Lucas 21
1 E ele, olhando, viu os ricos lançarem suas ofertas na arca do tesouro [do templo].
And, looking up, he saw the, rich, who were casting their gifts into the treasury, —
2 E viu também uma pobre viúva lançar ali duas pequenas moedas.
and he saw a certain poor widow, casting in thither two mites;
3 E disse: Em verdade vos digo que esta pobre viúva lançou mais do que todos,
and he said—Of a truth, I say unto you—This destitute widow, more than they all, hath cast in;
4 Porque todos aqueles lançaram para as ofertas de Deus daquilo que lhes sobrava; mas esta [viúva], de sua pobreza, lançou todo o sustento que tinha.
For, all these, out of their superfluity, have cast in among the gifts, but, she, out of her deficiency, all the living that she had, hath cast in.
5 E alguns estavam falando do templo, que era adornado com formosas pedras e ofertas. Então [Jesus] disse:
And, certain saying, of the temple—With beautiful stones and offerings, hath it been adorned! he said—
6 Destas coisas que vedes, dias virão, em que não se deixará pedra sobre pedra, que não seja derrubada.
As to these things, which ye are looking upon, There will come days, in which there will not be left here, stone upon stone, which will not be taken down.
7 E perguntaram-lhe, dizendo: Mestre, quando, pois, serão essas coisas? E que sinal haverá, quando essas coisas vierem a acontecer?
And they questioned him, saying—Teacher! when, therefore, will these things be? And, what the sign, when these things shall be about to come to pass?
8 Então ele disse: Olhai para que não vos enganem, porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou [o Cristo]. E o tempo já está perto; portanto não os sigais.
And, he, said—Be taking heed ye be not deceived; for, many, will come upon my name, saying—I, am he, —and—The season, hath drawn near! Do not go after them.
9 E quando ouvirdes de guerras, e de rebeliões, não vos espanteis. Porque é necessário que estas coisas aconteçam primeiro; mas ainda não é o fim.
But, whensoever ye shall hear of wars and revolutions, be not terrified, —for these things, must needs, come to pass first, but, not immediately, is the end.
10 Então lhe disse: Então se levantará nação contra nação, e reino contra reino.
Then, said he unto them—There will rise up, nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
11 E haverá em vários lugares grandes terremotos e fomes, e pragas; haverá também coisas espantosas, e grandes sinais do céu.
As well great earthquakes, as also, in places, pestilences and famines, will there be, as well objects of terror, as also, from heaven, great signs, will there be.
12 Mas antes de tudo isto, eles vos impedirão e vos perseguirão, [vos] entregando em sinagogas e prisões, [e] vos trazendo diante de reis, e governadores, por causa do meu nome.
And before, all these things, they will thrust upon you their hands, and persecute you, delivering you up into the synagogues and prisons, —when ye have been led away before kings and governors, for the sake of my name;
13 E isto vos acontecerá para haver testemunho.
But it shall turn out to you for a witness.
14 Portanto, que vós decidais nos vossos corações não planejar como direis em vossa defesa,
Settle, then, in your hearts, not to be studying beforehand, how to make defense;
15 porque eu vos darei boca e sabedoria, para que todos os que forem contra vós não posam [vos] contradizer ou resistir.
For, I, will give you a mouth and wisdom, which one-and-all who are setting themselves against, you shall be unable to withstand or gainsay.
16 E vós sereis entregues até pelos pais, e irmãos, e parentes, e amigos; e [alguns] de vós serão mortos.
But ye will be delivered up, even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends, and they will put to death some from among you;
17 E vós sereis odiados por todos por causa do meu nome.
And ye will be hated by all, because of my name:
18 Mas nem um cabelo de vossa cabeça parecerá.
And, a hair of your head, in nowise shall perish, —
19 Por vossa paciência ganhareis vossas almas.
By your endurance, shall ye gain your lives for a possession.
20 Porém quando virdes a Jerusalém cercada de exércitos, sabei então, que próxima está sua desolação.
But whensoever ye shall see Jerusalem, encompassed by armies, then, know, that her desolation hath drawn near.
21 Então, os que estiverem na Judeia, fujam para os montes; e os que estiverem no meio dela, saiam, e os que estiverem nos campos, não entrem nela.
Then they who are in Judaea, let them flee into the mountains, and they who are in her midst, let them go forth, —and they who are in the fields, let them not enter into her;
22 Porque estes são dias de vingança, para que todas as coisas que estão escritas se cumpram.
For, days of avenging, are, these, for all the things written to be fulfilled.
23 Mas ai das grávidas, e das que amamentarem naqueles dias; porque grande calamidade haverá na terra, e ira contra este povo.
Alas! for the women with child, and for them who are giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and anger against this people.
24 E cairão pela lâmina de espada, e serão levados cativos para todas as nações; e Jerusalém será pisada pelos gentios, até que os tempos dos gentios se cumpram.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be carried away captive into all the nations, and, Jerusalem, shall be trodden down by the nations, until the seasons of the nations shall be fulfilled [and shall be].
25 E haverá sinais no Sol, [na] Lua, e [nas] estrelas; e na terra sofrimento entre as nações, como o rugir e agitar do mar.
And there will he signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and, on the earth, anguish of nations in embarrassment—sea and surge resounding, —
26 As pessoas desmaiarão de medo e da expectativa das coisas que vão acontecer ao mundo, porque os poderes dos céus serão abalados.
Men fainting, from fear and expectation of the things overtaking the inhabited earth. For, the powers of the heavens, will be shaken.
27 E então verão o Filho do homem vir em uma nuvem com grande poder e glória.
And, then, will they see the Son of Man—coming in a cloud, with great power and glory.
28 Ora, quando estas coisas começarem a acontecer, olhai para cima, e levantai vossas cabeças, porque vosso resgate está perto.
And, when these things are beginning to come to pass, unbend and lift up your heads, because that, your redemption, is drawing near.
29 E disse-lhes uma parábola: Olhai a figueira, e todas as árvores;
And he spake a parable unto them: See the fig-tree, and all the trees, —
30 Quando vós vedes elas já brotando, sabeis por vós mesmos que o verão já está perto.
Whensoever they have already budded, seeing it, of yourselves, ye observe that, already near, is, the summer:
31 Assim também vós, quando virdes acontecer estas coisas, sabei que o Reino de Deus já está perto.
Thus, ye also, whensoever ye shall see, these, things coming to pass, observe ye, that, near, is the kingdom of God!
32 Em verdade vos digo, que esta geração não passará, até que tudo aconteça.
Verily, I say unto you—In nowise shall this generation pass away, until, all things, shall happen:
33 O céu e a terra passarão, mas minhas palavras de maneira nenhuma passarão.
Heaven and earth, will pass away, but, my word, in nowise will pass away.
34 E olhai por vós, para que vossos corações não venham a se encher de ressaca e embriaguez, e das preocupações d [esta] vida; e vos venha aquele dia de surpresa.
But be taking heed unto yourselves, lest once your hearts be made heavy—with debauch and drunkenness and anxieties about livelihood, and that day come upon you suddenly,
35 Porque virá como uma armadilha sobre todos os que habitam sobre a face de toda a terra.
as a snare, —For it will come in by surprise, upon all them that are dwelling on the face of all the earth.
36 Então vigiai sempre, orando para que sejais considerados dignos de escaparem de todas as coisas que irão acontecer, e de ficarem de pé diante do Filho do homem.
But be watching in every season, making supplication, that ye may gain full vigour, to escape all these things that are about to be coming to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
37 E ensinava durante os dias no Templo, porém, às noites saía e as passava no monte, chamado as Oliveiras.
And he was, by day, in the temple, teaching; but, by night, going forth, he was lodging in the mount which is called the Mount of Olives.
38 E todo o povo vinha até ele de manhã cedo ao templo, para o ouvir.
And, all the people, were coming at day-break unto him, in the temple, to be hearkening unto him.
