Псалтирь 62

1 Начальнику хора Идифумова. Псалом Давида. Только в Боге успокаивается душа моя: от Него спасение мое.

For the end, a Psalm of David for Idithun. Shall not my soul be subjected to God? for of him is my salvation.

2 Только Он - твердыня моя, спасение мое, убежище мое: не поколеблюсь более.

For he is my God, and my saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.

3 Доколе вы будете налегать на человека? Вы будете низринуты, все вы, как наклонившаяся стена, как ограда пошатнувшаяся.

How long will ye assault a man? ye are all slaughtering as with a bowed wall and a broken hedge.

4 Они задумали свергнуть его с высоты, прибегли ко лжи; устами благословляют, а в сердце своем клянут.

They only took counsel to set at nought mine honour: I ran in thirst: with their mouth they blessed, but with their heart they cursed. (Pause)

5 Только в Боге успокаивайся, душа моя! ибо на Него надежда моя.

Nevertheless do thou, my soul, be subjected to God; for of him [is] my patient hope.

6 Только Он - твердыня моя и спасение мое, убежище мое: не поколеблюсь.

For he [is] my God and my Saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved.

7 В Боге спасение мое и слава моя; крепость силы моей и упование мое в Боге.

In God [is] my salvation and my glory: [he is] the God of my help, and my hope is in God.

8 Народ! надейтесь на Него во всякое время; изливайте пред Ним сердце ваше: Бог нам прибежище.

Hope in him, all ye congregation of the people; pour out your hearts before him, for God is our helper. (Pause)

9 Сыны человеческие - только суета; сыны мужей - ложь; если положить их на весы, все они вместе легче пустоты.

But the sons of men are vain; the sons of men are false, so as to be deceitful in the balances; they are all alike [formed] out of vanity.

10 Не надейтесь на грабительство и не тщеславьтесь хищением; когда богатство умножается, не прилагайте к нему сердца.

Trust not in unrighteousness, and lust not after robberies: if wealth should flow in, set not your heart upon it.

11 Однажды сказал Бог, и дважды слышал я это, что сила у Бога,

God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;

12 и у Тебя, Господи, милость, ибо Ты воздаешь каждому по делам его.

and mercy is thine, O Lord; for thou wilt recompense every one according to his works.
