Псалтирь 107
1 Аллилуия. Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его!
O give thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
2 Так да скажут избавленные Господом, которых избавил Он от руки врага,
Let the redeemed of Yahweh say, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 и собрал от стран, от востока и запада, от севера и моря.
And, out of the lands, hath gathered them—From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
4 Они блуждали в пустыне по безлюдному пути и не находили населенного города;
They wandered about in the desert—in a waste, Way to a city to dwell in, found they none;
5 терпели голод и жажду, душа их истаевала в них.
Hungry—yea thirsty, their soul, within them, fainted:
6 Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он избавил их от бедствий их,
Then made they outcry to Yahweh, in their peril, Out of their distresses, he rescued them;
7 и повел их прямым путем, чтобы они шли к населенному городу.
And led them by a straight road, That they might journey to a city to dwell in.
8 Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men;
9 ибо Он насытил душу жаждущую и душу алчущую исполнил благами.
For he hath satisfied the longing soul, and, the famished soul, hath he filled with good.
10 Они сидели во тьме и тени смертной, окованные скорбью и железом;
The dwellers in darkness and death-shade, bound with oppression and iron;
11 ибо не покорялись словам Божиим и небрегли о воле Всевышнего.
Because they had rebelled against the sayings of GOD, —and, the counsel of the Most High, they had spurned;
12 Он смирил сердце их работами; они преткнулись, и не было помогающего.
And he bowed down, with labour, their heart, They staggered, with no one to help,
13 Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
Then made they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, Out of their distresses, he saved them;
14 вывел их из тьмы и тени смертной, и расторгнул узы их.
He brought them forth out of darkness and death-shade, and, their fetters, he tare off.
15 Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
16 ибо Он сокрушил врата медные и вереи железные сломил.
For he brake in pieces the doors of bronze, And, the bars of iron, he hewed asunder.
17 Безрассудные страдали за беззаконные пути свои и за неправды свои;
The perverse, by reason of their transgression, and on account of their iniquities, are afflicted;
18 от всякой пищи отвращалась душа их, и они приближались ко вратам смерти.
All manner of food, their soul abhorreth, and so they draw near unto the gates of death,
19 Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he saveth them.
20 послал слово Свое и исцелил их, и избавил их от могил их.
He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
21 Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
22 Да приносят Ему жертву хвалы и да возвещают о делах Его с пением!
Yea let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount his works with a shout.
23 Отправляющиеся на кораблях в море, производящие дела на больших водах,
Men who go down to the sea, in ships, doing business through mighty waters;
24 видят дела Господа и чудеса Его в пучине:
They, see the works of Yahweh, and his wonders in the deep;
25 Он речет, - и восстанет бурный ветер и высоко поднимает волны его:
And he speaketh, and there ariseth a tempestuous wind, which lifteth on high its rolling waves;
26 восходят до небес, нисходят до бездны; душа их истаевает в бедствии;
They mount the heavens, they descend the roaring deeps, their soul, by trouble, dissolveth;
27 они кружатся и шатаются, как пьяные, и вся мудрость их исчезает.
They reel and stagger, like a drunken man, and, all their wisdom, is engulfed,
28 Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он вывел их из бедствия их.
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he bringeth them forth,
29 Он превращает бурю в тишину, и волны умолкают.
He calmeth the storm to a whisper, and silent are their rolling waves:
30 И веселятся, что они утихли, и Он приводит их к желаемой пристани.
Then are they glad, because they are hushed, And he guideth them unto their desired haven.
31 Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
32 Да превозносят Его в собрании народном и да славят Его в сонме старейшин!
Yea let them extol him in the convocation of the people, and, in the seated company of elders, let them praise him.
33 Он превращает реки в пустыню и источники вод - в сушу,
He turneth Rivers into a desert, and, Springs of Water, into thirsty ground,
34 землю плодородную - в солончатую, за нечестие живущих на ней.
A Land of Fruit, into a waste of salt, For the wickedness of them who dwell therein.
35 Он превращает пустыню в озеро, и землю иссохшую - в источники вод;
He turneth A Desert, into a pool of water, and, A Parched Land into springs of water;
36 и поселяет там алчущих, и они строят город для обитания;
And hath caused the famished to dwell there, And they have built them a city to dwell in;
37 засевают поля, насаждают виноградники, которые приносят им обильные плоды.
And have sown fields, and planted vineyards, and made them fruits of increase:
38 Он благословляет их, и они весьма размножаются, и скота их не умаляет.
Thus hath he blessed them, and they have multiplied greatly, And, their cattle, he maketh not few.
39 Уменьшились они и упали от угнетения, бедствия и скорби,
So have they become few and been brought low, By oppression, misfortune, and sorrow;
40 Он изливает бесчестие на князей и оставляет их блуждать в пустыне, где нет путей.
He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;
41 Бедного же извлекает из бедствия и умножает род его, как стада овец.
But he hath set the needy on high from affliction, and made families, like a flock: —
42 Праведники видят сие и радуются, а всякое нечестие заграждает уста свои.
The upright seeth and is glad, And, all perverseness, hath closed her mouth.
43 Кто мудр, тот заметит сие и уразумеет милость Господа.
Who is wise? then let him observe these things! and diligently consider the lovingkindness of Yahweh.
