Псалтирь 108
1 Песнь. Псалом Давида. Готово сердце мое, Боже, готово сердце мое; буду петь и воспевать во славе моей.
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
2 Воспрянь, псалтирь и гусли! Я встану рано.
Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.
3 Буду славить Тебя, Господи, между народами; буду воспевать Тебя среди племен,
I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.
4 ибо превыше небес милость Твоя и до облаков истина Твоя.
For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
5 Будь превознесен выше небес, Боже; над всею землею да будет слава Твоя,
Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth.
6 дабы избавились возлюбленные Твои: спаси десницею Твоею и услышь меня.
That Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me.
7 Бог сказал во святилище Своем: “восторжествую, разделю Сихем и долину Сокхоф размерю;
God spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8 Мой Галаад, Мой Манассия, Ефрем - крепость главы Моей, Иуда - скипетр Мой,
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
9 Моав - умывальная чаша Моя, на Едома простру сапог Мой, над землею Филистимскою восклицать буду”.
Moab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud.
10 Кто введет меня в укрепленный город? Кто доведет меня до Едома?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom?
11 Не Ты ли, Боже, Который отринул нас и не выходишь, Боже, с войсками нашими?
Hast not Thou cast us off, O God? and Thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts?
12 Подай нам помощь в тесноте, ибо защита человеческая суетна.
Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man.
13 С Богом мы окажем силу: Он низложит врагов наших
Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
