< Ded'enu' ra Dud'uin 20 >

1 Atahori ra nda ramue-raanggiꞌ sa ena ma, kota Efesus malole baliꞌ. Basa ma Paulus naꞌabꞌue baliꞌ atahori mamahereꞌ mana sia naa ra, fo tao manggatee rala nara. Basa naa ma, ana natea, de lao baliꞌ nusa Makedonia neu.
But, after the tumult had ceased, Paul, sending for the disciples and exhorting them, took leave, and went forth to be journeying unto Macedonia.
2 Ana lao ndule basa kamboꞌ mana sia naa ra, fo tao manggatee atahori mamahereꞌ ra rala nara. Ana tao taꞌo naa, losa ana masoꞌ nusa Yunani neu.
Passing through those parts, however, and exhorting them with much discourse, he came into Greece;
3 Ana leo fula telu mia Yunani. Basa ma, ana naote nae sae ofaꞌ nisiꞌ nusa Siria. Te ana rena, atahori Yahudi ra raꞌabꞌue fo rae risa e sia naa. Dadꞌi ana lao baliꞌ tungga nusa Makedonia.
and, spending three months, when a plot was laid against him by the Jews, as he was about to sail to Syria, he determined to turn back through Macedonia.
4 Hambu atahori nononggo anaꞌ esa tungga Paulus: Timotios no ama Pirus anan Sopater mia kota Berea; atahori rua mia Tesalonika, nara nara Aristarkus ma Sekundus; esa mia kota Derbe, naran Gayus; telu mia nusa Asia, nara nara Timotius, Tikikus, ma Trofimos.
Now there were accompanying him, Sopater, son of Pyrrhus a Beroean; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe and Timothy; and, of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
5 Boe ma, au (iaeni Lukas mana suraꞌ susura ia), undaa seluꞌ o Paulus mia nusa Makedonia. Paulus ana mana tungga nara lao raꞌahuluꞌ, de rahani hai mia kota Troas sia tasiꞌ a seriꞌ. Atahori Yahudi ra fai Paska na basa ma, hai ruꞌa nggi sae ofaꞌ, de lao misiꞌ kota Troas. Leleꞌ naa, hai fai lima sia tasiꞌ ata. Losa Troas ma, hai onda ma mindaa mo baliꞌ nono feaꞌ ra, de leo nggarei sa mia naa.
And, these, came and were waiting for us at Troas.
6
And, we, sailed forth, after the days of unleavened bread, from Philippi, and came unto them in Troas in five days, where we tarried seven days.
7 Faiꞌ naa, nggarei. Paulus naꞌetuꞌ basa nae, “Toronoo nggare. Fetu na, au ae lao ukundoo.” Dadꞌi basa hita atahori mamahereꞌ ra, taꞌabꞌue fo ata taa-tinu. Huu Paulus nae lao, de ana olaꞌ no hai losa fai banggi rua.
And, on the first of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul went on to discourse with them, being about to depart on the morrow; and he prolonged his discourse until midnight.
8 Hai miꞌibꞌue mia ume sa tatadꞌaꞌ katelu na. Tetembaꞌ naa, ara dedꞌe lambu hetar.
Now there were a good many torches in the upper room, where we were gathered together.
9 Sia naa, hambu ana touꞌ esa, naran Yutikus. Ana endoꞌ mia jendela. Ana o tungga rena Paulus boe.
And there sat, a certain young man by name Eutychus, in the window, who was getting overpowered by a deep sleep; and, while Paul was discoursing yet further, being overpowered by his sleep, he fell, from the third story, down, and was taken up dead.
10 Paulus onda, de holu nala e ma olaꞌ nae, “Afiꞌ mimitau. Masodꞌaꞌ.”
Going down, however, Paul fell upon him, and, embracing him, said—Be not making confusion; for, his soul, is, in him.
11 Basa hai mimihoꞌo, huu ana touꞌ naa masodꞌaꞌ. Dei de ro baliꞌ e ume na neu. Basa ma hai hene baliꞌ ata mii, de endoꞌ mia miꞌibꞌue. Ma Paulus olaꞌ nakandoo losa fetu na. Relo a todꞌa ma, hai mitea, de lao.
And, going up, and breaking the loaf, and tasting, —for a good while also conversing, until dawn, thus, he departed.
And they brought the boy alive, and were comforted beyond measure.
13 Basa ma, hai mala ralaꞌ fo saranggaa losa mindaa sia kota esa, naran Asos. Hai sae ofaꞌ misiꞌ Asos, te Paulus lao eiꞌ a naa neu.
And, we, going forward unto the ship, set sail for Assos, from thence being about to take up Paul; for, so, had he arranged, being about, himself, to go on foot.
14 Hai losa Asos ma, mindaa mo Paulus. Ana hene ofaꞌ ata neu, de hai lao misiꞌ kota Metilene.
And, when he fell in with us in Assos, we took him on board, and came into Mitylene;
Mbila fefetun ma, hai deka-deka mo pulu esa, naran Kios. Fini esaꞌ ma, hai lao mbali pulu Samos. De fini ruaꞌ ma, hai losa kota Miletus.
and, from thence sailing away on the morrow, we came over against Chios, and, on the next day, we thrust aside into Samos, and, on the succeeding day, we came into Miletus.
16 Hai lao lai-lai, huu Paulus naeꞌ a doo bee fo losa Yerusalem, fo tungga fai Pentakosta sia naa.
For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, lest he should happen to lose time in Asia; for he hastened, if it were possible for him, against the day of Pentecost, to arrive, in Jerusalem.
17 Dadꞌi mia Miletus, Paulus fee haraꞌ neu lasi Kristen ra sia Efesus, fo rema randaa ro e.
But, from Miletus, he sent unto Ephesus, and called for the elders of the assembly.
Hei bubꞌuluꞌ au masodꞌa ngga, eniꞌ a fefeu na au tabu ei ngga sia nusa Asia, losa faiꞌ ia.
And, when they were come to him, he said unto them—Ye yourselves, well know, from the first day when I set foot in Asia, in what manner came to be with you all the time,
doing service unto the Lord, with all humility and tears, and temptations which befell me through the plots of the Jews:
20 Au unori hei basa saa maloleꞌ fo au uhineꞌ ra. Ma au unori hei sia mata mara. Au o isiꞌ atahori ra ume nara esa-esaꞌ, fo fee se nesenenedꞌaꞌ soꞌal Lamatualain hihii Na.
in what manner I in nowise shrank from announcing unto you anything that was profitable and teaching you publicly and in your homes;
21 Au o ufadꞌe atahori Yahudi ra, no atahori nda Yahudi ra sa, fo raloeꞌ tao salaꞌ, fo tungga Lamatualain.
bearing full witness, both to Jews and to Greeks, as to the repentance due unto God, and as to belief on our Lord Jesus.
22 Dadꞌi au ae ufadꞌe taꞌo ia: aleꞌ ia, au ae Yerusalem uu, huu Lamatualain Dula-dale Na nore au fo naa uu. Mae au nda bubꞌuluꞌ saa dadꞌi neu au sia naa sa o, au tunggaꞌ a.
And, now, lo! I, bound in my spirit, am journeying unto Jerusalem; the things which therein shall befall me, not knowing, —
23 Te mia kotaꞌ esa misiꞌ esa, Dula-dale Meumare Na nafadꞌe naꞌahuluꞌ au nae, dei fo au masoꞌ bui no lemba doidꞌosoꞌ sia naa.
save that, the Holy Spirit, from city to city, doth bear me full witness, saying that, bonds and tribulations, await me.
24 Au bubꞌuluꞌ basa taꞌo naa, huu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus mana fua ues ia neu aru ngga, fo uu ufadꞌe Dudꞌui Maloleꞌ ae, Lamatualain sue hita, ma rala Na o maloleꞌ no hita boe.
But, for no cause whatever, am I making my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to bear full witness as to the good news of the favour of God.
25 Au unori hei dooꞌ ena soꞌal masoꞌ dadꞌi Lamatualain bobꞌonggi Nara. Ia naa, au bubꞌuluꞌ ae, hei nda afiꞌ mita au sa ena.
And, now, lo! I, know that, no more, shall ye see my face, —ye all, among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom.
26 Huu naa, rena malolole. Au tao basa ue-tatao ngga sia hei ena. De ia naa, hei mesaꞌ nggi musi ue-tao mikindoo. Mete ma hambu atahori mia hei nda masoꞌ dadꞌi Lamatualain bobꞌonggi Na sa, naa, hei mana tanggon o! Te naa nda au sala ngga sa. Misinedꞌa malolole! Au ufadꞌe basa Lamatualain hihii-nanau Na neu hei ena. Au nda uꞌufuniꞌ saa neu hei saꞌ boe. De musi minea malolole masodꞌa mara. Ma miꞌiboi malolole basa atahori fo Dula-dale Meumare na denu hei mineaꞌ ra. Afiꞌ liliiꞌ Lamatuaꞌ Yesus mate, de bae basa atahori naa ra nendiꞌ raa Na.
Wherefore I take you to witness, on this very day, that, pure am I from the blood of all;
for I have not shrunk from announcing all the counsel of God unto you.
Be taking heed unto yourselves, and unto all the little flock in which the Holy Spirit hath set, you, as overseers, —to be shepherding the assembly of God which he hath acquired through means of the blood of his own.
29 De ia naa, au lao hela hei. Te misinedꞌa, e!
I, know, that there will enter, after my departure, grievous wolves into your midst, not sparing the little flock;
30 Mana ombon-koson onaꞌ naa ra, rema mia deaꞌ. Te misinedꞌa, huu ruma o rema mia hei e boe. Ara ranori nda matetuꞌ sa, ma nauꞌ a atahori tunggaꞌ sira hihii nara. Naa de, ara nau-nauꞌ a lea atahori ra fo afiꞌ sudꞌi tungga Yesus.
and, from among your own selves, will arise men speaking distorted things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
31 Huu naa, hei musi minea ao mara malolole. Afiꞌ liliiꞌ, te au leo o hei too telu ena. Luu ngga titi nae-nae ena, huu hei.
Wherefore, be on the watch, remembering that, for three years, night and day, I gave myself no rest, with tears, admonishing each one.
32 Ia naa, hita tae saranggaa ena. Dadꞌi au fee hei mii Lamatualain lima Na, fo Ana naꞌaboi nggi. Ma hei o musi toꞌu mihereꞌ, basa saa fo au ufadꞌe eniꞌ a fefeu na, soꞌal Lamatualain rala malole Na. Lamatualain ma koasaꞌ, fo tao hei miꞌidere. Ana o helu-fuli nae fee papala-babꞌanggiꞌ neu atahori Nara. Dadꞌi mete ma hei tungga mikindoo E no rala meumareꞌ, naa, hei o hambu papala-babꞌanggi Na boe.
Now, therefore, I commend you unto the Lord, and unto his word of favour, —which is able to build up and give the inheritance among all the hallowed ones.
33 Leleꞌ au ue-tao mia hei taladꞌa mara, au nda dale hei saa ma sa boe. Au nda oꞌe ita hei lilo mbilas, do lilo fulaꞌ, do bua-baꞌus, do saa ma sa boe.
The silver or gold or apparel of no one, did I covet:
34 Hei o bubꞌuluꞌ, leleꞌ au leo o hei, au manggate ue-tao fo usodꞌa. Au ue-tao nda soaꞌ neuꞌ a au sa, te soaꞌ neu mana tungga nggara boe.
yourselves, acknowledge that, for my necessities and for those who were with me, hard wrought these hands!
35 Dadꞌi no basa ia ra, au utudꞌu dalaꞌ neu hei fo tulu-fali atahori mana toꞌa-taꞌ ra. Misinedꞌa malolole, Lamatuaꞌ Yesus oꞌola Na nae, ‘Hita fee, malole lenaꞌ hita simbo.’”
In all things, I gave you to understand, that, thus toiling, it behoves to be helping the weak, also to be keeping in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, that, he himself, said—Happy is it, rather to give than to receive!
36 Paulus olaꞌ basa ma, ana sendeꞌ lululangga na, fo hule-oꞌe no se, ma noꞌe Lamatualain nanea basa se.
And, these things saying, kneeling down with them all, he prayed.
And they all wept much, and, falling upon Paul’s neck, they were tenderly kissing him;
being most distressed for the word which he had said, —That, no more, should they, his face, behold. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
