< 2 Petrus 3 >

1 Toronoo susue nggara e! Ia, au susura karua ngga fee neu nggi. Sia susura karuaꞌ ia ra, au fee nesenenedꞌaꞌ neu nggi, fo hei bisa dudꞌuꞌa soꞌal dala ndoo-tetuꞌ.
This, already, beloved, is the second letter I am writing unto you; and, in these letters, I am stirring up—by way of calling to remembrance—your uncorrupted mind,
2 Misinedꞌa Lamatuaꞌ mana ola-ola meumare dalahulu nara dedꞌea oꞌola nara. Misinedꞌa Yesus dedꞌenu nara boe. Te Eni mana fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi mia sala-kiluꞌ ra!
To remember the fore-spoken declarations made by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour, by your apostles.
3 Misinedꞌa taꞌo ia: mae raefafoꞌ nda feꞌe nateteꞌe sa, te hambu mana maꞌaeꞌeiꞌ mana tao leli tunggaꞌ a hihii-nanau nara. Ara olaꞌ raꞌamuti basa dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra.
Of this, first, taking note—that there will come, in the last of the days, with scoffing, scoffers, after their own covetings, going on,
4 Ara olaꞌ rae, “Cii! Yesus helu-fuli nae, Eni nae baliꞌ nema, do? Mete ma taꞌo naa, na, Ana sia bee? Huu eniꞌ a mia hita bei-baꞌi nara mate, losa ia nema, basaꞌ e feꞌe naa ena. Basaꞌ e laoꞌ nekendoo, eniꞌ a Lamatuaꞌ naꞌadadꞌiꞌ lalai no raefafoꞌ.”
and saying—Where is the promise of his presence? For, since the fathers fell asleep, all things, thus remain, from the beginning of creation.
5 Te hambu dalaꞌ esa fo atahori mana peko-lelekoꞌ ra nda nau rasanedꞌa sa. Naeni, mia fefeun Lamatuaꞌ olaꞌ a, ma lalai dadꞌi neuꞌ ena. Ma Lamatuaꞌ tao oe boe. Basa ma Ana tadꞌa-banggi oe mia rae madꞌaꞌ, ma tao rae madꞌaꞌ sou mia oeꞌ a. Lamatuaꞌ olaꞌ taꞌo bee, na, naa o dadꞌi boe. Dodꞌoo ma, Lamatuaꞌ tao nalutu basa atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia fo mana rasodꞌa mia baꞌi Noh lelen, nendiꞌ oe mandali monaeꞌ. Te leleꞌ ia, Lamatuaꞌ nafadꞌe memaꞌ saa fo Eni nau tao soaꞌ neu lalai no raefafoꞌ. Te dei fo Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌa huku-dꞌokiꞌ fo nalutu atahori nda mana nau tao afiꞌ neu Eni sa. Mae taꞌo naa o, atahori mana peko-lelekoꞌ ra nda nau rasanedꞌa sa rae, Dei fo Lamatualain tao tungga saa fo Eni olaꞌ ena.
For this they, willfully, forget—that there were, heavens, from of old, and, an earth, on account of water and by means of water, compacted, by God’s word, —
6
By which means, the world that then was, with water being flooded, perished;
7
While, the heavens and the earth that now are, by the same word, have been stored with fire, being kept unto the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly men.
8 Toronoo susue ngga re! Afi liliiꞌ dalaꞌ ia, naeni, hita Lamatuan nda ito-reken fai ra onaꞌ hita sa. Te tungga Eni, fai esa bisa dadꞌi too rifon sa. Ma too rifon sa bisa dadꞌi fai esa.
But, this one thing, forget not, beloved, —that, one day, with the Lord, is as a thousand years, and, a thousand years, as one day.
9 Mete ma hita Lamatuan helu-fuli nae tao dalaꞌ esa, na, Ana tao nandaa no fain, nda nahani sa. Hambu atahori ruma duꞌa rae Ana ue-tao babꞌanggo. Hita Lamatuan nau fo basa atahori doaꞌ dei, fo lao hela sala-kilu nara, ma heoꞌ baliꞌ tungga Eni. Huu Ana nda nau atahori nenesaranggaaꞌ mia Eni sa.
The Lord is, not slack, concerning his promise, as some count, slackness; but is long-suffering with regard to you, not being minded that any should perish, but that, all, unto repentance, should come.
Basaꞌ e basa! Onaꞌ naa boe, raefafoꞌ no basa isi oen. Kadꞌe hendi se!
Howbeit the day of the Lord will be here, as a thief, —in which, the heavens, with a rushing noise, will pass away, while, elements, becoming intensely hot, will be dissolved, and, earth, and the works therein, will be discovered.
11 Dadꞌi mete ma basa e kadꞌe hendi se onaꞌ naa, na, hei musi dadꞌi atahori onaꞌ bee fai? Hei musi mimbiriiꞌ mihereꞌ fo misodꞌa tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun. Hei musi misodꞌa meumareꞌ.
Seeing that all these things are thus to be dissolved, what manner of persons, ought [ye] all the while to be, in holy ways of behaviour and acts of godliness, —
12 Hei musi mihani mikindoo Lamatuaꞌ neneman. Dadꞌi hei musi mimihereꞌ fo tao fain nema lalai leo.
Expecting and hastening the presence of the day of God, by reason of which, heavens, being on fire, will be dissolved, and, elements, becoming intensely hot, are to be melted;
13 Te dei fo hambu lalai mata feuꞌ no raefafo mata feuꞌ boe. Lamatualain helu-fuli taꞌo naa ena, ma naa saa fo hita tahaniꞌ a. Sia naa hambuꞌ a atahori mana rasodꞌa ndoos ra.
But, new heavens, and a new earth, according to his promise, are we expecting, wherein, righteousness, is to dwell.
14 De toronoo susue nggare! Leleꞌ hei mihani dalaꞌ ia ra, hei musi mihehere fo dadꞌi atahori maloleꞌ, tungga Lamatuaꞌ nilen. No taꞌo naa, nda hambu atahori bisa fua salaꞌ neu nggi sa. Mimihere fo misodꞌa badꞌame boe.
Wherefore, beloved, these things, expecting—give diligence, unspotted and unblemished, by him, to be found, in peace;
15 Te hita Lamatuan naa naꞌatataaꞌ, naa fo Ana bisa fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi mia sala-kilu mara. Naa, hita toronoon Paulus sura fee nggi soꞌal dalaꞌ hetar mana ona esaꞌ, to?
And account, our Lord’s long suffering, [to be] salvation: —even as, our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you;
16 Leleꞌ Paulus suraꞌ susura esa, ana o olaꞌ dalaꞌ ia ra boe.
As also, in all letters, speaking in them concerning these things, —in which [letters] are some things, hard to be understood, which, the uninstructed and unstable, wrest, —as also the other scriptures, —unto their own destruction.
17 Toronoo susue nggare! Hei mihine meser mana peko-lelekoꞌ naa ra dala masodꞌa nara ena. Ara sobꞌa peko-lelekoꞌ nggi, naa fo ama dinggo lao hela dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a.
Ye, therefore, beloved, taking note beforehand, be on your guard, lest, with the error of the impious being led away, ye fall from your own steadfastness;
18 Malole lena, hei nemehere mara mori nekendoo. Huu hei mihine hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus ena, mana fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggita mia sala-kilu tara. Ana nau natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi. Ma Ana o nau fo mihine E no maloleꞌ lenaꞌ fai. Au nau fo basa atahori soꞌu rananaru E, mia leleꞌ ia losa doo nduꞌu-doon neu. Sodꞌa-moleꞌ Petrus (aiōn g165)
But be growing in the favour and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: —unto whom be the glory, both now and unto a day that abideth. (aiōn g165)
