Lucas 6
1 E aconteceu que, no sábado, [Jesus] passou pelas plantações, e seus discípulos iam arrancando espigas, e comiam, debulhando-as com as mãos.
Now on the second Sabbath ·To cease· after the first, he was going through the grain fields. His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate, rubbing them in their hands.
2 E alguns dos fariseus disseram: Por que fazeis o que não é lícito nos sábados?
But some of the Pharisees [Separated] said to them, “Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath ·To cease· day?”
3 E Jesus lhes respondeu: Nunca lestes isto, o que Davi fez quando teve fome, ele e os que com ele estavam?
Yeshua [Salvation], answering them, said, “Haven’t you read what David [Beloved] did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;
4 Como entrou na casa de Deus, tomou, e comeu os pães da apresentação, e deu aos que estavam com ele, [pães] que não é lícito comer, a não ser só os sacerdotes?
how he entered into God’s house, and took and ate the show bread from the table of Yahweh, and gave also to those who were with him, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests alone?”
5 E dizia-lhes: O Filho do homem é Senhor do sábado.
He said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath ·To cease·.”
6 E aconteceu em outro sábado que entrou na sinagoga, e estava ensinado; e ali estava um homem que tinha a mão direita definhada.
It also happened on another Sabbath ·To cease· that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.
7 E os escribas e fariseus o observavam, se o curaria no sábado; para acharem de que o acusar.
The Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated] watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath ·To cease·, that they might find an accusation against him.
8 Mas ele bem sabia dos seus pensamentos; e disse ao homem que tinha a mão definhada: Levanta-te, e põe-te em pé no meio. E ele se levantou e se pôs de pé.
But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Rise up, and stand in the middle.” He arose and stood.
9 Então Jesus lhes disse: Eu vos pergunto: É lícito no sábado fazer bem, ou fazer mal? Salvar uma pessoa, ou matá-la?
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath ·To cease· to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?”
10 E ele, olhando para todos em redor, disse-lhe: Estende a tua mão. E ele o fez; e a mão foi lhe restituída.
He looked around at them all, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did, and his hand was restored as sound as the other.
11 Então encheram-se de ira; e conversaram uns com os outros [sobre] o que fariam a Jesus.
But they were filled with rage, and talked with one another about what they might do to Yeshua [Salvation].
12 E aconteceu que naqueles dias ele foi ao monte para orar; e passou a noite orando a Deus.
In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
13 E quando já era dia, chamou a si os seus discípulos, e escolheu doze deles, a quem também chamou de apóstolos:
When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles:
14 Simão, a quem também chamou de Pedro, e seu irmão André; Tiago, e João; Filipe, e Bartolomeu.
Simeon [Hearing], whom he also named Peter [Rock]; Andrew [Manly], his brother; James [Surplanter]; John [Yah is gracious]; Philip [Loves horses]; Bartholomew [Son who suspends waters];
15 Mateus, Tomé; Tiago [filho] de Alfeu, e Simão chamado “o Zelote”.
Matthew [Gift of Yah]; Thomas [Seeker of truth]; James [Surplanter], the son of Alphaeus [Changing]; Simeon [Hearing], who was called the Zealot [Zealous follower];
16 Judas de Tiago, e Judas Iscariotes, o que foi o traidor.
Judas [Praised] the son of James [Surplanter]; and Judas Iscariot [Praised Dagger-man], who also became a traitor.
17 Ele desceu com eles, parou num lugar plano, e também [com ele] uma grande quantidade dos seus discípulos, e grande multidão do povo de toda a Judeia, de Jerusalém, da costa marítima de Tiro, e de Sidom,
He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea [Praise] and Jerusalem [City of peace], and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases;
18 que tinham vindo para o ouvir, e para serem curados das suas enfermidades, como também os atormentados por espíritos imundos foram curados.
as well as those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and they were being healed.
19 E toda a multidão procurava tocá-lo; porque dele saía poder, e curava a todos.
All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out of him and healed them all.
20 Ele levantou os olhos aos seus discípulos, e disse: Benditos sois vós, os pobres, porque o Reino de Deus é vosso.
He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, “Blessed are you who are poor, God’s Kingdom is yours.
21 Benditos sois vós que agora tendes fome, porque sereis saciados. Benditos sois vós que agora chorais, porque rireis.
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
22 Benditos sereis quando as pessoas vos odiarem, quando vos separarem, vos insultarem, e rejeitarem o vosso nome como mau, por causa do Filho do homem.
Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.
23 Contentai-vos nesse dia, e saltai de alegria, porque eis que grande é a vossa recompensa nos céus; pois assim os pais deles faziam aos profetas.
Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets.
24 Mas ai de vós, ricos, porque já tendes a vossa consolação.
“But woe to you who are rich! For you have received your consolation.
25 Ai de vós que agora estais saciados, porque tereis fome. Ai de vós que agora rides, porque lamentareis, e chorareis.
Woe to you, you who are full now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
26 Ai de vós quando todas as pessoas falarem bem de vós; porque assim os pais deles faziam aos falsos profetas.
Woe, when men speak well of you, for their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.
27 Mas a vós, que estais ouvindo, digo: amai os vossos inimigos; fazei bem aos que vos odeiam;
“But I tell you who hear: show agapao ·total devotion love· to your enemies, do good to those who hate and detest you,
28 bendizei aos que vos maldizem, e orai pelos que vos maltratam.
bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
29 Ao que te ferir numa face, oferece-lhe também a outra; e ao que te tirar a capa, não recuses a túnica.
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don’t withhold your coat also.
30 Dá a quem te pedir; e ao que te tomar o [que é] teu, não o peças de volta.
Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
31 E como vós quereis que as pessoas vos façam, fazei-lhes vós também da mesma maneira.
“As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.
32 E se amardes aos que vos amam, que mérito tereis? Pois também os pecadores amam os que os amam.
If you show agapao ·total devoted love· those who show agapao ·total devoted love· you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners show agapao ·total devoted love· to those who show agapao ·total devoted love· to them.
33 Pois se fizerdes bem aos que vos fazem bem, que mérito tereis? Também os pecadores fazem o mesmo.
If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34 E se emprestardes àqueles de quem esperais receber de volta, que mérito tereis? Também os pecadores emprestam aos pecadores, para receberam de volta o tanto equivalente.
If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.
35 Em vez disso, amai aos vossos inimigos, fazei o bem, e emprestai, sem nada esperar disso; e grande será a vossa recompensa, e sereis filhos do Altíssimo; porque é benigno [até] para com os ingratos e maus.
But show agapao ·total devoted love· to your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of haElyon [the Most High]; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
36 Sede misericordiosos, como também o vosso Pai é misericordioso.
“Therefore be merciful, even as 'Avikah ·your Father· is also merciful.
37 Não julgueis, e não sereis julgados; não condeneis, e não sereis condenados; liberai, e vos liberarão.
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.
38 Dai, e será vos dado; medida boa, comprimida, sacudida e transbordante vos darão no vosso colo; pois com a mesma medida que medirdes vos medirão de volta.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”
39 E disse-lhes também uma parábola: Acaso pode o cego guiar [outro] cego? Não cairão ambos no buraco?
He spoke a parable to them. “Can the blind guide the blind? Won’t they both fall into a pit?
40 O discípulo não está acima do mestre; mas todo aquele que estiver completamente capacitado será como o seu mestre.
A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.
41 E por que tu prestas atenção no cisco que está no olho do teu irmão, e não enxergas a trave que está no teu próprio olho?
Why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?
42 Ou como podes dizer a teu irmão: “Irmão, deixa-me tirar o cisco que está no teu olho”, se tu mesmo não prestas atenção na trave que está no teu olho? Hipócrita, tira primeiro a trave de teu olho, e então verás bem para tirar o cisco que está no olho do teu irmão.
Or how can you tell your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck of chaff that is in your eye,’ when you yourself don’t see the beam that is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck of chaff that is in your brother’s eye.
43 Pois não há boa árvore que dê mau fruto, nem árvore má que dê bom fruto.
For there is no good tree that produces rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that produces good fruit.
44 Porque cada árvore se conhece pelo seu próprio fruto; pois não se colhem figos dos espinheiros, nem se tiram uvas dos cardos.
For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don’t gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
45 A boa pessoa tira o bem do bom tesouro do coração, e a pessoa má tira o mal do mau tesouro; pois a sua boca fala daquilo que o coração tem em abundância.
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
46 E por que me chamais: “Senhor!”, “Senhor!”, e não fazeis o que eu digo?
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?
47 Todo aquele que vem a mim, ouve as minhas palavras, e as pratica, eu vos mostrarei a quem é semelhante:
Everyone who comes to me, and hears my words, and does them, I will show you who he is like.
48 Semelhante é ao homem que construiu uma casa, cavou, abriu bem fundo, e pôs o fundamento sobre a rocha; e quando veio a enchente, a corrente bateu com ímpeto naquela casa, e não a pôde abalar, porque tinha sido bem construída.
He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it was founded on the rock.
49 Mas aquele que ouve e não pratica é semelhante ao homem que construiu uma casa sobre a terra, sem fundamento, na qual a corrente bateu com ímpeto, e logo caiu; e foi grande a queda daquela casa.
But he who hears, and does not do, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”
