Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?
21 Толпою устремляются они на душу праведника и осуждают кровь неповинную.
They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.
22 Но Господь - защита моя, и Бог мой - твердыня убежища моего,
But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.
23 и обратит на них беззаконие их, и злодейством их истребит их, истребит их Господь Бог наш.
And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
