2 Coríntios 6
1 E nós, como trabalhadores conjuntamente [com ele], rogamos que não tenhais recebido a graça de Deus em vão.
We then, as workers together with him, plead to you also that all of you receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 Porque ele diz: Em tempo agradável te ouvi, e no dia da salvação te socorri; eis agora o tempo agradável, eis agora o dia da salvação
(For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3 Escândalo nenhum damos em coisa alguma, para que [nosso] trabalho não seja acusado.
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 Mas em tudo nos fizemos agradáveis como trabalhadores de Deus, em muita tolerância, em aflições, em necessidades, em angústias;
But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 Em açoites, em prisões, em tumultos, em trabalhos, em vigílias, em jejuns;
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 Em pureza, em conhecimento, em paciência, em bondade, no Espírito Santo, em amor não fingido;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) by love (agape) sincere,
7 Em palavra da verdade, em poder de Deus, com armas da justiça, à esquerda, e à direita;
By the word (logos) of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 Por honra e por desonra; por infâmia e por boa fama; [considerados] como enganadores, e como verdadeiros.
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9 Como estranhos, e conhecidos; como morrendo, e eis que estamos vivendo; como castigados e [ainda] não mortos.
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 Como entristecidos, porém sempre alegres; como pobres, porém enriquecendo a muitos; como nada tendo, e possuindo tudo.
As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 Para vós, ó coríntios, está aberta nossa boca; [e] nosso coração está ampliado.
O all of you Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 Nós não temos lhes estreitado, mas vós estais estreitos em nossos sentimentos.
All of you are not straitened in us, but all of you are straitened in your own bowels.
13 E em recompensa disto (falo como a filhos) alargai vós também.
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children, ) be all of you also enlarged.
14 Não vos ajunteis em outro jugo com os descrentes. Porque, que parceria tem a justiça com injustiça? E que parceria tem a luz com as trevas?
Be all of you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?
15 E que acordo há entre Cristo e Belial? Ou que parte tem o crente com o incrédulo?
And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel?
16 E que acordo há entre o Templo de Deus e os ídolos? Porque vós sois o templo do Deus vivente, como Deus disse: Neles habitarei, e entre [eles] andarei; e eu serei seu Deus, e eles serão meu povo.
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for all of you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Portanto: saí do meio deles, e vos separai, diz o Senhor; e não toqueis coisa impura, e eu vos aceitarei.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be all of you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 E eu vos serei por Pai, e vós sereis para mim filhos e filhas, diz o Senhor Todo Poderoso.
And will be a Father unto you, and all of you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
