Apocalipse 1
1 Revelação de Jesus Cristo, a qual Deus lhe deu, para mostrar a seus servos as coisas que devem acontecer em breve; e as enviou por meio de seu anjo, e as informou ao seu servo João.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 O qual deu testemunho da palavra de Deus, e do testemunho de Jesus Cristo, e de tudo o que ele viu.
Who bare record of the word (logos) of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Bem-aventurado [é] aquele que lê, e [também] os que ouvem as palavras desta profecia, e guardam as coisas nela escritas; porque o tempo [está] próximo.
Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words (logos) of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 João, às sete igrejas que estão na Ásia. Graça e paz sejam convosco, [provenientes] daquele que é, e que era, e que virá; e dos sete Espíritos que estão diante do trono dele;
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits (pneuma) which are before his throne;
5 E de Jesus Cristo, que é a fiel testemunha, o primogênito dos mortos, e Chefe dos reis da terra; àquele que nos amou, e em seu sangue nos lavou de nossos pecados;
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the First-Born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 E nos fez reis e sacerdotes a Deus e seu Pai; a ele [seja] a glória e o poder para todo o sempre, Amém! (aiōn g165)
And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 Eis que ele vem com as nuvens, e todo olho o verá, até mesmo aqueles que o perfuraram; e todas as tribos da terra lamentarão sobre ele. Sim! Amém!
Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all families of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 “Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega”, diz o Senhor Deus, que é, e que era, e que virá, o Todo-Poderoso.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
9 Eu, João, (que também sou vosso irmão, e companheiro na aflição, e no Reino, e [na] paciência de Jesus Cristo), estava na ilha chamada Patmos, por causa da palavra de Deus, e por causa do testemunho de Jesus Cristo.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word (logos) of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 No dia do Senhor, eu fui [arrebatado] em espírito, e atrás de mim eu ouvi uma grande voz, como de trombeta,
I was in the Spirit (pneuma) on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Dizendo: “O que tu estás vendo, escreve em um livro, e envia às sete igrejas: a Éfeso, e a Esmirna, e a Pérgamo, e a Tiatira, e a Sardes, e a Filadélfia, e a Laodiceia”.
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
12 E eu me virei para ver a voz que tinha falado comigo; e ao me virar, vi sete castiçais de ouro;
And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 E no meio dos sete castiçais, um semelhante a [o] Filho do homem, vestido até os pés de uma roupa comprida, e o tórax envolvido com um cinto de ouro;
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breast with a golden girdle.
14 E a cabeça e os cabelos dele eram brancos como a lã, brancos como a neve; e seus olhos como chama de fogo;
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 E os pés dele semelhantes a um metal valioso e reluzente, e ardentes como em fornalha; e a voz dele, como de muitas águas.
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 E tinha em sua [mão] direita sete estrelas; e de sua boca saía uma espada aguda de dois fios; e seu rosto como o sol brilhando em sua força.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.
17 E quando eu o vi, cai aos pés dele como que morto; e ele pôs sua mão direita sobre mim, [e] me disse: “Não temas; eu sou o primeiro e o último;
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
19 Escreve as coisas que tens visto, e as que são, e as que estão para acontecer;
Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 O mistério das sete estrelas, que viste em minha [mão] direita, e os sete castiçais de ouro: as sete estrelas são os anjos [ou mensageiros] das sete igrejas; e os sete castiçais que viste, são as sete igrejas.
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.
