Romanos 10
1 Irmãos, o bom desejo do meu coração e a oração a Deus por Israel, é para sua salvação.
Brethren my hertes desyre and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.
2 Porque lhes dou testemunho de que têm zelo de Deus, mas não com entendimento.
For I beare them recorde that they have a fervet mynde to God warde but not accordinge to knowledge.
3 Porque, não conhecendo a justiça de Deus, e procurando estabelecer a sua própria justiça, não se sujeitaram à justiça de Deus.
For they are ignoraut of the rightewesnes which is alowed before God and goo about to stablisshe their awne rightewesnes and therfore are not obedient vnto the rightewesnes which is of valew before God.
4 Porque o fim da lei é Cristo para justiça de todo aquele que crê.
For Christ is the ende of the lawe to iustifie all that beleve.
5 Porque Moisés descreve a justiça que é pela lei, dizendo: O homem que fizer estas coisas viverá por elas.
Moses describeth the rightewesnes which cometh of ye lawe howe that the man which doth the thinges of the lawe shall lyve therin.
6 Mas a justiça que é pela fé diz assim: Não digas em teu coração: Quem subirá ao céu? (isto é, a trazer do alto a Cristo)
But ye rightewesnes which cometh of fayth speaketh on this wyse. Saye not in thyne hert who shall ascende into heven? (that is nothinge els then to fetch Christ doune)
Other who shall descende into the depe? (that is nothinge els but to fetch vp Christ from deeth) (Abyssos g12)
8 Mas que diz? A palavra está junto de ti, na tua boca e no teu coração; esta é a palavra da fé, que pregamos,
But what sayth the scripture? The worde is nye the even in thy mouth and in thyn herte. This worde is the worde of fayth which we preache.
9 A saber: Se com a tua boca confessares ao Senhor Jesus, e em teu coração creres que Deus o resuscitou dos mortos, serás salvo.
For yf thou shalt knowledge wt thy mouth that Iesus is the lorde and shalt beleve with thyn hert that God raysed him up from deeth thou shalt be safe.
10 Porque com o coração se crê para a justiça, e com a boca se faz confissão para a salvação.
For the belefe of the hert iustifieth: and to knowledge with the mouth maketh a man safe.
11 Porque a escritura diz: Todo aquele que nele crer não será confundido.
For the scripture sayth: whosoever beleveth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 Porque não há diferença entre judeu e grego; porque um mesmo é o Senhor de todos os que o invocam.
Ther is no difference bitwene the Iewe and the gentyll. For one is Lorde of all which is ryche vnto all that call on him.
13 Porque todo aquele que invocar o nome do Senhor será salvo.
For whosoever shall call on the name of the lorde shalbe safe.
14 Como pois invocarão aquele em quem não creram? e como crerão naquele de quem não ouviram? e como ouvirão, se não há quem pregue?
But how shall they call on him on who they beleved not? how shall they beleve on him of whom they have not herde? how shall they heare with out a preacher?
15 E como pregarão, se não forem enviados? como está escrito: Quão formosos são os pés dos que anunciam a paz, dos que anunciam coisas boas!
And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges.
16 Mas nem todos obedecem ao evangelho; porque Isaias diz: Senhor, quem creu na nossa pregação?
But they have not all obeyed to ye gospell. For Esaias sayth: Lorde who shall beleve oure sayinges?
17 De sorte que a fé é pelo ouvir, e o ouvir pela palavra de Deus.
So then fayth cometh by hearynge and hearynge cometh by the worde of God.
18 Mas digo: Porventura não ouviram? Sim, por certo, pois por toda a terra saiu o som deles, e as suas palavras até aos confins do mundo.
But I axe: have they not herde? No dout their sounde went out into all londes: and their wordes in to the endes of the worlde.
19 Mas digo: Porventura Israel não o conheceu? Primeiramente diz Moisés: Eu vos meterei em ciúmes com aqueles que não são povo, com gente insensata vos provocarei à ira.
But I demaunde whether Israel dyd knowe or not? Fyrst Moses sayth: I will provoke you for to envy by the that are no people and by a folisshe nacion I will anger you.
20 E Isaias se atreve, e diz: Fui achado pelos que me não buscavam, fui manifestado aos que por mim não perguntavam.
Esaias after that is bolde and sayth. I am founde of the that sought me not and have appered to them that axed not after me.
21 Mas contra Israel diz: Todo o dia estendi as minhas mãos a um povo rebelde e contradizente.
And agaynst Israel he sayth: All daye longe have I stretched forth my hondes vnto a people yt beleveth not but speaketh agaynst me.
