1 Crônicas 5
1 Quanto aos filhos de Rúben, primogênito de Israel (porque ele era o primogênito, mas como profanou a cama de de seu pai, seu direito de primogenitura foi dado aos filhos de José, filho de Israel; e não foi contado por primogênito.
As for sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel—for he [is] the firstborn, and on account of his profaning the bed of his father his birthright has been given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and [he is] not to be reckoned by genealogy for the birthright,
2 Pois Judá foi o mais poderoso sobre seus irmãos, e o líder veio dele; mas o direito de primogenitura pertenceu a José).
for Judah has been mighty over his brother, and for leader above him, and the birthright [is] to Joseph—
3 Os filhos de Rúben, primogênito de Israel, foram, pois: Enoque, Palu, Hezrom e Carmi.
sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel: Enoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 Os filhos de Joel foram: seu filho Semaías, seu filho Gogue, seu filho Simei;
Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 Seu filho Mica, seu filho Reaías, seu filho Baal;
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Ba‘al his son,
6 Seu filho Beera, o qual foi transportado por Tiglate-Pilneser, rei dos Assírios. Este era um líder dos Rubenitas.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur removed; he [is] prince of the Reubenite.
7 E seus irmãos por suas famílias, quando foram registrados em suas descendências, tinham por líderes a Jeiel, Zacarias.
And his brothers, by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, [are] heads: Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 E Belá, filho de Azaz, filho de Sema, filho de Joel. Eles habitaram em Aroer até Nebo e Baal-Meom.
and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel—he is dwelling in Aroer, even to Nebo and Ba‘al-Meon;
9 Habitaram também desde o oriente até a entrada do deserto desde o rio Eufrates; porque seu gado tinha se multiplicado na terra de Gileade.
and he dwelt at the east even to the entering in of the wilderness, even from the Euphrates River, for their livestock were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 E nos dias de Saul fizeram guerra contra os hagarenos, que caíram em suas mãos; e eles habitaram em suas tendas sobre toda a região oriental de Gileade.
And they have made war with the Hagarites in the days of Saul, who fall by their hand, and they dwell in their tents over all the face of the east of Gilead.
11 E os filhos de Gade habitaram na vizinhança deles na terra de Basã até Salca.
And the sons of Gad have dwelt opposite them in the land of Bashan to Salcah:
12 E Joel foi o líder em Basã, o segundo Safã, em seguida Janai, e Safate.
Joel the head, and Shapham the second, and Jaanai and Shaphat in Bashan;
13 E seus irmãos, segundo as famílias de seus pais, foram sete: Micael, Mesulão, Sebá, Jorai, Jacã, Zia, e Héber.
and their brothers of the house of their fathers [are] Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber—seven.
14 Estes foram os filhos de Abiail filho de Huri, filho de Jaroa, filho de Gileade, filho de Micael, filho de Jesisai, filho de Jado, filho de Buz.
These [are] sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;
15 Aí, filho de Abdiel, filho de Guni, foi chefe da casa de seus pais.
Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, [is] head of the house of their fathers;
16 Eles habitaram em Gileade, em Basã, e em suas aldeias, e em todos os campos de Sarom até os seus extremos.
and they dwell in Gilead in Bashan, and in her small towns, and in all outskirts of Sharon, on their outskirts;
17 Todos estes foram contados segundo suas genealogias nos dias de Jotão, rei de Judá, e no dias de Jeroboão, rei de Israel.
all of them reckoned themselves by genealogy in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Os filhos de Rúben, e de Gade, e da meia tribo de Manassés, homens guerreiros, homens que traziam escudo e espada, que entesavam arco, e habilidosos em guerra, havia quarenta e quatro mil setecentos e sessenta capazes de ir para a batalha.
Sons of Reuben, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, of sons of valor, men carrying shield and sword, and treading bow, and taught in battle, [are] forty-four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going out to the host.
19 E fizeram guerra contra os Hagarenos, como também a Jetur, Nafis, e Nodabe.
And they make war with the Hagarites, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab,
20 E foram ajudados contra ele; assim os hagarenos, e todos quantos estavam com eles, foram enregues em suas mãos, porque clamaram a Deus na batalha, e ele lhes atendeu, pois confiaram nele.
and they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who [are] with them, for they cried to God in battle, and He received their plea, because they trusted in Him.
21 E tomaram seu gado, cinquenta mil de seus camelos, duzentas e cinquenta mil ovelhas, dois mil asnos, e cem mil pessoas.
And they take their livestock captive—fifty thousand of their camels, and two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, and two thousand donkeys, and one hundred thousand of mankind;
22 E muitos caíram mortos, porque a guerra era de Deus; e habitaram em seus lugares até o cativeiro.
for many have fallen pierced, for the battle [is] of God; and they dwell in their stead until the expulsion.
23 E os filhos da meia tribo de Manassés habitaram naquela terra, e eles se multiplicaram desde Basã até Baal-Hermom, e Senir e o monte de Hermom.
And the sons of the half of the tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan to Ba‘al-Hermon, and Senir, and Mount Hermon; they have multiplied.
24 E estes foram os cabeças das casas de seus pais: Efer, Isi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremias, Hodavias, e Jadiel, homens valentes e fortes, homens renomados, e cabeças das casas de seus pais.
And these [are] heads of the house of their fathers: even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, men mighty in valor, men of renown, heads of the house of their fathers.
25 Porém eles transgrediram contra o Deus de seus pais, e se prostituíram seguindo os deuses dos povos da terra, aos quais o SENHOR havia destruído de diante deles.
And they trespass against the God of their fathers, and go whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed from their presence;
26 Por isso o Deus de Israel despertou ao espírito de Pul, rei da Assíria, e ao espírito de Tiglate-Pilneser, rei da Assíria, o qual levou presos os rubenitas, os gaditas e à meia tribo de Manassés, e os trouxe até Hala, Habor, Hara, e ao rio Gozã, até hoje.
and the God of Israel stirs up the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirit of Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur, and he removes them—even the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh—and brings them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and the River of Gozan to this day.
