2 Coríntios 13

1 É esta a terceira vez que vou ter comvosco. Na bocca de duas ou tres testemunhas será confirmada toda a palavra.

This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word (rhema) be established.

2 Já anteriormente o disse: e segunda vez o digo como se estivesse presente; agora pois, estando ausente, o digo aos que d'antes peccaram e a todos os mais, que, se outra vez fôr, não lhes perdoarei;

I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which in time past have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

3 Visto que buscaes uma prova de Christo que falla em mim, o qual não é fraco para comvosco, antes é poderoso entre vós.

Since all of you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which toward you is not weak, but is mighty in you.

4 Porque, ainda que foi crucificado por fraqueza, todavia vive pelo poder de Deus. Porque nós tambem somos fracos n'elle, porém viveremos com elle pelo poder de Deus em vós.

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

5 Examinae-vos a vós mesmos, se permaneceis na fé; provae-vos a vós mesmos. Ou não vos conheceis a vós mesmos, que Jesus Christo está em vós? Se não é que já estaes reprovados.

Examine yourselves, whether all of you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know all of you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except all of you be reprobates?

6 Mas espero que entendereis que nós não somos reprovados.

But I trust that all of you shall know that we are not reprobates.

7 Ora eu rogo a Deus que não façaes mal algum, não para que sejamos achados approvados, mas para que vós façaes o bem, embora nós sejamos como reprovados.

Now I pray to God that all of you do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that all of you should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

8 Porque nada podemos contra a verdade, senão pela verdade.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

9 Porque nos regozijamos de estar fracos, quando vós estaes fortes; e o que desejamos é a vossa perfeição.

For we are glad, when we are weak, and all of you are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

10 Portanto, escrevo estas coisas estando ausente, para que, estando presente, não use de rigor, segundo o poder que o Senhor me deu para edificação, e não para destruição.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord has given me to edification, and not to destruction.

11 Quanto ao mais, irmãos, regozijae-vos, sêde perfeitos, sêde consolados, sêde de um mesmo parecer, vivei em paz; e o Deus do amor e da paz será comvosco.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love (agape) and peace shall be with you.

12 Saudae-vos uns aos outros com osculo sancto.

Greet one another with an holy kiss.

13 Todos os sanctos vos saudam.

All the saints salute you.

14 A graça do Senhor Jesus Christo, e o amor de Deus, e a communhão do Espirito Sancto seja com vós todos. Amen.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love (agape) of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) be with you all. Amen.
