Salmos 61

1 Ouve, ó Deus, o meu clamor; attende á minha oração.

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 Desde o fim da terra clamarei a ti, quando o meu coração estiver desmaiado; leva-me para a rocha que é mais alta do que eu

From the end of the earth will I cry unto you, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 Pois tens sido um refugio para mim, e uma torre forte contra o inimigo.

For you have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

4 Habitarei no teu tabernaculo para sempre: abrigar-me-hei no occulto das tuas azas (Selah)

I will abide in your tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of your wings. (Selah)

5 Pois tu, ó Deus, ouviste os meus votos: déste-me a herança dos que temem o teu nome.

For you, O God, have heard my vows: you have given me the heritage of those that fear your name.

6 Prolongarás os dias do rei; e os seus annos serão como muitas gerações.

You will prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.

7 Elle permanecerá diante de Deus para sempre; prepara-lhe misericordia e verdade que o preservem.

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

8 Assim cantarei psalmos ao teu nome perpetuamente, para pagar os meus votos de dia em dia.

So will I sing praise unto your name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
