Salmos 30

1 Um salmo. Uma Canção para a Dedicação do Templo. Por David. I irá exaltar você, Yahweh, pois você me educou, e não fizeram meus inimigos se regozijarem por mim.

A psalm; a song at the dedication of the temple. A psalm of David. I will exalt you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up and have not allowed my enemies to rejoice over me.

2 Yahweh meu Deus, eu chorei para você, e você me curou.

Yahweh my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me.

3 Yahweh, você trouxe minha alma de Sheol à tona. Vocês me mantiveram vivo, que eu não deveria descer para o poço. (Sheol h7585)

Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you have kept me alive from going down to the grave. (Sheol h7585)

4 Sing louvor a Iavé, seus santos. Dê graças ao seu santo nome.

Sing praises to Yahweh, you his faithful people! Give thanks when you remember his holiness.

5 Pois sua raiva é só por um momento. Seu favor é para toda a vida. Chorar pode passar a noite chorando, mas a alegria vem pela manhã.

For his anger is only for a moment; but his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping comes for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

6 Quanto a mim, eu disse em minha prosperidade, “Eu nunca serei movido”.

In confidence I said, “I will never be shaken.”

7 Você, Yahweh, quando me favoreceu, fez minha montanha ficar forte; mas quando você escondeu seu rosto, eu fiquei perturbado.

Yahweh, by your favor you established me as a strong mountain; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

8 Eu chorei para você, Yahweh. Eu fiz súplicas ao Senhor:

I cried to you, Yahweh, and sought favor from my Lord!

9 “Que lucro há na minha destruição, se eu for para o poço? Será que a poeira o elogiará? Será que deve declarar sua verdade?

What advantage is there in my death, if I go down to the grave? Will the dust praise you? Will it declare your trustworthiness?

10 Ouça, Yahweh, e tenha piedade de mim. Yahweh, seja meu ajudante”.

Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me! Yahweh, be my helper.

11 Você transformou meu luto em dançar para mim. Você tirou meu saco e me vestiu de alegria,

You have turned my mourning into dancing; you have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.

12 até o final para que meu coração possa cantar louvores a você, e não ficar em silêncio. Yahweh meu Deus, eu lhe darei graças para sempre!

So now my glory will sing praise to you and not be silent; Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
