Levítico 26
1 Não fareis para vós idolos, nem vos levantareis imagem de esculptura nem estatua, nem poreis pedra figurada na vossa terra, para inclinar-vos a ella: porque Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
All of you shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall all of you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
2 Guardareis os meus sabbados, e reverenciareis o meu sanctuario: Eu sou o Senhor.
All of you shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
3 Se andardes nos meus estatutos, e guardardes os meus mandamentos, e os fizerdes,
If all of you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 Então eu vos darei as vossas chuvas a seu tempo; e a terra dará a sua novidade, e a arvore do campo dará o seu fructo:
Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 E a debulha se vos chegará á vindima, e a vindima se chegará á sementeira: e comereis o vosso pão a fartar, e habitareis seguros na vossa terra.
And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and all of you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 Tambem darei paz na terra, e dormireis seguros, e não haverá quem vos espante: e farei cessar as más bestas da terra, e pela vossa terra não passará espada.
And I will give peace in the land, and all of you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 E perseguireis os vossos inimigos, e cairão á espada diante de vós.
And all of you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 Cinco de vós perseguirão um cento, e cem de vós perseguirão dez mil; e os vossos inimigos cairão á espada diante de vós.
And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 E para vós olharei, e vos farei fructificar, e vos multiplicarei, e confirmarei o meu concerto comvosco.
For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 E comereis o deposito velho, depois de envelhecido; e tirareis fóra o velho por causa do novo.
And all of you shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
11 E porei o meu tabernaculo no meio de vós, e a minha alma de vós não se enfadará.
And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not detest you.
12 E andarei no meio de vós, e eu vos serei por Deus, e vós me sereis por povo.
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and all of you shall be my people.
13 Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei da terra dos egypcios, para que não fosseis seus escravos: e quebrantei os timões do vosso jugo, e vos fiz andar direitos.
I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that all of you should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14 Mas, se me não ouvirdes, e não fizerdes todos estes mandamentos,
But if all of you will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 E se rejeitardes os meus estatutos, e a vossa alma se enfadar dos meus juizos, não fazendo todos os meus mandamentos, para invalidar o meu concerto.
And if all of you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul detest my judgments, so that all of you will not do all my commandments, but that all of you break my covenant:
16 Então eu tambem vos farei isto: porei sobre vós terror, a tisica e a febre ardente, que consumam os olhos e atormentem a alma: e semeareis debalde a vossa semente, e os vossos inimigos a comerão.
I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and all of you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 E porei a minha face contra vós, e sereis feridos diante de vossos inimigos; e os que vos aborrecerem de vós se assenhorearão, e fugireis, sem ninguem vos perseguir.
And I will set my face against you, and all of you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and all of you shall flee when none pursues you.
18 E, se ainda com estas coisas não me ouvirdes, então eu proseguirei a castigar-vos sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
And if all of you will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 Porque quebrantarei a soberba da vossa força; e farei que os vossos céus sejam como ferro e a vossa terra como cobre.
And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 E debalde se gastará a sua força: a vossa terra não dará a sua novidade, e as arvores da terra não darão o seu fructo.
And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 E se andardes contrariamente para comigo, e não me quizerdes ouvir, trazer-vos-hei pragas sete vezes mais, conforme aos vossos peccados.
And if all of you walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22 Porque enviarei entre vós as feras do campo, as quaes vos destilharão, e desfarão o vosso gado, e vos apoucarão; e os vossos caminhos serão desertos.
I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
23 Se ainda com estas coisas não fôrdes restaurados por mim, mas ainda andardes contrariamente comigo,
And if all of you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24 Eu tambem comvosco andarei contrariamente, e eu, mesmo eu, vos ferirei sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 Porque trarei sobre vós a espada, que executará a vingança do concerto; e ajuntados estareis nas vossas cidades: então enviarei a peste entre vós, e sereis entregues na mão do inimigo.
And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when all of you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and all of you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 Quando eu vos quebrantar o sustento do pão, então dez mulheres cozerão o vosso pão n'um forno, e tornar-vos-hão o vosso pão por peso; e comereis, mas não vos fartareis.
And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and all of you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 E se com isto me não ouvirdes, mas ainda andardes contrariamente comigo,
And if all of you will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Tambem eu comvosco andarei contrariamente em furor; e vos castigarei sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 Porque comereis a carne de vossos filhos, e a carne de vossas filhas comereis.
And all of you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall all of you eat.
30 E destruirei os vossos altos, e desfarei as vossas imagens do sol, e lançarei os vossos cadaveres sobre os cadaveres mortos dos vossos deuses; a minha alma se enfadará de vós.
And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall detest you.
31 E porei as vossas cidades por deserto, e assolarei os vossos sanctuarios, e não cheirarei o vosso cheiro suave.
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32 E assolarei a terra e se espantarão d'isso os vossos inimigos que n'ella morarem.
And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 E vos espalharei entre as nações, e desembainharei a espada após de vós; e a vossa terra será assolada, e as vossas cidades serão desertas.
And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
34 Então a terra folgará nos seus sabbados, todos os dias da sua assolação, e vós estareis na terra dos vossos inimigos; então a terra descançará, e folgará nos seus sabbados
Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and all of you be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
35 Todos os dias da assolação descançará, porque não descançou nos vossos sabbados, quando habitaveis n'ella.
As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when all of you dwelt upon it.
36 E, quanto aos que de vós ficarem, eu metterei tal pavor nos seus corações, nas terras dos seus inimigos, que o sonido d'uma folha movida os perseguirá; e fugirão como de fugida da espada; e cairão sem ninguem os perseguir.
And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.
37 E cairão uns sobre os outros como de diante da espada, sem ninguem os perseguir; e não podereis parar diante dos vossos inimigos.
And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursues: and all of you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 E perecereis entre as gentes, e a terra dos vossos inimigos vos consumirá.
And all of you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 E aquelles que entre vós ficarem se derreterão pela sua iniquidade nas terras dos vossos inimigos, e pela iniquidade de seus paes com elles se derreterão.
And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40 Então confessarão a sua iniquidade, e a iniquidade de seus paes, com os seus trespassos, com que trespassaram contra mim; como tambem elles andaram contrariamente para comigo,
If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 Eu tambem andei com elles contrariamente, e os fiz entrar na terra dos seus inimigos; se então o seu coração incircumciso se humilhar, e então tomarem por bem o castigo da sua iniquidade,
And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Tambem eu me lembrarei do meu concerto com Jacob, e tambem do meu concerto com Isaac, e tambem do meu concerto com Abrahão me lembrarei, e da terra me lembrarei.
Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43 E a terra será desamparada d'elles, e folgará nos seus sabbados, sendo assolada por causa d'elles; e tomarão por bem o castigo da sua iniquidade, em razão mesmo de que rejeitaram os meus juizos e a sua alma se enfastiou dos meus estatutos.
The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lies desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 E, demais d'isto tambem, estando elles na terra dos seus inimigos, não os rejeitarei nem me enfadarei d'elles, para consumil-os e invalidar o meu concerto com elles, porque Eu sou o Senhor seu Deus.
And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I detest them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
45 Antes por amor d'elles me lembrarei do concerto com os seus antepassados, que tirei da terra do Egypto perante os olhos das nações, para lhes ser por Deus: Eu sou o Senhor.
But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
46 Estes são os estatutos, e os juizos, e as leis que deu o Senhor entre si e os filhos de Israel, no monte Sinai, pela mão de Moysés.
These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
