1 Crônicas 16
1 Trazendo pois a arca de Deus, a puseram no meio da tenda que David lhe tinha armado; e ofereceram holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos perante Deus.
So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, —and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.
2 E, acabando David de oferecer os holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos, abençoou o povo em nome do Senhor.
And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.
3 E repartiu a todos em Israel, tanto a homens como a mulheres, a cada um um pão, e um bom pedaço de carne, e um frasco de vinho.
And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, —to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.
4 E pôs perante a arca do Senhor alguns dos levitas por ministros; e isto para recordarem, e louvarem, e celebrarem ao Senhor Deus de Israel.
And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, —and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;
5 Era Asaph o chefe, e Zacarias o segundo depois dele: Jeiel, e Semiramoth, e Jehiel, e Mattithias, e Eliab, e Benaias, e Obed-edom, e Jeiel, com alaúdes e com harpas; e Asaph se fazia ouvir com címbalos;
Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah, —Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:
6 Também Benaias, e Jahaziel, os sacerdotes, continuamente com trombetas, perante a arca do concerto de Deus.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, —with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Então naquele mesmo dia entregou David em primeiro lugar o salmo seguinte, para louvarem ao Senhor, pelo ministério de Asaph e de seus irmãos:
On that day, then, David gave [these songs] in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh, —through Asaph, and his brethren: —
8 Louvai ao Senhor, invocai o seu nome, fazei conhecidos entre os povos os seus feitos.
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;
9 Cantai-lhe, salmodiai-lhe, atentamente falai de todas as suas maravilhas.
Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
10 Glóriai-vos no seu santo nome; alegre-se o coração dos que buscam ao Senhor.
Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
11 Buscai ao Senhor, e a sua força; buscai a sua face continuamente.
Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.
12 Lembrai-vos das suas maravilhas que tem feito, de seus prodígios, e dos juízos da sua boca.
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.
13 Vós, semente de Israel, seus servos, vós, filhos de Jacob, seus eleitos.
O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:
14 Ele é o Senhor nosso Deus; em toda a terra estão os seus juízos.
Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.
15 Lembrai-vos perpetuamente do seu concerto e da palavra que prescreveu para mil gerações;
Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;
16 Do concerto que contratou com Abraão, e do seu juramento a Isaac;
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
17 O qual também a Jacob ratificou por estatuto, e a Israel por concerto eterno,
And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:
18 Dizendo: A ti te darei a terra de Canaan, quinhão da vossa herança.
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:
19 Sendo vós em pequeno número, poucos homens, e estrangeiros nela.
While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:
20 E andaram de nação em nação, e dum reino para outro povo.
And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:
21 A ninguém permitiu que os oprimisse, e por amor deles repreendeu reis, dizendo:
He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—kings!
22 Não toqueis os meus ungidos, e aos meus profetas não façais mal.
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
23 Cantai ao Senhor em toda a terra; anunciai de dia em dia a sua salvação.
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:
24 Contai entre as nações a sua glória, entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.
25 Porque grande é o Senhor, e muito para louvar, e mais tremendo é do que todos os deuses.
For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;
26 Porque todos os deuses das nações são vaidades; porém o Senhor fez os céus.
For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.
27 Magestade e esplendor há diante dele, força e alegria no seu lugar.
Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.
28 Dai ao Senhor, ó famílias das nações, dai ao Senhor glória e força.
Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:
29 Dai ao Senhor a glória de seu nome; trazei presentes, e vinde perante ele: adorai ao Senhor na beleza da sua santidade.
Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name, —Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:
30 Trema perante ele, trema toda a terra; pois o mundo se afirmará, para que se não abale.
Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.
31 Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; e diga-se entre as nações: O Senhor reina.
Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!
32 Brama o mar com a sua plenitude; exulte o campo com tudo o que há nele.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:
33 Então jubilarão as árvores dos bosques perante o Senhor; porquanto vem a julgar a terra.
Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.
34 Louvai ao Senhor, porque é bom; pois a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
35 E dizei: Salva-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e ajunta-nos, e livra-nos das nações; para que louvemos o teu santo nome, e nos gloriemos do teu louvor.
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations, —that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
36 Louvado seja o Senhor Deus de Israel, de século em século. E todo o povo disse: amém! e louvou ao Senhor.
Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.
37 Então deixou ali, diante da arca do concerto do Senhor, a Asaph e a seus irmãos, para ministrarem continuamente perante a arca, segundo se ordenara para cada dia.
So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren, —to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;
38 E mais a Obed-edom, com seus irmãos, sessenta e oito: a este Obed-edom, filho de Jeduthun, e a Hosa, ordenou por porteiros.
and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight, —and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39 E mais a Zadok, o sacerdote, e a seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, diante do tabernáculo do Senhor, no alto que está em Gibeon,
and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh, —in the high place that was in Gibeon:
40 Para offerecerem ao Senhor os holocaustos sobre o altar dos holocaustos continuamente, pela manhã e à tarde: e isto segundo tudo o que está escrito na lei do Senhor que tinha prescrito a Israel.
to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —continually, morning and evening, —even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;
41 E com eles a Heman, e a Jeduthun, e aos mais escolhidos, que foram apontados pelos seus nomes, para louvarem ao Senhor, porque a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name, —to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!
42 Com eles pois estavam Heman e Jeduthun, com trombetas e címbalos, para os que se faziam ouvir, e com instrumentos de música de Deus: porém os filhos de Jeduthun estavam à porta.
And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, [with] the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God, —and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.
43 Então se foi todo o povo, cada um para a sua casa: e tornou David, para abençoar a sua casa.
And all the people departed, every man to his house, —and David went round, to bless his own household.
