Apocalipse 20
1 Vi um anjo que descia do céu. Ele tinha a chave do abismo insondável e na mão levava uma enorme corrente. (Abyssos g12)
I saw an angel coming down from heaven. He had the key to the deep dark pit, and he was carrying a large chain in his hand. (Abyssos g12)
2 Prendeu o dragão, que é a antiga serpente, o diabo, isto é, Satanás. Ele o amarrou com a corrente. [Ninguém poderia soltar ]aquela corrente durante mil anos.
He seized the dragon. That dragon is the ancient serpent, the devil, that is, Satan. The angel bound him with the chain. That chain could not be loosed {[No one could loose] that chain} for 1,000 years.
3 Ele o jogou no abismo insondável. Fechou [a porta do abismo insondável, ]trancou e selou. Procedeu assim para que Satanás não pudesse mais enganar os [habitantes d]as nações [MTY], até se completarem os mil anos. Depois daquele [tempo ]Satanás deve ser solto {[Deus/o anjo de Deus ]deve soltá-lo} por um breve tempo [para ele fazer aquilo que Deus determinou.] (Abyssos g12)
The angel threw him into the deep dark pit. He shut [the door of the pit], locked it, and sealed it [to prevent anyone from opening it]. He did that in order that Satan might no longer deceive [the people of the] nations [MTY], until those 1,000 years are ended. After that [time], Satan must be released {[God/God’s angel] must release Satan} for a short time [in order that he can do what God has planned]. (Abyssos g12)
4 Vi tronos em que umas pessoas estavam sentadas. A essas pessoas foi dada {[Deus ]deu a essas pessoas} [autoridade ]para julgarem [os seres humanos. ]Vi as almas [das pessoas ]cuja cabeça tinha sido cortada {[que outros ]tinham degolado} por terem [falado às demais pessoas sobre ]Jesus e sobre o que diz a Palavra de Deus. Foram pessoas que recusaram adorar a besta ou a imagem dela e que não deixaram que [os agentes da besta ]as marcassem nem na testa nem na mão. Elas voltaram a viver [depois de morrer ]e governaram com Cristo [durante esses ]mil anos. Foram elas as pessoas ressuscitadas da primeira vez que [Deus fez os mortos ]voltarem à vida.
I saw thrones on which people were sitting. [They were given] {[God] gave those people} [authority] to judge [other people]. I also saw the souls [of people] whose heads had been {whose heads [others] had} cut off because of [their telling people about] Jesus and declaring God’s message. They were people who refused to worship the beast or its image, and who did not allow [the beast’s agents] to put the beast’s mark on them, either on their foreheads or on their hands. They became alive again, and they ruled with Christ [during those] 1,000 years.
5 Os demais [crentes que ]tinham morrido não voltaram a viver até depois daqueles mil anos.
They were the ones who lived again the first time [that God caused dead people] to live again. The rest of [the believers who] had died did not live again until after those 1,000 years.
6 [Quão ]felizes são aqueles/[Deus ]se agradará daqueles— que voltam a viver desta primeira vez. Ele vai [considerá-]los santos. Eles não voltarão a morrer [PRS]. Pelo contrário, serão sacerdotes [que servem a ]Deus e a Cristo, e reinarão com [Cristo ]durante esses mil anos.
([God] will be pleased with/[How] happy will be) those who live again that first time. God will [consider] them holy. They will not die [PRS] a second time. Instead, they will be priests [who serve] God and Christ, and they will rule with [Christ] during those 1,000 years.
7 Terminados os mil anos, Satanás será solto {[o anjo de Deus ]soltará Satanás} da sua prisão.
When the 1,000 years are ended, Satan will be released {[God’s angel] will release Satan} from [the deep pit] in which he was imprisoned.
8 Ele sairá para enganar as nações [rebeldes], que se encontram em toda parte da [IDM] terra. [São estas as nações que o profeta Ezequiel chamou de ]Gogue e Magogue. Ele vai juntá-las para lutarem contra [o povo de Deus. ]Haverá [tantas pessoas que ninguém poderá contá-las, ]como [SIM] [ninguém consegue contar os grãos de ]areia na praia do mar.
He will go out to deceive [rebellious] people in nations [IDM] all over the earth. [These are the nations that the prophet Ezekiel called] Gog and Magog. Satan will gather them to fight against [God’s people]. There will be [so many of them fighting against God’s people that no one will be able to count them] [SIM], just like [no one can count the grains of] sand on the ocean shore.
9 Essas pessoas marcharão sobre a terra inteira, cercando o acampamento do povo de Deus [em Jerusalém, ]a cidade que [Deus ]ama. Então [Deus mandará ]fogo do céu, e esse fogo vai consumi-las.
They will march over the whole earth and surround the camp of God’s people [in Jerusalem], the city that [God] loves. Then [God will send] fire down from heaven, and it will burn them up.
10 O diabo, que enganou os seres humanos, será jogado {O [anjo de Deus ]jogará o diabo, que enganou os seres humanos, } dentro do lago de enxofre ardente. [É esse o mesmo lago ]em que a besta e o falso profeta foram [jogados ]{[ele ]tinha [jogado ]a besta e o falso profeta}[. Consequentemente], eles sofrerão continuamente para sempre. (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
The devil, who had deceived those people, will be thrown {[God’s angel] will throw the devil, who had deceived those people} into the lake of burning sulfur. [This is the same lake] into which both the beast and the false prophet had been [thrown] {[he] had [thrown] both the beast and the false prophet}. [As a result], they will continually suffer severely forever. (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
11 Vi um grande trono branco, em que se sentava [Deus. Era ]Ele [tão tremendo que ]a terra e o céu desapareceram completamente da presença dele. Eles foram destruídos totalmente {[Deus ]os destruiu totalmente}.
Then I saw a huge white throne on which [God] was sitting. He [was so awesome that] the earth and the sky disappeared from his presence completely; they were completely destroyed {[God] completely destroyed them}.
12 Vi que aquelas pessoas que tinham morrido, [mas agora viviam novamente, ]estavam em pé diante do trono. [Entre elas ]havia indivíduos de grande categoria social e outros de baixa categoria. Os livros [em que Deus registra os feitos das pessoas ]foram abertos {[Deus/O anjo de Deus ]abriu os livros [em que Deus registra os feitos das pessoas]}. Um outro livro foi aberto {[Ele ]abriu outro livro}, que se [chama o livro ]da vida, [no qual Deus registrou os nomes das pessoas que viverão para sempre. ]Aqueles que já morreram e agora vivem novamente foram julgados {[Deus ]julgou aqueles que morreram [e agora vivem novamente]}, de acordo com aquilo que tinham feito em vida, como foi registrado {como [ele ]registrou} nos livros.
I saw that the people who had died [but now lived again] were standing in front of the throne. [They included people of] every social status! The books [in which God records what people do] were opened {[God/God’s angel] opened the books [in which God records what people do]}. Another book was opened {[He] opened another book}, which is [called the Book] of Life, [in which God has written the names of people who have eternal life]. [God] judged the people who had died [and now lived again] according to what they had done, just like [he] had recorded it in the books.
13 [Aqueles que morreram ]no mar [voltaram a viver para se apresentarem diante do trono. ]Todas as pessoas que se encontravam no lugar para onde vão aqueles que morrem, [voltaram à vida para comparecerem diante do trono. ]Cada uma delas foi julgada {[Deus ]julgou cada uma delas} de acordo com aquilo que cada uma tinha feito. [The people whose bodies were buried in the] sea [became alive again in order to stand before God’s throne]. Everyone who had been buried on the land (OR, Every person who was waiting in the place where dead people stay) [became alive again, in order to stand before the throne]. [God] judged each one of them according to what each one had done. (Hadēs g86)
14 Os incrédulos [PRS/MTY] quem morreram e o lugar onde eles antes estiveram [foram jogados no lago ardente] {[Deus ]jogou no lago ardente [os incrédulos ][PRS/MTY] que tinham morrido e o lugar onde eles antes estiveram}. O lago ardente é [o lugar em que as pessoas ]morrem pela segunda vez. (Hadēs g86, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
