Deuteronômio 23
1 O quebrado de quebradura, e o castrado, não entrará na congregação do Senhor.
He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD.
2 Nenhum bastardo entrará na congregação do Senhor: nem ainda a sua decima geração entrará na congregação do Senhor.
A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of the LORD.
3 Nenhum ammonita nem moabita entrará na congregação do Senhor: nem ainda a sua decima geração entrará na congregação do Senhor eternamente.
An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of the LORD for ever:
4 Porquanto não sairam com pão e agua, a receber-vos no caminho, quando saíeis do Egypto; e porquanto alugou contra ti a Balaão, filho de Beor, de Pethor, de Mesopotamia, para te amaldiçoar.
because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
5 Porém o Senhor teu Deus não quiz ouvir Balaão: antes o Senhor teu Deus trocou em benção a maldição; porquanto o Senhor teu Deus te amava.
Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
6 Não lhes procurarás nem paz nem bem em todos os teus dias para sempre.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
7 Não abominarás o edumeo, pois é teu irmão: nem abominarás o egypcio; pois estrangeiro foste na sua terra.
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
8 Os filhos que lhes nascerem na terceira geração, cada um d'elles entrará na congregação do Senhor.
The children of the third generation that are born unto them shall enter into the assembly of the LORD.
9 Quando o exercito sair contra os teus inimigos, então te guardarás de toda a coisa má.
When thou goest forth in camp against thine enemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing.
10 Quando entre ti houver algum que por algum accidente de noite não estiver limpo, sairá fóra do exercito; não entrará no meio do exercito.
If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
11 Porém será que, declinando a tarde, se lavará em agua; e, em se pondo o sol, entrará no meio do arraial.
but it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water: and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.
12 Tambem terás um logar fóra do arraial; e ali sairás fóra.
Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
13 E entre as tuas armas terás uma pá; e será que, quando estiveres assentado fóra, então com ella cavarás, e, virando-te, cobrirás aquillo que saiu de ti.
and thou shalt have a paddle among thy weapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
14 Porquanto o Senhor teu Deus anda no meio do teu arraial, para te livrar, e entregar os teus inimigos diante de ti: pelo que o teu arraial será sancto: para que elle não veja coisa feia em ti, e se torne atraz de ti.
for the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
15 Não entregarás a seu senhor o servo que se acolner a ti de seu senhor;
Thou shalt not deliver unto his master a servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
16 Comtigo ficará no meio de ti, no logar que escolher em alguma das tuas portas, onde lhe estiver bem: não o opprimirás.
he shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
17 Não haverá rameira d'entre as filhas d'Israel; nem haverá sodomita d'entre os filhos d'Israel.
There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Não trarás salario de rameira nem preço de cão á casa do Senhor teu Deus por qualquer voto: porque estes ambos são egualmente abominação ao Senhor teu Deus.
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the wages of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
19 A teu irmão não emprestarás á usura, nem á usura de dinheiro, nem á usura de comida, nem á usura de qualquer coisa que se empreste á usura.
Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
20 Ao estranho emprestarás á usura, porém a teu irmão não emprestarás á usura: para que o Senhor teu Deus te abençoe em tudo no que pozeres a tua mão, na terra a qual vaes a possuir.
unto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thine hand unto, in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.
21 Quando votares algum voto ao Senhor teu Deus, não tardarás em pagal-o; porque o Senhor teu Deus certamente o requererá de ti, e em ti haverá peccado.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not be slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
22 Porém, abstendo-te de votar, não haverá peccado em ti
But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
23 O que saiu da tua bocca guardarás, e o farás; trazendo a offerta voluntaria, assim como votaste ao Senhor teu Deus, o que declaraste pela tua bocca.
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, a freewill offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
24 Quando entrares na vinha do teu proximo, comerás uvas conforme ao teu desejo até te fartares, porém não as porás no teu vaso
When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
25 Quando entrares na seara do teu proximo, com a tua mão arrancarás as espigas; porém não metterás a foice na seara do teu proximo.
When thou comest into thy neighbour’s standing corn, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn.
