Marcos 7
1 Os fariseus, e alguns dos escribas, que tinham vindo de Jerusalém, reuniram-se com ele.
And there were gathered unto Him the pharisees, and some of the scribes, from Jerusalem;
2 E viram que alguns dos discípulos dele comiam pão com mãos impuras, isto é, sem lavar.
and when they saw some of his disciples eating with impure (that is, unwashed) hands, they found fault:
3 (Pois os fariseus, e todos os judeus, mantendo a tradição dos antigos, se não lavarem bastante as mãos, não comem.
for the pharisees, and indeed all the Jews, do not eat till they have washed their hands thoroughly, observing the tradition of the ancients.
4 E, quando voltam da rua, se não se lavarem, não comem; e há muitas outras coisas que se encarregam de guardar, [como] lavar os copos, as vasilhas, e os utensílios de metal).
And when they come from the market, they do not eat till they have washed. And there are many other things, which they have received to observe, as the washing of cups, and pots, and brass-vessels, and seats.
5 Depois os fariseus e os escribas lhe perguntaram: Por que os teus discípulos não andam conforme a tradição dos antigos, em vez de comerem pão com as mãos impuras?
Then the pharisees and the scribes ask Him, Why do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the ancients, but eat without washing their hands?
6 E ele lhes respondeu: Bem profetizou Isaías acerca de vós, hipócritas! Como está escrito: Este povo me honra com os lábios, mas o seu coração está longe de mim.
But He answered them, Well did Esaias prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me:
7 Eles, porém, me honram em vão, ensinando como doutrinas mandamentos humanos.
and in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the injunctions of men.
8 Vós deixais o mandamento de Deus, e mantendes a tradição humana.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye retain the tradition of men, as the washings of pots and cups, and many other such like things.
9 E dizia-lhes: Vós dispensais o mandamento de Deus para guardardes a vossa tradição;
And ye expressly annul the commandment of God, that ye may retain your own tradition;
10 porque Moisés disse: Honra o teu pai e a tua mãe. E quem maldisser ao pai ou à mãe terá de morrer.
for Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He that revileth father or mother, let him be put to death:
11 Mas vós dizeis: Se o homem disser ao pai ou à mãe: Tudo o que te puder aproveitar de mim é corbã (isto é, oferta),
but ye say, If a man tell his father or mother, That which thou mightest be profited by from me is Corban, (that is, a gift to the temple) it sufficeth:
12 então não lhe deixais mais nada fazer por seu pai ou por sua mãe.
and so ye allow him to do nothing more for his father or his mother:
13 Assim invalidaias a palavra de Deus por vossa tradição, que ordenastes; e [fazeis] muitas coisas semelhantes a estas.
making void the word of God by your tradition, And many such like things ye do.
14 E chamando para si toda a multidão, disse-lhes: Ouvi-me todos, e entendei:
And calling all the people to Him, He said unto them,
15 Nada há fora do ser humano que nele entre que o possa contaminar; mas o que dele sai, isso é o que contamina o ser humano.
Hear me all of you, and understand, There is nothing without a man, which entring into him can defile him: but the things proceeding from him are those which defile a man.
If any one hath ears to hear, let him hear.
17 Quando [Jesus] deixou a multidão e entrou em casa, seus discípulos lhe perguntaram sobre a parábola.
And when He was come into the house, away from the multitude, his disciples asked Him concerning the meaning of the parable.
18 E ele lhes disse: Também vós estais assim sem entendimento? Não entendeis que tudo o que de fora entra no ser humano não o pode contaminar?
And He saith unto them, Are ye so void of understanding also? Do ye not know, that whatsoever from without entreth into a man cannot defile him?
19 Pois não entra no seu coração, mas, sim, no ventre, e sai para a privada. (Assim, ele declarou como limpas todas as comidas).
because it entreth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all his food.
20 E dizia: O que sai do ser humano, isso contamina o ser humano.
But said He, What cometh out of a man, that defileth the man;
21 Pois é de dentro do coração humano que vêm os maus pensamentos, os pecados sexuais, os roubos, os homicídios, os adultérios,
for out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts,
22 as ganâncias, as maldades, o engano, a depravação, o olho malicioso, a blasfêmia, a soberba, a insensatez.
adulteries, fornications, murthers, thefts, avarice, malice, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, slander, pride, folly;
23 Todos estes males procedem de dentro, e contaminam o ser humano.
all these evils come from within and defile the man.
24 [Jesus] levantou-se dali e foi para a região de Tiro. Ele entrou numa casa, e não queria que ninguém soubesse disso, mas não pôde se esconder.
And He arose and went from thence to the borders of Tyre and Sidon; and going into a house He would have had no body know it, but He could not be concealed: for a woman,
25 E logo uma mulher, cuja filhinha tinha um espírito imundo, assim que ouviu falar dele, veio, e prostrou-se a seus pés.
whose child was possessed by an evil spirit, having heard of Him, came and fell at his feet,
26 Esta mulher era grega, de nacionalidade sirofenícia; e rogava-lhe que expulsasse o demônio de sua filha.
(now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation, ) and she besought Him to cast out the demon from her daughter.
27 Mas [ Jesus ] lhe disse: Deixa primeiro que os filhos se fartem; porque não é bom tomar o pão dos filhos, e lançá-lo aos cachorrinhos.
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be satisfied: for it is not fit to take the children's bread, and throw it to the dogs.
28 Porém ela lhe respondeu: Sim Senhor; mas também os cachorrinhos comem debaixo da mesa, das migalhas que os filhos deixam.
And she answered and said unto Him, True, Lord, yet the dogs under the table, eat of the children's crumbs.
29 Então ele lhe disse: Por esta palavra, vai, o demônio já saiu da tua filha.
And He said unto her, For this saying, go thy way, the demon is gone out of thy daughter.
30 Quando ela chegou à sua casa, encontrou que o demônio já havia saído, e a criança estava deitada sobre a cama.
And she went away to her house, and found the demon gone out, and her daughter laid on the bed.
31 Então [Jesus] voltou a sair da região de Tiro e veio por Sidom para o mar da Galilea, por meio da região de Decápolis.
And departing again out of the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, He came to the sea of Galilee thro' the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
32 E trouxeram-lhe um surdo que dificilmente falava, e rogaram-lhe que pusesse a mão sobre ele.
And they brought to Him a deaf man, who had likewise an impediment in his speech, and pray Him to put his hand upon him.
33 E tomando-o em separado da multidão, pôs os seus dedos nos ouvidos dele, cuspiu, e tocou-lhe a língua.
And He took him aside out of the croud, and He spit and put his fingers into his ears, and touched his tongue:
34 Depois, levantando os olhos ao céu, suspirou, e disse: Efatá, (isto é, abre-te).
and looking up to heaven He sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, be opened:
35 Os ouvidos dele se abriram, e imediatamente o que prendia sua língua se soltou, e passou a falar bem.
and immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake distinctly.
36 [Jesus] lhes mandou que a ninguém dissessem; porém, quanto mais lhes mandava, mais divulgavam.
And He charged them to tell no one, but the more He charged them, the more they published it:
37 E ficavam muito admirados, dizendo: Ele faz tudo bem! Aos surdos faz ouvir, e aos mudos falar.
and were exceedingly astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
