Псалтирь 72
1 О Соломоне. Боже! даруй царю Твой суд и сыну царя Твою правду,
“By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 да судит праведно людей Твоих и нищих Твоих на суде;
He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
3 да принесут горы мир людям и холмы правду;
The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
4 да судит нищих народа, да спасет сынов убогого и смирит притеснителя, -
He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
5 и будут бояться Тебя, доколе пребудут солнце и луна, в роды родов.
They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
6 Он сойдет, как дождь на скошенный луг, как капли, орошающие землю;
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
7 во дни его процветет праведник, и будет обилие мира, доколе не престанет луна;
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
8 он будет обладать от моря до моря и от реки до концов земли;
And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 падут пред ним жители пустынь, и враги его будут лизать прах;
Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 цари Фарсиса и островов поднесут ему дань; цари Аравии и Савы принесут дары;
The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 и поклонятся ему все цари; все народы будут служить ему;
Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
12 ибо он избавит нищего, вопиющего и угнетенного, у которого нет помощника.
For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
13 Будет милосерд к нищему и убогому, и души убогих спасет;
He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
14 от коварства и насилия избавит души их, и драгоценна будет кровь их пред очами его;
From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
15 и будет жить, и будут давать ему от золота Аравии, и будут молиться о нем непрестанно, всякий день благословлять его;
And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
16 будет обилие хлеба на земле, наверху гор; плоды его будут волноваться, как лес на Ливане, и в городах размножатся люди, как трава на земле;
There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
17 будет имя его вовек; доколе пребывает солнце, будет передаваться имя его; и благословятся в нем племена, все народы ублажат его.
His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
18 Благословен Господь Бог, Бог Израилев, един творящий чудеса,
Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
19 и благословенно имя славы Его вовек, и наполнится славою Его вся земля. Аминь и аминь.
And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
