Marcos 12
1 E começou a fallar-lhes por parabolas: Um homem plantou uma vinha, e cercou-a de um vallado, e fundou n'ella um lagar, e edificou uma torre, e arrendou-a a uns lavradores, e partiu para fóra da terra;
And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and dug a place for the winepress, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
2 E, chegado o tempo, mandou um servo aos lavradores para que recebesse, dos lavradores, do fructo da vinha.
And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 Mas elles, apoderando-se d'elle, o feriram e o mandaram embora vasio.
And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 E tornou a enviar-lhes outro servo; e elles, apedrejando-o, o feriram na cabeça, e o mandaram embora, tendo-o affrontado.
And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
5 E tornou a enviar-lhes outro, e a este mataram, e outros muitos, e feriram uns, e mataram outros.
And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
6 Tendo elle pois ainda um seu filho amado, enviou-o tambem a estes por derradeiro, dizendo: Ao menos terão respeito ao meu filho.
Having yet therefore one son, his beloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
7 Mas aquelles lavradores disseram entre si: Este é o herdeiro; vamos, matemol-o, e a herança será nossa.
But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be our's.
8 E, pegando d'elle, o mataram, e o lançaram fóra da vinha.
And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
9 Que fará pois o Senhor da vinha? Virá, e destruirá os lavradores, e dará a vinha a outros.
What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
10 Ainda não lestes esta Escriptura: A pedra, que os edificadores rejeitaram, esta foi posta por cabeça da esquina:
And have all of you not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11 Isto foi feito pelo Senhor, e é coisa maravilhosa aos nossos olhos?
This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
12 E buscavam prendel-o, mas temiam a multidão, porque entendiam que contra elles dizia esta parabola: e, deixando-o, foram-se.
And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
13 E enviaram-lhe alguns dos phariseos e dos herodianos, para que o apanhassem n'alguma palavra.
And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. (logos)
14 E, chegando elles, disseram-lhe: Mestre, sabemos que és homem de verdade, e de ninguem se te dá, porque não olhas á apparencia dos homens, antes com verdade ensinas o caminho de Deus: é licito dar o tributo a Cesar, ou não? Daremos, ou não daremos?
And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that you are true, and care for no man: for you regard not the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
15 Então ele, conhecendo a sua hypocrisia, disse-lhes: Porque me tentaes? trazei-me uma moeda, para que a veja.
Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt all of you me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
16 E elles lh'a trouxeram. E disse-lhes: De quem é esta imagem e inscripção? E elles lhe disseram: De Cesar.
And they brought it. And he says unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.
17 E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Dae pois a Cesar o que é de Cesar, e a Deus o que é de Deus. E maravilharam-se d'elle.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
18 Então os sadduceos, que dizem que não ha resurreição, approximaram-se d'elle, e perguntaram-lhe, dizendo:
Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
19 Mestre, Moysés nos escreveu que, se morresse o irmão de alguem, e deixasse mulher e não deixasse filhos, seu irmão tomasse a mulher d'elle, e suscitasse semente a seu irmão.
Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
20 Ora havia sete irmãos, e o primeiro tomou mulher, e morreu sem deixar semente;
Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
21 E o segundo tambem a tomou e morreu, e nem este deixou semente; e o terceiro da mesma maneira;
And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
22 E tomaram-n'a todos os sete, sem, comtudo, deixarem semente. Finalmente, depois de todos, morreu tambem a mulher.
And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
23 Na resurreição, pois, quando resuscitarem, de qual d'estes será a mulher? porque os sete a tiveram por mulher.
In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24 E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Porventura não erraes vós, porque não sabeis as Escripturas nem o poder de Deus?
And Jesus answering said unto them, Do all of you not therefore go astray, because all of you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
25 Porquanto, quando resuscitarem dos mortos, nem casarão, nem se darão em casamento, mas serão como os anjos que estão nos céus.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26 E, ácerca dos mortos que houverem de resuscitar, não tendes lido no livro de Moysés como Deus lhe fallou na sarça, dizendo: Eu sou o Deus de Abrahão, e o Deus de Isaac, e o Deus de Jacob?
And as concerning the dead, that they rise: have all of you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 Ora Deus não é dos mortos, mas sim Deus dos vivos. Por isso vós erraes muito.
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: all of you therefore do greatly go astray.
28 E, approximando-se d'elle um dos escribas que os tinha ouvido disputar, sabendo que lhes tinha respondido bem, perguntou-lhe: Qual é o primeiro de todos os mandamentos?
And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 E Jesus respondeu-lhe: O primeiro de todos os mandamentos é: Ouve, Israel, o Senhor nosso Deus é o unico Senhor.
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 Amarás, pois, o Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu coração, e de toda a tua alma, e de todo o teu entendimento, e de todas as tuas forças: este é o primeiro mandamento.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.
31 E o segundo, similhante a este, é: Amarás o teu proximo como a ti mesmo. Não ha outro mandamento maior do que estes.
And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
32 E o escriba lhe disse: Muito bem, Mestre, e com verdade disseste que ha um só Deus, e que não ha outro além d'elle;
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is one God; and there is no other but he:
33 E que amal-o de todo o coração, e de todo o entendimento, e de toda a alma, e de todas as forças, e amar o proximo como a si mesmo, é mais do que todos os holocaustos e sacrificios.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 E Jesus, vendo que havia respondido sabiamente, disse-lhe: Não estás longe do reino de Deus. E já ninguem ousava perguntar-lhe mais nada.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
35 E, fallando Jesus, dizia, ensinando no templo: Como dizem os escribas que o Christo é filho de David?
And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?
36 Porque o mesmo David disse pelo Espirito Sancto: O Senhor disse ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te á minha direita até que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabello dos teus pés.
For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) The LORD said to my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.
37 Pois, se David mesmo lhe chama Senhor, como é logo seu filho? E a grande multidão o ouvia de boa vontade.
David therefore himself calls him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
38 E, ensinando-os, dizia-lhes: Guardae-vos dos escribas, que gostam de andar com vestidos compridos, e das saudações nas praças,
And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
39 E das primeiras cadeiras nas synagogas, e dos primeiros assentos nas ceias;
And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
40 Que devoram as casas das viuvas, e isso com pretexto de largas orações. Estes receberão mais grave condemnação.
Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
41 E, estando Jesus assentado defronte da arca do thesouro, observava a maneira como a multidão lançava o dinheiro na arca do thesouro; e muitos ricos deitavam muito.
And Jesus sat opposite to the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42 E, chegando uma pobre viuva, deitou duas pequenas moedas, que valiam quatro réis.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 E, chamando os seus discipulos, disse-lhes: Em verdade vos digo que esta pobre viuva deitou mais do que todos os que deitaram na arca do thesouro,
And he called unto him his disciples, and says unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow has cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44 Porque todos ali deitaram do que lhes sobejava, mas esta, da sua pobreza, deitou tudo o que tinha, todo o seu sustento.
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her lack did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
