Hebreus 1

1 Há muito tempo Deus se comunicava frequentemente com nossos antepassados de diversas maneiras por meio daquilo que os profetas [escreviam].

Long ago God communicated frequently to our ancestors in various ways by what the prophets [said and wrote].

2 Mas agora, ao [se iniciar ]esta época final, Deus se comunicou [uma só vez ]conosco por meio daquilo que—seu Filho/o homem que era também Deus [disse e fez. Deus ]o nomeou para que ele pudesse possuir tudo [que pertence realmente a Deus. Deus também o nomeou ]para que ele pudesse criar o universo. (aiōn g165)

But now when this final age [is beginning], God has communicated to us [just once] by means of what (his Son/the man who was also God) [said and did. God] appointed him in order that he would possess everything [that truly belongs to God. God also appointed] him in order that he would create the universe. (aiōn g165)

3 Ele manifesta a glória de Deus. Ele representa perfeitamente [a pessoa de Deus]. Ele—sustenta tudo/leva tudo— para frente para sua meta desejada por meio das suas poderosas palavras. Depois de [capacitar os seres humanos a ficarem ]livres da [culpa dos ]seus pecados [MET], ele se assentou no céu [EUP] [para governar ]no lugar de máxima honra [MTY] com Deus [MTY].

He manifests God’s glory. He exactly represents [what God is like]. He (sustains everything by means of his powerful words. When he had [enabled people to be] freed from the [guilt of] their sins [MET], he sat down in heaven [EUP] [to rule] at the place of greatest honor [MTY] with God [MTY].

4 Ao fazer isso, ele [mostrou que ]era muito superior aos anjos, a tal ponto que o relacionamento [MTY] dele [com Deus, como seu Filho, ]é muito mais excelente que o relacionamento que os anjos [têm com Deus].

By doing that, he [showed that he] was very much greater than the angels, to the extent that his relationship [MTY] [to God, as his Son], is more excellent than the relationship the angels [have to God].

5 [Sabemos isso ]porque [nas Escrituras ]ninguém [RHQ] jamais relatou que Deus tivesse dito a qualquer anjo [aquilo que ele disse a seu Filho: ] “Você é meu Filho! Hoje declaro a todo o mundo que sou seu Pai [DOU]!” E ele disse em outra passagem das Escrituras: “Serei o Pai dele, e ele será meu Filho [DOU]”.

[We know that] because [in the Scriptures] no one [RHQ] ever reported that God said to any angel [what he said to his Son], You [(sg)] are my Son! Today I have declared to all that I am your Father [DOU]! And he said in another Scripture passage, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son [DOU].

6 E sabemos que seu Filho é superior aos anjos porque em outra passagem das Escrituras alguém escreveu o seguinte sobre o estimado Filho de Deus, quando Deus estava para enviá-lo ao mundo: “Todos os anjos de Deus devem adorá-lo”.

And [we know his Son is greater than the angels because in] another [Scripture passage someone wrote this about God’s esteemed Son], when God was about to send him into the world: All God’s angels must worship him.

7 [E nas Escrituras está escrito que ]alguém disse o seguinte sobre os anjos: “[Deus ]faz com que os [anjos ]que o servem [sejam mutáveis como ][MET] ventos e chamas de fogo”.

[And in the Scriptures it is written that] someone said this about the angels: [God] makes the [angels] who serve him [to be changeable like] [MET] winds and flames of fire.

8 Mas, por outro lado, [está escrito nas Escrituras que Deus disse ]o seguinte a seu Filho: “Você, que é [também ]Deus, reinará para sempre [MTY] E reinará com justiça sobre seu reino [MTY]. (aiōn g165)

But on the other hand, [in the Scriptures it is written that God said] this to his Son: You [(sg)] who are [also] God will rule forever [MTY], and you will reign righteously over your kingdom [MTY]. (aiōn g165)

9 Você ama as obras retas dos seres humanos e odeia as obras ilegais deles. Por isso eu, seu Deus, faço com que você fique mais feliz [MTY] que qualquer outro”.

You have loved [people’s] righteous [deeds] and you have hated [people’s] lawless [deeds]. So I, your God, have caused you to be more joyful [MTY] than anyone else.

10 E também sabemos que o Filho dele é superior aos anjos porque nas Escrituras o salmista escreveu que alguém disse ao Filho de Deus: “Senhor, foi você quem criou a terra no princípio. Você também fez [o resto do ]universo (OU, as [coisas n]o céu) [MTY].

And [we also know that his Son is superior to angels because in the Scriptures the Psalmist wrote that] someone said to God’s Son, Lord, it was you who created the earth in the beginning. You also made [the rest of] the universe (OR, the [things in] the sky) [MTY].

11 Aquelas coisas perecerão, mas você continuará vivendo [para sempre]. Elas se desgastarão como a roupa [se desgasta].

Everything in the universe will disappear, but you will keep on living [forever]. They will wear out as clothing [wears out].

12 Você vai descartá-las como se enrola um casaco [velho para se livrar dele.] Depois, você trocará tudo que existe no universo por algo novo, Como se veste uma roupa nova [em troca de uma roupa velha ][SIM]. Mas você não é como aquilo que criou. Você permanece o mesmo e vive para sempre [LIT]!”

You will dispose of them as one rolls up an [old] coat [before getting rid of it]. [Then], you will exchange [everything that is in the universe for what is new], as someone puts on a new garment [in exchange for an old garment] [SIM]. But you [are not like what you created]; You stay the same, and you live forever [LIT]!

13 Sabemos também que o Filho dele é superior aos anjos porque ninguém jamais declarou [RHQ] nas Escrituras que Deus tivesse dito a qualquer anjo aquilo que disse a seu Filho: “Sente-se pertinho de mim e governe comigo [MTY] Enquanto coloco todos seus inimigos totalmente sob seu controle [MET]!”

[We also know that his Son is superior to angels because no one ever stated] [RHQ] [in the Scriptures] that God said to any angel [what he said to his Son], Sit [in the place of honor] next to me and rule with me [MTY] while I put all of your enemies completely under your control [MET]!

14 —Os anjos são [apenas ]espíritos que servem [a Deus.]/ não é verdade que os anjos [não passam de ]espíritos que servem [a Deus?—][RHQ]. [Deus ]os manda [à terra ]para ajudar as pessoas que receberão o que [ele dará àqueles ]que ele salvou (OU, àqueles que ele salvará).

The angels are [only] spirits who serve [God] [RHQ]. [God] sends them [to earth] in order to help those he has saved (OR, those whom he will save).
