Ezequiel 6
1 E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto para os montes de Israel, e prophetiza contra elles.
Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3 E dirás: Montes d'Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah aos montes, aos outeiros, aos ribeiros e aos valles: Eis que eu, sim eu, trarei a espada sobre vós, e destruirei os vossos altos.
And say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 E serão assolados os vossos altares, e quebradas as vossas imagens do sol, e derribarei os vossos traspassados, diante dos vossos idolos.
And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5 E porei os cadaveres dos filhos de Israel diante dos seus idolos; e espalharei os vossos ossos em redor dos vossos altares.
And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6 Em todas as vossas habitações as cidades serão destruidas, e os altos assolados; para que os vossos altares sejam destruidos e assolados, e os vossos idolos se quebrem e cessem, e as vossas imagens do sol sejam cortadas, e desfeitas as vossas obras.
In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7 E os traspassados cairão no meio de vós; para que saibaes que eu sou o Senhor.
And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
8 Porém deixarei um resto, para que tenhaes alguns que escaparem da espada entre as nações, quando fordes espalhados pelas terras.
Yet will I leave a remnant, that all of you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when all of you shall be scattered through the countries.
9 Então se lembrarão de mim os que escaparem de vós entre as nações para onde foram levados em captiveiro; porquanto me quebrantei por causa do seu coração fornicario, que se desviou de mim, e por causa dos seus olhos, que andaram fornicando após os seus idolos; e terão nojo de si mesmos, por causa das maldades que fizeram em todas as suas abominações.
And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 E saberão que eu sou o Senhor, e que não disse debalde que lhes faria este mal.
And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
11 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Bate com a mão, e pateia com o teu pé, e dize: Ah, por todas as abominações das maldades da casa d'Israel! porque cairão á espada, e de fome, e de peste
Thus says the Lord GOD; Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12 O que estiver longe morrerá de peste, e o que está perto cairá á espada; e o que ficar de resto e cercado morrerá de fome: e cumprirei o meu furor contra elles.
He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
13 Então sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, quando estiverem os seus traspassados no meio dos seus idolos, em redor dos seus altares, em todo o outeiro alto, em todos os cumes dos montes, e debaixo de toda a arvore verde, e debaixo de todo o carvalho espesso, no logar onde offereciam perfume de cheiro suave a todos os seus idolos.
Then shall all of you know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
14 E estenderei a minha mão sobre elles, e farei a terra assolada, e mais assolada do que o deserto da banda de Diblath, em todas as suas habitações: e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
