Ezequiel 25

1 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

The LORD’s word came to me, saying,

2 Filho do homem, dirige tua face contra os filhos de Amom, e profetiza sobre eles.

“Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.

3 E diz aos filhos de Amom: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS; assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que disseste: Ha, ha! Acerca de meu santuário quando foi profanado, e acerca da terra de Israel quando foi desolada, e acerca da casa de Judá quando foram ao cativeiro,

Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

4 Por isso, eis, eu te entregarei como possessão aos filhos do oriente, e estabelecerão suas acampamentos em ti, e porão suas tendas em ti; eles comerão teus frutos e beberão teu leite.

therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.

5 E tornarei a Rabá em estábulo de camelos, e os filhos de Amom em curral de ovelhas; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.

I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

6 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que bateste palmas, e bateste o pés, e te alegraste na alma em todo teu desprezo sobre a terra de Israel,

For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,

7 Por isso, eis que eu estenderei minha mão contra ti, e te entregarei às nações para seres saqueada; e eu te cortarei dentre os povos, e te destruirei dentre as terras; eu te eliminarei, e saberás que eu sou o SENHOR.

therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

8 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Visto que Moabe e Seir dizem: Eis que a casa de Judá é como todas as nações,

“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’

9 Por isso, eis que abrirei a lateral de Moabe desde as cidades, desde suas cidades que estão em suas fronteiras, as melhores terras: Bete-Jesimote, e Baal-Meom, e até Quiriataim;

therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

10 Serão para os filhos do oriente, com [a terra] dos filhos de Amom; e a entregarei por possessão, para que não haja lembrança dos filhos de Amom entre as nações.

to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

11 Também farei julgamentos em Moabe; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.

I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

12 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que Edom se vingou contra a casa de Judá, e se tornaram extremamente culpados ao se vingarem deles;

“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”

13 Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu também estenderei minha mão contra [a terra de] Edom: exterminarei dela homens e animais, e a tornarei desolada; desde Temã e Dedã cairão à espada.

therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.

14 E me vingarei contra Edom pela mão do meu povo Israel; e farão em Edom segundo minha ira, e conhecerão minha vingança, diz o Senhor DEUS.

I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.

15 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que os filisteus agiram com vingança, quando se vingaram com desprezo na alma, destruindo por hostilidades antigas,

“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”

16 Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estendo minha mão contra os filisteus, e exterminarei os queretitas, e destruirei o resto da costa do mar.

therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17 E farei neles grandes vinganças, com castigos de furor; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando me vingar deles.

I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
