Neemias 7
1 Sucedeu mais que, depois que o muro fôra edificado, eu levantei as portas; e foram estabelecidos os porteiros, e os cantores, e os levitas.
Now when the wall was built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Eu nomeei a Hanani, meu irmão, e a Hananias, maioral da fortaleza em Jerusalém: porque era como homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais do que muitos.
I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man and feared God above many.
3 E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça, e enquanto os que assistirem ali fechem as portas, e vós trancai-as: e ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um na sua guarda, e cada um diante da sua casa.
I said to them, “Don’t let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them; and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house.”
4 E era a cidade larga de Espaço, e grande, porém pouco povo havia dentro dela: e ainda as casas não estavam edificadas.
Now the city was wide and large; but the people were few therein, and the houses were not built.
5 Então o meu Deus me pôs no coração que ajuntasse os nobres, e os magistrados, e o povo, para registrar as genealogias: e achei o livro da genealogia dos que subiram primeiro e assim achei escrito nele:
My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be listed by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found this written in it:
6 Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro dos transportados, que transportara Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia; e voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade.
These are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, everyone to his city,
7 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesué, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardiques, Bilsan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, e Baana: este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel.
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8 Foram os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
The children of Parosh: two thousand and one hundred and seventy-two.
9 Os filhos de Sephatias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
The children of Shephatiah: three hundred and seventy-two.
10 Os filhos de Arah, seiscentos e cincoênta e dois.
The children of Arah: six hundred and fifty-two.
11 Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesué e de Joab, dois mil, oitocentos e dezoito.
The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab: two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 Os filhos de Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
The children of Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
13 Os filhos de Zatthu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.
The children of Zattu: eight hundred and forty-five.
14 Os filhos de Zaccai, setecentos e sessenta.
The children of Zaccai: seven hundred and sixty.
15 Os filhos de Binnui, seiscentos e quarenta e oito.
The children of Binnui: six hundred and forty-eight.
16 Os filhos de Babai, seiscentos e vinte e oito.
The children of Bebai: six hundred and twenty-eight.
17 Os filhos de Azgad, dois mil, trezentos e vinte e dois.
The children of Azgad: two thousand and three hundred and twenty-two.
18 Os filhos de Adonikam, seiscentos e sessenta e sete.
The children of Adonikam: six hundred and sixty-seven.
19 Os filhos de Bigvai, dois mil e sessenta e sete.
The children of Bigvai: two thousand and sixty-seven.
20 Os filhos de Adin, seiscentos e cincoênta e cinco.
The children of Adin: six hundred and fifty-five.
21 Os filhos de Ater, de Hizkia, noventa e oito.
The children of Ater: of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
22 Os filhos de Hassum, trezentos e vinte e oito.
The children of Hashum: three hundred and twenty-eight.
23 Os filhos de Besai, trezentos e vinte e quatro.
The children of Bezai: three hundred and twenty-four.
24 Os filhos de Hariph, cento e doze.
The children of Hariph: one hundred and twelve.
25 Os filhos de Gibeon, noventa e cinco.
The children of Gibeon: ninety-five.
26 Os homens de Belém e de Netopha, cento e oitenta e oito.
The men of Bethlehem and Netophah: one hundred and eighty-eight.
27 Os homens de Anathoth, cento e vinte e oito.

29 Os homens de Kiriath-jearim, Cephira, e Beeroth, setecentos e quarenta e três.
The men of Kiriath Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth: seven hundred and forty-three.
30 Os homens de Rama e Gaba, seiscentos e vinte e um.
The men of Ramah and Geba: six hundred and twenty-one.
31 Os homens de Michmas, cento e vinte e dois.
The men of Michmas: one hundred and twenty-two.
32 Os homens de bethel e Ai, cento e vinte e três.
The men of Bethel and Ai: one hundred and twenty-three.
33 Os homens doutra Nebo, cincoênta e dois.
The men of the other Nebo: fifty-two.
34 Os filhos de outro Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
The children of the other Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
35 Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte.
The children of Harim: three hundred and twenty.
36 Os filhos de Jericó, trezentos e quarenta e cinco.
The children of Jericho: three hundred and forty-five.
37 Os filhos de Lod, Hadid e Ono, setecentos e vinte e um.
The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono: seven hundred and twenty-one.
38 Os filhos de Senaa, três mil, novecentos e trinta.
The children of Senaah: three thousand and nine hundred and thirty.
39 Os sacerdotes: Os filhos de Jedaias, da casa de Jesué, novecentos e setenta e três.
The priests: The children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua: nine hundred and seventy-three.

41 Os filhos de Pashur, mil, duzentos e quarenta e sete.
The children of Pashhur: one thousand and two hundred and forty-seven.

43 Os levitas: Os filhos de Jesué, de Kadmiel, dos filhos de Hodeva, setenta e quatro.
The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, of the children of Hodevah: seventy-four.
44 Os cantores: os filhos d'Asaph, cento e quarenta e oito.
The singers: the children of Asaph: one hundred and forty-eight.
45 Os porteiros: os filhos de Sallum, os filhos de Ater, os filhos de Talmon, os filhos de Hacub, os filhos de Hattita, os filhos de Sobai, cento e trinta e oito.
The gatekeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai: one hundred and thirty-eight.
46 Os nethineos: os filhos de Ziha, os filhos de Hasupha, os filhos de Tabbaoth,
The temple servants: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 Os filhos de Jaela, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
the children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos de Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-zebaim, os filhos de Amon.
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Hazzebaim, and the children of Amon.
60 Todos os nethineos e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the temple servants and the children of Solomon’s servants were three hundred and ninety-two.
61 Também estes subiram de Thel-melah, e Thel-harsa, Cherub, Addon, Immer: porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais e a sua linhagem, se eram de Israel.
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses, nor their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
62 Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda: six hundred and forty-two.
63 E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomara uma mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e se chamou do nome delas.
Of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
64 Estes buscaram o seu registro, querendo contar a sua geração, porém não se achou: pelo que, como imundos, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.
These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn’t find them. Therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.
65 E o tirsatha lhes disse, que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que se apresentasse o sacerdote com Urim e tumim.
The governor told them not to eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to minister with Urim and Thummim.
66 Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil, trezentos e sessenta,
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand and three hundred and sixty,
67 A fora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
in addition to their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand and three hundred and thirty-seven. They had two hundred and forty-five singing men and singing women.
68 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco.
Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
69 Camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
their camels, four hundred and thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand and seven hundred and twenty.
70 E uma parte dos cabeças dos pais deram para a obra: o tirsatha deu para o tesouro, em ouro, mil dracmas, cincoênta bacias, e quinhentas e trinta vestes sacerdotais.
Some from amongst the heads of fathers’ households gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 E alguns mais dos cabeças dos pais deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata, duas mil e duzentas libras.
Some of the heads of fathers’ households gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand and two hundred minas of silver.
72 E o que deu o resto do povo, foi, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata duas mil libras: e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
That which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, plus two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ garments.
73 E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os porteiros, e os cantores, e alguns do povo, e os nethineos, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
So the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
