Lucas 4
1 Jesus, cheio do Espírito Santo, voltou do Jordão e foi conduzido pelo Espírito ao deserto
Iesus then full of the holy goost returnyd fro Iordan and was caryed of ye sprete into wildernes
2 durante quarenta dias, sendo tentado pelo diabo. Ele não comeu nada naqueles dias. Depois, quando foram completados, ele estava com fome.
and was. xl. dayes tempted of the devyll. And in thoose dayes ate he no thinge. And when they were ended he afterward hongred.
3 O diabo disse-lhe: “Se você é o Filho de Deus, mande que esta pedra se torne pão”.
And the devyll sayde vnto him: yf thou be the sonne of God comaunde this stone yt it be breed.
4 Jesus respondeu-lhe, dizendo: “Está escrito: 'O homem não viverá só de pão, mas de toda palavra de Deus'”.
And Iesus answered hym sayinge: It is writte: man shall not live by breed only but by every worde of God.
5 O diabo, levando-o para cima de uma alta montanha, mostrou-lhe todos os reinos do mundo em um momento de tempo.
And ye devyll toke him vp into an hye moutayne and shewed him all the kyngdoms of the worlde eve in ye twincklinge of an eye.
6 O diabo lhe disse: “Eu lhe darei toda esta autoridade e sua glória, pois ela me foi entregue, e eu a dou a quem eu quiser”.
And ye devyll sayde vnto him: all this power will I geve ye every whit and the glory of the: for yt is delyvered to me and to whosoever I will I geve it.
7 Portanto, se vós adorardes diante de mim, tudo será vosso”.
Yf thou therfore wilt worshippe me they shalbe all thyne.
8 Jesus respondeu-lhe: “Vai para trás de mim, Satanás! Pois está escrito: 'Adorarás ao Senhor teu Deus, e só a ele servirás'”.
Iesus answered him and sayde: hence from me Sathan. For it is written: Thou shalt honour the Lorde thy God and him only serve.
9 Ele o levou a Jerusalém e o colocou no pináculo do templo, e lhe disse: “Se você é o Filho de Deus, atire-se daqui para baixo,
And he caryed him to Ierusalem and set him on a pynacle of the temple and sayd vnto him: Yf thou be the sonne of God cast thy silfe doune from hens.
10 pois está escrito, “Ele colocará seus anjos a seu cargo, para guardá-lo;
For it is written he shall geve his angels charge over the to kepe the
11 e, “Em suas mãos eles o levarão para cima, para não correr o pé contra uma pedra””.
and with there hondis they shall stey the vp that thou dasshe not thy fote agaynst a stone.
12 Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhe: “Foi dito: 'Não tentarás o Senhor teu Deus'”.
Iesus answered and sayde to him it is sayd: thou shalt not tempte the Lorde thy God.
13 Quando o diabo completou cada tentação, ele se afastou dele até outro momento.
Assone as the devyll had ended all his temptacions he departed from him for a season.
14 Jesus voltou com o poder do Espírito para a Galiléia, e as notícias sobre ele se espalharam por toda a área ao redor.
And Iesus retourned by the power of ye sprete in to Galile and there went a fame of him thorowe oute all the regio roude aboute.
15 Ele ensinou em suas sinagogas, sendo glorificado por todos.
And he taught in their synagoges and was commended of all men.
16 Ele veio para Nazaré, onde tinha sido criado. Ele entrou, como era seu costume, na sinagoga no dia de sábado, e levantou-se para ler.
And he came to Nazareth where he was noursed and as hys custome was went in to the synagoge on the Saboth dayes and stode vp for to rede.
17 Foi-lhe entregue o livro do profeta Isaías. Ele abriu o livro e encontrou o lugar onde ele foi escrito,
And ther was delyvered vnto him ye boke of ye Prophete Esaias. And when he had opened the boke he founde the place where it was written.
18 “O Espírito do Senhor está sobre mim”, porque ele me ungiu para pregar boas notícias aos pobres. Ele me enviou para curar o coração partido, para proclamar a libertação aos cativos, recuperação da visão para os cegos, para entregar aqueles que são esmagados,
The sprete of the lorde vpon me because he hath annoynted me: to preache ye gospell to ye poore he hath sent me: and to heale the broken harted: to preache delyverauce to the captive and sight to the blinde and frely to set at lyberte them that are brused
19 e para proclamar o ano aceitável do Senhor”.
and to preache the acceptable yeare of the Lorde.
20 Ele fechou o livro, devolveu-o ao atendente e sentou-se. Os olhos de todos na sinagoga estavam fixos nele.
And he cloosed the booke and gave it agayne to the minister and sate doune. And the eyes of all that were in the synagoge were fastened on him.
21 Ele começou a dizer-lhes: “Hoje, esta Escritura foi cumprida em sua audiência”.
And he began to saye vnto them. This daye is this scripture fulfilled in youre eares.
22 Todos testemunharam sobre ele e se perguntaram sobre as palavras graciosas que saíam de sua boca; e disseram: “Este não é o filho de José?”.
And all bare him witnes and wondred at the gracious wordes which proceded oute of his mouth and sayde: Is not this Iosephs sonne?
23 Ele disse-lhes: “Sem dúvida, vocês me dirão este provérbio: 'Médico, cure-se! O que quer que tenhamos ouvido fazer em Cafarnaum, faça também aqui, em sua cidade natal”.
And he sayde vnto them: Ye maye very well saye vnto me this proverbe: Phisicion heale thy silfe. Whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum do the same here lyke wyse in thyne awne countre.
24 Ele disse: “Certamente, nenhum profeta é aceitável em sua cidade natal”.
And he sayde verely I saye vnto you: No Prophet is accepted in his awne countre.
25 Mas em verdade vos digo, havia muitas viúvas em Israel nos dias de Elias, quando o céu estava fechado três anos e seis meses, quando uma grande fome invadiu toda a terra.
But I tell you of a truth many wyddowes were in Israell in the dayes of Helias when hevyn was shet thre yeres and syxe monethes when greate fammisshemet was throughoute all the londe
26 Elias não foi enviado a nenhuma delas, exceto a Zarephath, na terra de Sidon, a uma mulher que era viúva.
and vnto none of them was Helias sent save in to Sarephta besydes Sidon vnto a woma that was a widow.
27 Havia muitos leprosos em Israel no tempo do profeta Eliseu, mas nenhum deles foi limpo, exceto Naaman, o sírio”.
And many lepers were in Israel in the tyme of Heliseus the Prophete: and yet none of them was healed savinge Naaman of Siria.
28 Todos eles estavam cheios de ira na sinagoga quando ouviram estas coisas.
And as many as were in ye sinagoge when they herde that were filled with wrath:
29 Eles se levantaram, expulsaram-no da cidade e o levaram para o topo da colina onde sua cidade foi construída, para que o jogassem do penhasco.
and roose vp and thrust him oute of the cite and ledde him eve vnto the edge of the hill wher on their cite was bilte to cast him doune hedlynge.
30 Mas ele, passando pelo meio deles, seguiu seu caminho.
But he went his waye eve thorow the myddes of them:
31 Ele veio para Cafarnaum, uma cidade da Galiléia. Ele os ensinava no dia de sábado,
and came in to Capernaum a cyte of Galile and there taught the on the Saboth dayes.
32 e eles ficaram surpresos com seu ensinamento, pois sua palavra era com autoridade.
And they were astonyed at his doctrine: for his preachige was wt power.
33 Na sinagoga havia um homem que tinha o espírito de um demônio impuro; e ele gritou com voz alta,
And in the synagoge ther was a ma which had a sprete of an vncleane devell and cryed with aloude voyce
34 saying, “Ah! o que temos a ver com você, Jesus de Nazaré? Você veio para nos destruir? Eu sei quem você é: o Santo de Deus”!
sayinge: let me alone what hast thou to do with vs thou Iesus of Nazareth? Arte thou come to destroye vs? I knowe the what thou arte eve the holy of God.
35 Jesus o repreendeu, dizendo: “Silêncio e saia dele”! Quando o demônio o jogou no meio deles, ele saiu dele, não lhe tendo feito nenhum mal.
And Iesus rebuked him sayinge: holde thy peace and come oute of him. And the devyll threwe him in the myddes of them and came oute of him and hurt him not.
36 Amazement veio sobre todos e eles falaram juntos, um com o outro, dizendo: “Que palavra é esta? Pois com autoridade e poder ele comanda os espíritos impuros, e eles saem”!
And feare came on them all and they spake amonge them selves sayinge: what maner a thinge is this? For with auctorite and power he commaundeth the foule spretes and they come out?
37 News sobre ele saiu em todos os lugares da região ao seu redor.
And ye fame of him spreed abroode thorowoute all places of the countre round aboute.
38 Ele se levantou da sinagoga e entrou na casa de Simon. A sogra de Simon estava aflita com uma grande febre, e eles lhe imploraram que a ajudasse.
And he roose vp and came oute of ye sinagoge and entred in to Simons housse. And Simos motherelawe was take with a greate fever and they made intercession to him for her.
39 Ele ficou em cima dela e repreendeu a febre, que a deixou. Imediatamente ela se levantou e os serviu.
And he stode over her and rebuked the fever: and it leeft her. And immediatly she arose and ministred vnto them.
40 Quando o sol se punha, todos aqueles que tinham alguma enfermidade com várias doenças lhe trouxeram; e ele impôs suas mãos sobre cada uma delas, e as curou.
When the sonne was doune all they that had sicke take with divers deseases brought them vnto him: and he layde his hondes on every one of them and healed them.
41 Demônios também saíram de muitos, gritando e dizendo: “Você é o Cristo, o Filho de Deus”! Reprimindo-os, ele não lhes permitiu falar, porque eles sabiam que ele era o Cristo.
And devils also cam out of many of them crying and saying: thou arte Christ the sonne of God. And he rebuked them and suffered them not to speake: for they knewe that he was Christ.
42 Quando já era dia, ele partiu e foi para um lugar desabitado e a multidão o procurou, veio até ele e o agarrou, para que ele não se afastasse deles.
Assone as it was daye he departed and went awaye into a desert place and ye people sought him and came to him and kept him that he shuld not departe from the.
43 Mas ele lhes disse: “Eu devo pregar a boa nova do Reino de Deus também para as outras cidades”. Por esta razão, fui enviado”.
And he sayde vnto the: I muste to other cities also preache the kyngdome of God: for therfore am I sent.
44 Ele estava pregando nas sinagogas da Galiléia.
And he preached in the synagoges of Galile.
